Hii! I haven't been active on tumblr for years but was feeling nostalgic so I decided to go through my blog and idk if you remember this but 9 years ago I asked if anyone had aftg #2 and #3 to send me since I couldn't find them anywhere, and you replied that I shouldn't illegally download them but instead you bought them for me and sent them via email!! Well I really gotta THANK YOU for this because these books really changed my life, I've re-read them every single year since 2016 :)) Hope you've had a great life since our brief encounter!

omg hello! <3 Same, these books have permanently changed my brain chemistry and I can't believe it's been a whole decade already.

I don't know if you know or if you would even be interested in this anymore, but in case your trip down memory lane includes eating this trilogy again, there's also the second trilogy (2 out of 3 books out) and a prequel+sequel you can look forward to. Just in case you needed this rabbit hole to drag you a bit deeper again. Otherwise, know that we're thriving and I'm so happy you joined us for this wild ride!

Hello hello! Some of you may remember a questionnaire that floated around the fandom in December of last year, collecting data on how and where people discovered AftG. That was part of my research for my undergraduate dissertation:

As a long-term lover of this series and its fandom, I loved hearing from you all. It was so lovely to learn about your experiences with the series and how it got many of us through tough times! Thank you again to everyone who took part (or wanted to, but wasn't able to).
