Lately I've been obsessed with domestic scenes from my various DND games, particular Lili's family & childhood. Here she's featured with her mother, and her uncle Bear, as they share a bedtime story.

It's especially fun to draw Bear, ngl. Really takes me back to my furry art days, plus it's fantastic having dragonborn in the game who are more diverse than the typically reptilian ones.

So obviously Lili's design was heavily influenced by Sailor Moon, and I felt like taking that a step further by doing my own version of one of Naoko's side illustrations, complete with this dress I've been absolutely obsessed with from the Great Gatsby musical promos. (my own take on it, anyway, because the real bead work would have been impossible to replicate.) Gotta say i'm pretty happy with it~

Less happy with Tumblr's compression. Still not sure what's causing that. Bah.

Meet the cast of What's Your Damage? Series 2!

Rizzo is on a journey to find herself. Despite growing up in a community where everyone had their place and stuck to it, she never felt any connection with what was expected of her. Now she's left home to discover the world and her place in it. A simple enough task, she assumes, so long as she can keep her secrets secret and doesn't cause too much trouble along the way.

Rizzo is played by our lovely Kate Ingram.

i was looking back at this and realized I either forgot her scars when I made it, or that hadn't been canonized yet. Either way, i felt a mighty need to correct that, so I did. Kinda in love with how it looks, ngl

Painting practice from this weekend where I've been testing out some new ideas / techniques. It's not where i want it to be just yet, and you can see how i changed my mind drastically at one point in the process, but i feel like I'm learning some things which is entirely the point.

Lili doodle from the other day. I don't usually change her hair up too much, but I think the double braids is super cute. Also the background was pretty dang fun <3

(also figuring out how to depict her rainbow blushes is an interesting challenge XD)

So Rosatyrs on Threads wanted to get a Smartypants meme started with TTRPG characters, and it sounded like a lot of fun. We only released one of these over at Threads, but here's Lili's whole collection. Gonna see if we can't get a few other characters as well.

Really drug out my sailor moon lover for this one; really wanting to capture some of the elegant whimsy of Naoko's art style. Plus I've been really obsessed with Older!Lili lately. a bit older, a bit wiser (maybe) but still very much her happy-go-lucky self. Most of the time, anyway.

I haven't really done many landscape type backgrounds lately, either, which was both a challenge and extremely fun :D

Because I really need more OCs, have a necromancer and her, uhhh, extremely protective revenant (cough.) Still haven't decided if Del should be looking up at Tanja or not. Which do y'all think fits the vibe more? (vibe = feral sapphic creepfest)

Another in my sorta-series from last year of Senshi/Shitennou works, this time Mina (Venus) and Kunzite. Somewhat based on a much older doodle of R/J that was itself based on a meme, but I love the idea of her light based magic providing a glimmering shelter in the dark night.
