Being a middle schooler is just like I imagined, but at the same time not. I miss being in elementary and making the stupidest jokes with my friends and playing Roblox because we barely had any homework. I miss the feeling that being a teenager would be so awesome. It's not. It sucks. I recently was told by a high school I applied to that I could skip algebra because I am taking it now and skip geometry or even trigonometry. Long gone are the days that I could multiply some fractions, write a paragraph, and it would still only be 4 p.m. Now, it feels like I can only talk to people of the same gender and that everything I do is wrong. I don't have time to hang out with anyone because I am either studying or doing homework. I wish girls weren't so mean and that I could do what I want with myself without someone making me feel like crap about it. Middle school sucks.
