so what happened to bombproof in this timeline 🥺 ( and uh, if the hellhorse lifespans are like earthhorse ones.... did striker have dedicated steeds after bomb? )

unfortunately

bombproof is nowhere to be seen after the timeline split. he isn't dead, but striker was taken very far away shortly after the explosion. I'm not sure where bombproof was in relation to the incident but he definitely doesn't know where striker went.

striker can only hope that bombproof doesn't think he abandoned him. and that if he waits long enough, his horse will be returned to him

in the meantime, I had the idea that striker would get inspired by dennis and his bike and try taking up motorcycling himself in attempts to fill the void

I drew this bikers fit for him. its meant to be a contrasting white version of dennis's fit and a nod to strikers canon fit. (look how happy he is to put a hat on again)

and I know it's probably not what you asked but I also drew this 2 days ago that I want an excuse to post them

I never planned to post it given its irrelevant to whatever world rules I've established for myself. I literally just watched lilo and stitch and had an i t c h

I think the idea here is that they got their inciting injuries far earlier (striker getting burned and dennis hit by a boat)

at least they seem to get along in this one. as sad as the implications of their injuries are

idunno- I guess I never really thought abt it given there's the entire chance the show will do that for me. my striker is meant to BE canon striker up unto the end of oops. like a timeline split if you will.

oddly enough, in my head, striker always sees his younger better self as how he was in harvest moon festival. up on stage, suave and adored, not yet touched by whatever steady mental decline took place after that day-

What are Striker and Dennis's issues?

honestly, not that deep. it's kinda just "two professional murderers with abysmal social skills forced to be roomates, hijinks ensue"

they're simply not two guys that'd get along upon first impression. After a few drinks and bonding by a bonfire? HARD maybe. but they're not getting to that stage for a while.

also half my entire reason for starting this niche series in the first place were inspired by the surprisingly large amount of these floating around
