This one was 95% drawn and painted at work 😅 (there is... no work to do, so boring, I ended up taking my Switch after not even 2 weeks at my new workplace)

I couldn't have all my reference pics on my computer and looked at them one by one on my phone, with all the details being different from one pic to another so it was tough 🙃

I really love how Ijuuin went from this:

To this:

Because I have no intention of letting you go (逃がす気はない)

(This happens after Ijuuin tells Yuu that he (Yuu) is different from Misaki)

Emphasis in the verbs used. Because, in the first panel, Ijuuin is using the verb is 離す (hanasu) (translated as let go) (y'know the verb used in the first junjou opening "sono te hanasanaideee" wjsjdjfj) has the nuance that the speaker is doing, or not doing, the action of letting go, putting the focus on Ijuuin. Meaning that Yuu can trust that Ijuuin doesn't want to separate himself from him.

However, the verb in the second panel iswhile 逃がす (nigasu) (also translated as let go) it has the nuance of letting someone/something escape or get away, putting the focus on Yuu and the actions he could make. Meaning that no matter what Yuu does, Ijuuin doesn't plan to let him get away. Even if Yuu tries to separate himself from Ijuuin, Ijuuin won't let him.

I really like the change from "wanting to do something" (not letting go of Yuu) -> to "not intending to let Yuu do something" (escape/get away). Ijuuin shows more determination in the newest chapter and even if Yuu hasn't told him that he loves him, given how jealous he got in the newest character, Ijuuin must already know that, so he doesn't intend to let Yuu go. And, in the same vein, he won't let Yuu run away from his own feeling (or that's what I think).

Ijuuin is someone who's really upfront about his feelings and thoughts, so I really like how that clashes with how chronically repressed Yuu is.

It may sound possessive and rub some people in the wrong way, but I really think that given how insecure Yuu is, I think that he really needs to hear how badly he's needed and wanted ♡
