Hii Lennon!

So I was wondering if the boys ever (tried) smoking.

So, I know that Faroff is set around the 10-20s, and at that time smoking was very well seen, even desired. Since it was very well-regarded especially in higher/richer societies, besides being an essential part of a "kit" for some soldiers, I can see either of them doing it.

(Also, I can imagine a scenario where Tobi is forced to smoke to make him "more of a man" and that kind of b-llshit)

So tbh I've never really thought about this much, but I'm leaning more toward no, neither of them smoke. I think smoking would be banned in Sona so it's definitely a no for Fenn.

Tobi I think it would be more like...he's seen his mom smoke socially and he doesn't want to be like her in any way. He MAY have tried it, because he is under more pressure to fit in, but if he did it wouldn't be something he does a lot.

Feel free to expand on this in head canons however you like, this is a topic that will probably never be brought up in the main story haha.

Romance-repulsed sex-repulsed aroace here. The "aromantics can still date" and "asexuals can still have sex" arguments are more often used to make us seem more palatable and "normal" to alloallos than they are used in our genuine defense. And ESPECIALLY by people who want to take away our representation by erasing the identity of every aspec character to ever exist. They are valid arguments, no one's debating that, but they're often used in the wrong ways, and frankly, don't need to be brought up constantly.

The sentences "Asexuals can still have sex" and "Aromantics can still date" need to go up on the high shelf for everyone except aces and aros talking about their own experiences. From now on, everyone else has to use the revolutionary new phrase "Asexuals and aromantics can do whatever the fuck they want forever."

I definitely thought about that lmao, I think in my analysis post for episode 84 I actually talked about it and how the things he's doing aren't inherently romantic, they're just out of genuine care for Tobias as a person (which I think makes this whole segment of story so much better)- it's definitely a really nice detail!

Might have to start doing a favorite panel redraw every update, there were so many to choose from this ep but this one really spoke to me lol (the hug itself and Tobias laughing at Fenn cussing out the Hawkfordts were top contenders as well)
