Going through my unposted art and found this one - thought I’d posted it but apparently not so have a goodbye to Eddies moustache that I painted - not my best piece but I’m still learning and experimenting with this digital art lark and I do love how his skin turned out!

📝: the teleplay and story writers for 8x09 Sob Stories. this could change but they have been given final credits so it’s unlikely.

rashad raisani was the showrunner for 9-1-1: lonestar and doesn’t have any credits for OG besides this. he wrote the lone star finale by himself.

matthew solik is also from lone star, he has no credits for OG but has written a few episodes of lone star.

I spent far too long working on this Buck and Jee-Yun painting but I love how it turned out! Might do more in this style down the line!

Sorry for going completely M.I.A for over a month, it was not my intention, but I ended up in a severe burnout which culminated in a bit of a breakdown and so I’ve spent the last few weeks recovering and without the ability to do much on social media.

To everyone who has tagged me or sent asked etc that I haven’t responded to in any way, I love you all for thinking of me and including me in things/sending asks etc hope you all know that it wasn’t on you and that if I had been able to, I would’ve been responding and championing all your creativity etc.

Burnout and a breakdown is not a fun way to spend my time, but I’m starting to feel better and feel able to get back to being online. I had so many plans for posts I wanted to write this hiatus, not sure I’ll get many of them out now but I will put some things out over the next few weeks! I have no idea what’s been going down for the most part in my absence - which is probably a good thing tbh - so bear with me if I end up going over things fandom has already discussed ad nauseum 🤓

Anyway - it’s good to be back and can’t wait to catch up with everything and everyone

Thought I’d show you how I’ve been going about my digital drawings - I just discovered that you can video procreate - so maybe I’ll do one of those in the future, but for the Ryan and Oliver digital drawings I did, I can show you my layers and how I worked because I was taking screenshots of my progress!!!

First up Oliver

my line sketch - with colour coding as it was easier to do it this way!

colour blocking - ngl I actually really like it when it looked like this it just tickles the right part of my brain!

Now all the colours are sudged together and I've added in some of the texture

Line drawing - he looks like a sailor because I went a bit ott with lining in the beard!

Working on the skin - the neck was actually a real challenge!

Face in progress - he looks so creepy without eyes and I spent soooo long on his lips - I think I erased them like 4 times - but it was worth it because I am soo happy with how they turned out!

Then I was annoyed with eyes so I did some of his hair before going back to his second eye!

and there you have it - me with zero procreate or digital drawing experience having a mess around with the brushes and seeing what I could actually do and I'm obsessed with how they both turned out!

I've been doing some tutorials on procreate - so hopefully I'll get better now I"m learning how to alter the brushes and things!

I’m pretty proud of how this turned out! It was fun playing with the pens and seeing what I could create! Took me around 12 hours total to create this and now I’ve finished it I can get back to writing my metas😎
