Seen more and more people nearly convinced that Temperance was killed off and I just...don't really get it?? To me it was pretty clear that Ken didn't eat their brain to kill them (which would defeat the entire premise of the show since nobody stays dead) and rather to keep them imprisoned in his stomach, so they can't snitch. I mean, think about it: he's done essentially the same thing to Jack at the start of the pilot. But this time he's not taking any chances, since Temperance is clearly much deeper involved in this mess than the poor guy ever was.

Sooo, what better place to hide someone you REALLY need to stay quiet, than in yourself?

I feel like they'll show up again in mostly flashbacks and mentions, probably won't leave their tummy prison for majority of the series, though.

I do wonder if they'll be released by accident or on purpose....maybe to help the gang out? Who knows.

Excited to learn more about this world and how it works ngl! Can't wait to see more of them too, ofc :]

(Honorary mention: Diligence got outright pulvarised, whole body and brain grinded into dust, but they still came back at the end of the pilot. Soooo, rlly don't know why that's even a worry/discussion tbh)

Punctuating Dialogue

➸ “This is a sentence with a dialogue tag at the end,” she said.

➸ “This is a sentence,” she said. “This is a new sentence. New sentences are capitalized.”

This post is mostly directed towards myself and my experience with art and how it's evolved over the years.

I always liked to paint, already way back as a toddler I made little comics of my dog and pretty much scribbled everywhere. Just playing around with colours and stuff, with no plan in mind.

The older I got, the more I realised that what was once a hobby which merely brought me joy and relaxation had turned into a competition. Especially once I got introduced to online art spaces and started drawing on my phone.

Instead of thinking to myself "man that looks great, I wanna draw more!" it turned more into an "eh, could do a lot better, but I'm too exhausted to try more".

Only recently I started painting again, rather than drawing digitally. By grabbing my long abandoned acrylics and just going at it on the back of a compact mirror. No expectations, no vision, no voice in the back of my mind telling me how bad it looked.

Once I was done, the thing didn't even have a proper motif, just some badly drawn heart shape and whatever the hell the one was on the back.

But I hadn't had this much fun painting in years.

So I painted onto my new phone case next, again with nothing particular in mind aside from a galaxy. It didn't turn into anything too noteworthy either, but I still love it. I love the colours, shapes and enjoyment I get from merely looking at it, by remembering how...fun it had been, to paint.

Next thing I knew I did the same with my headphones's cover, just a few days later.

And now? Now I'm planning on buying new colours for Christmas, something I hadn't even considered doing for years. Figured I'd never use those acrylics much anyway.

I'm glad I was wrong.

Upset that no one has talked about how sweet of a character Jayce talis is. Like yes he’s brave and determined and a little bit naive in s1, but he’s also just. Sweet. He likes putting his head on Mel’s lap and getting his hair stroked. He immediately claimed viktor as his partner and equal in front of everybody. He presses his forehead to viktors in their final moments so they can be close. He’s sweet.
