may i ask how you get your linework and colors to be so smooth and crisp on your skins? they're so amazing!

I have a little process (along w processes from other skin artists) here in this thread but my trick for skins honestly is:

6-8px default round brush on 1250px canvas

COLOUR the INNER LINES after flats

use the lines/shadows to your advantage; my skins are always very colorful. by tinting the lines and shadows a very saturated colour you can either blend it into your skin OR use it as 'shading'

I really lucked out in finding her because my find a dragon thread had very few hits until another kind user offered up the PERFECT dragon. A few days of brewing apparel at Baldwin's and a ridgeback breed change later, I had one wonderful mad scientist lesbian.

I am so so proud of this dragon??? Her outfit was very much inspired by other Liv fandragons, but ultimately I put my own spin on things. I also am super pleased with how ridgebacks just suit her so perfectly, given they've got so many angles, just like Liv's design in Spider-verse. my only regret is that i can't give her her glorious mane of curly hair

My Otto Octavius/Doc Ock fandragon! I was again inspired by some of the Doc Ock fandragons I've seen over the years but after watching No Way Home I knew I had to get the spirit of Alfred Molina into my dragon lair somehow. Obelisks are just. a++ perfect for Molina!Doc Ock, because they look so huggable and soft, just like Alfred Molina. and also who else was going to call my Peter Parker fandragon 'My dear boy'???

Note that he wears a sage tassel, which I've been using to symbolize brilliance and genius amongst my Spider-people fandragons, because he is also a genius who deserves a tassel (and also it brought the outfit together so nicely)

I expect Octavius here was a brilliant but arrogant scientist who sought to harness the power of the sun and had it backfire horribly on him. Are the arms some type of weird magic?? Influence of the Shade??? i have no idea, but until FR decides to make Doc Ock robot arm apparel, the Grasps are here to stay

I'm shamelessly going to share some of my fandragons because I'm super proud of them. My Peter Parker was technically meant to be a 'generic Spider-man' fandragon ('cause if I wanted to make them all, I'd run out of lairspace lol), but the more I look at him the more he's coming across as Tobey Maguire!Peter Parker. The fact that one of my Doc Ocks is Molina!Ock totally 100% did not influence this at all nopenopenope.

Peter's design was partially inspired by several other Spider-man fandergs I've seen over the years, but with my own added elements such as the clawtips and sage tassel. Almost all my Spider-person fandragons have a tassel on their tails to symbolize their genius. In my lair, I envision Peter to be the Big Brother of all dragons younger than him.
