The working people of Ukraine and Russia have been pawned against one another in a horrifically bloody game of imperial chess between two false democracies, having been referred to as a "meat-grinder." Neither the working class of Russia, Ukraine, Europe or the US has any say over whether their children are sent to the traumatising front in a ritualised slaughter on behalf of capital and nation-building. But they do have a power as a collective: to turn their weapons at home on the corrupted systems that demand this carnage and annihilation.

The communists, anarchists and socialists of the world seek to organise and educate the oppressed everywhere on direct action and their united might. Without these people, trains carrying troops and guns cannot run, ships laden with shells and bombs are stuck in port and the directions of sadistic officers fall on deaf ears. It is this power that must be realised if such violence and destruction are to be abolished, and our species can heal and progress in unity.

I am Mohammed Alanqer married from Enas Majed we have 3 children

Amidst the ongoing war in Gaza, we find ourselves as a family trapped between walls of fear and despair. I, Mohammed, a father of three children and a husband to a woman in her eighth month of pregnancy, live in an environment filled with threats and risks.

My technology startup, which I built with dedication and hard work, was destroyed during this war, leading to the loss of our livelihood. My children, Layan, Sarah, and Adam, no longer have the opportunity for education due to the destruction of schools, posing a significant threat to their future.

My wife, Enas, lives in constant anxiety due to her advanced pregnancy and the destruction of hospitals in the area. After losing my job and source of income, I find myself in a severe financial crisis, unable to provide for the needs and safety of my family.

Our family home was destroyed due to the war, forcing us to flee and move multiple times, leaving us homeless. Everything has become difficult now; we cannot provide a safe place to live, nor can we afford clean clothes and food for our children. Additionally, our children have been afflicted with diseases such as measles, and our son Adam has been diagnosed with viral hepatitis.

Our only hope now is to escape from this ongoing hell and find a safe haven for our family. However, this requires exorbitant financial costs, with the coordination fee for crossing borders amounting to $5000 per adult and $2500 per child, a sum I cannot afford alone.

I'm Abdelrahman, 22 years old. My journey has been marked by loss and resilience. When I was 18, my father passed away from COVID-19. Determined to build my own future, I pursued an education in multimedia technology, balancing my studies with work to cover my expenses. I was preparing to establish my home and life.

My mother: the princess whom we strive to make happy and satisfy. ❤️️

However, the war in Gaza, especially in the north, brought devastating tragedy. My home, university, job, and family were all destroyed in the conflict. While my family moved to the south, I was in the north, facing famine and moving from place to place, trying to survive.

Our street used to be lively and full of people, but it is no longer like that.

I have witnessed countless difficult and painful scenes while escaping death multiple times. In northern Gaza, life is reduced to a cycle of fleeing from danger and searching for food amidst the rubble of destroyed homes.

I have survived many times,I was hit by a missile in previously destroyed house

This picture is enough to show our suffering in getting flour to survive.

My dream is to travel abroad with my mother and sister to continue my education and develop my practical skills. For the past eight months, I have been unemployed, focusing on self-improvement and hoping for a better future.

Despite the claims that many western countries are democratic, it is important to realise that it only ever truly democratic in its service to the dominant classes- the bourgeoisie and capitalists. True economic democracy, and the ability to change our relation to the modes of production and the structure of the division of labour, is non-existent in these countries, as this would threaten the foundation upon which the dominant classes justify and assert their power. As everything in society is tied to the material conditions presented us, this means that true, systemic and lasting change is impossible under such a framework.

As with the old state machinery, the current political set-up must be both seized and abolished if the say of all working people globally is to be both taken seriously, and realised materialistically, with a replacement of government priorities from the protection of property and exploitation of labour, to the service of humanity, the protection of the planet and the establishment of a free and un-alienated association of labour.

We look to end the war on our planet and environment by bloodthirsty corporations and establish sustainable energy sources, for the protection of communities globally.

Our hearts beat forever on the left, for the dispossessed, exploited and marginalised.

The concept of the state machinery, its conception and eventual abolition has really been a fixation for me recently. This more or less defines what I spoke about in an earlier post relating to the vital arming of the masses, highlighting the instrument of oppression and reaction (the state) and the tools it will use to retain and reclaim power from the working class.

Also important is addressing the nature of the replacement 'state'; the proletariat as the ruling class. The foundations of the former state must be thoroughly flattened and suppressed to avoid both counter-revolution and/or a return to an oppressive form of class society, with one emphasising universal suffrage.
