Tldr: Jirai danshi course shows a lack in understanding of intersectionality from both main sides; Men are affected negatively by patriarchy, and trans men are not equivalent in oppression to women.

Men ARE affected by the patriarchy, especially in regards to mental health with stigma like "men don't cry" or "Men are strong and don't suffer from mental illness" or other saying of the sort. Men also represent a large portion of suicides successfully committed. These rates are higher for men who may have a marginalizing factor such as disability, race, sexuality etc. Just because men hold societal power underneath the patriarchy does not mean they cannot experience mental health issues or present them in the same way as women.

Autistic men in particular are shown to have a higher suicide rate as well as a higher proclivity towards forums like proana, sh, and incel type activities, so it can be assumed they will also congregate at Jirai forums.

Furthermore, explosive men will be viewed as more of a threat than explosive women due to the preconceived notions of women being more docile. This expectation, of a cute/docile yet explosive woman is what the Jirai subculture stands on, and so therefore women SHOULD be the primary group here, with men as the exception to the rule.

To the people who are in support of Jirai Danshis and use the argument that many of them found the subculture pre transition, and stayed while/after transitioning, and therefore experience oppression due to mental health similarly to cis women miss the point that trans men will NOT be oppressed in the same way as women because THEY ARE NOT WOMEN, even if they once identified as one.

Trans men WILL be impacted by misogyny, but not in the same way a woman would be. Cis women will be affected by transphobia, but not in the way a trans man would be.

Saying that Jirai Danshis deserve to be in the community because many of them are trans draws a line between trans and cis men that forces trans Jirai Danshis to out themselves to stay in the community, and divides the two groups, pushing trans men into the other.
