An update | Regarding season 5

// Hey everybody! As some of you may know, Camp Camp is returning for season 5 on March 1st over at roosterteeth.com!

Usually, new seasons return in the summertime, and my characters age in real time from when their blogs begin, HOWEVER- Since the new season will air in spring but take place the following summer from where the series initially began, I've decided to jump ahead to summertime for my muses!

That being said-- The updated ages for my muses areeee

Elise: 19, going on 20 in August

Cody: 26 (And Parker will be 3!)

Chanel: 23

Otis: 20

Robin: 21 (But, I'll be honest, not sure if she'll be making a full comeback?? she'll likely be mentioned tho!)

Really, this timeskip is only a few months ahead, and I typically start RPing summer sessions in May when the fandom would normally make a return, so for simplicity's sake-

Yep, still here. Still very much pregnant.

Did you know that carrying around a baby bump in 90-100 degree weather every day is exhausting? I found out THE HARD WAY.

I did not ask you to come and help. It isn’t even your day off. You bought more than I did, somehow.

It’s official; I’m weak.

I went to the thrift store in town with Chanel to help her pick out some baby clothes, and i totally wound up picking out a bunch of baby clothes we (being Octavia and I) don’t need.

…However, I know if I don’t get it now, it won’t be there when we would need them. Also I just like adding to the collection.

...So, does this count as my first Mother’s Day?

I hate to say it, but the mystery meat he’s using has been hitting the spot lately...

What has happened to us?

Gwen, have you been having any weird cravings lately? Cause I'm worried my baby might be some sort of cannibal

... I've resorted to willingly eating QM's food because I'm craving it.

...Is it bad for me to be craving fish of all things? Fin’s, like, a fish creature essentially (I think?), is my baby a cannibal or something?

I’ve also been craving watermelon and drinking A BUNCH of water, I’ve been peeing every half hour it feels. At least I’m hydrated, I guess.

Well, I finally remembered to tell my dad I’m pregnant. Took me long enough.

Okay, new year, new uniforms.

Would’ve loved it if I had known ahead of time I was gonna be pregnant this summer, then I could’ve ordered a bigger size much earlier instead of trying to squeeze into my old uniform like that, oh well.

...Y’know, I was drunk when I got pregnant.

You can make it up to me by letting me have a beer sometime this week and not tell Gwen or David about it.

At dinner time, as everyone gathered in the mess hall, Chanel had to take a moment to muster up the courage.

Come on, just blurt it out and get it over with.

With another bite of cheesecake (which she bought solely for herself, but felt nice enough to share with Gwen, seeing as she’d be her bump buddy for the summer it seemed), she quickly stood up, clanking her fork on her water glass to draw everyone’s attention.

“As we all know, tomorrow marks the beginning of May. Camp will open up very soon, and this year brings on big changes for everyone.”

“This year, Elise is finally a fully-fledged counselor,” Elise smiles in her seat, but slowly shys away into her shirt when people direct their attention towards her.

“And we’re also missing a few loved ones for a while, such as Octavia, who’s out of town til further notice being a model. Good for her, yes yes” Chanel quickly and quietly clapped to herself, eager to move on. “And Otis is staying at college for summer courses, proud of him. And Robin is on a cross-country road trip with her father for the summer to see the states, which is very exciting!”

“And, of course, Gwen here is expecting, which is very exciting, and I wish a happy and safe pregnancy for her over the summer.”

With a gulp, and a room full of eyes on her, it was now or never.

“But Gwen won’t be the only one expecting this summer,” Chanel says, her voice cracking a bit as she put a shaky hand over her stomach. “I recently found out that... I... am with child, so-to-say”

For some, it was shocked expressions, and for a few, it seemed to be a look of relief, which had her a little confused, but she’d gloss over it for now.

The knot between her shoulders finally eased up a bit, and she felt relieved for the first time all week.

With a smile, she sat back down, getting back to her cheesecake with Gwen.

Okay, I had some cheesecake (de-LISH) and calmed down a bit.

I should proooobably go and tell everyone already if I’m gonna be a mess like that other baby clothes.

THERE WERE SOOOO MANY CUTE BABY CLOTHES AT THE STORE OH MY GOOOOOODDD

THEY WERE SO LITTLE... WHY DO THEY GOTTA BE SO LITTLE?
