Over the weekend, CFS members worked on an Iron Chef Challenge!  

An Iron Chef Challenge (IC) for those of you who are unaware is a type of editing contest where the participants are given a choice of two songs, pick the one they prefer, and edit a video during the allotted time. For this one, we did 48 hours from the time we received our songs. Normally a third party who didn’t participate will judge the IC and chose the one they think is best, but we literally thought all of the videos were so good that we couldn’t decide.

Hello, everyone! The members of CourageousFateStudio have decided to start making videos again now that most of us are out of school. As we were talking about resurrecting CFS, we realized that the old way we used to make videos (using a forum) was a little outdated and that using a Discord server would be a lot easier. It’s going to be an interesting learning curve, but we are all excited.  So, if you are interested in potentially becoming a member, just wanting to chat with members, or just generally curious, please join us!

Hey! I just found this page and I’ve been a video editor for years though I lost my original YouTube account in high school and didn’t have much time in college. I still don’t vid as much as I used to, but I’d love to do it with others again. And when I do vid, princess tutu is still one of my favorites to work with!

Hi!!! I saw your video Do I Look Moderate to You? and I absolutely LOVED it. The timing was spectacular! And if it helps all the active members of CFS did the exact same thing, we all only just recently got back into video editing. XD And most of us are still vidding with Princess Tutu, it is just so good to work with.

If we were to open up song suggestions to you guys, would you be interested? Like, you request a song and we try to vid it sort of thing.

We. Are. Not. Dead.

I know that this is going to come as a surprise to many of the people who still follow this channel, but don’t remember that they do and then see it on their dash, but CourageousFateStudio is not dead, though I understand where you would get that impression. 

The truth is, around our second year as an active studio, we started losing members fast. A few gave explanations as to why they were leaving, but most just stopped logging in. And our attempts to bring in new editors, new members floundered at best. It wasn’t long before all our remaining members were busy with college and unable to find time to edit. 

So for a while, all we were able to do were the Fakiru Week videos, then the Rytho Week videos, then we stopped being able to edit at all... 

It was disheartening and terrifying to the leaders, StarPrincessTally and myself (xQueenyLeAcH), who love the studio with all their soul, to see the studio disappear like this. 

However, I graduated from college last year, and StarPrincessTally is graduating this spring, so we will begin working on new collabs here in the next few weeks. We are super excited to share our vids with you. And if you would like to join us, become a member of the new CFS, just send me a message and I’ll take a look at your stuff. <3
