Soundrod vampire

They both are vampires but Soundwave emerged a vampire and Rodimus was turned into a vampire by force to be a weapon of war.

Soundwave saw him before he was turned and thought he was beautiful as the sun but the moment he saw him after being turned he compared Rodimus to the beauty of the eclipse and somehow that made the transformation not as hard in Rodimus optics.

They have a slow burn kind of love that lasts for millennia.

How would Lost Light Drift feel about Cyberverse Hot Rod. Especially when he learns he stabbed him and almost killed him.

Also if the Lost Light were even transported to the Cyberverse dimension. I just know Soundwave would immediately the second he saw Drift without hesitation punch him in the face.

soundwave’s punch wouldn’t land and Drift is cracking so many jokes about the terrifying communications officer being with roddy that it makes hot rod laugh and blush and man Soundwaves jealousy gets worse.

Drift is easy to reassure he’s in love with his own Rodimus and their conjunx Ratchet while Soundwave is just possessively holding Hot rod.

He thinks this Hot rod is a sweet heart and adorable. He’s happy he hasn’t been subjected to the torture his Rodimus knows.

Hot rod doesn’t tell him what happened until Drift asks but Hot rod says it’s cool and that looking back he understands why his Drift became a decepticon. The thing about hot rod/rodimus is yes he’s impulsive and stubborn but he can listen and he can understand others pov.

He tells Drift he shouldn’t feel bad at all since everyone has done something in their past and Hot rod even apologizes for not trying to find another way.

They would have a nice spark to spark.

1. Its said during a moment of passion when they think they’re both about to be offlined in a deadly explosion that will take everything out for miles surrounding it. They look into each others optics and say if together. They survive, but they wanted the other to know what they have is real.

2. Soundwave makes energon in the morning while Rodimus makes energon at night. Soundwave gets his peace and quiet and Roddy entertains the cassettes while cooking and giving Soundwave a moment to himself.

3. Roddy is an afternoon person while Soundwave is a night owl/before people wake up morning person. The moment he makes contact with people outside his home he’s angry and needs caffeine energon.

4. Soundwave is little spoon because he likes to rest his head on Roddy’s thick thighs and its painful for someone to be on Rodimus’s spoiler.

5. They both love it. Soundwave likes rodimus warm touch and Rodimus needs to feel Soundwave/hear his spark beating.

6. Since Rodimus has a fire outlier Soundwave cuddles up to him instead of the blanket since Rodimus is warmer.

23. Rodimus. He’s afraid of being forgotten and that soundwave will eventually realize he can do better & leave him.

25. Soundwave will cry but deny it and Rodimus hides his face the entire time because he doesn’t like crying.

26. They let it come out naturally after the war is long over. They’ve been conjunx for over a million years, conjunxed a bit before the war started and have been conjunx since. Their friends find out when they catch the two shopping together.

Springer coming back to Cybertron. He hasn't seen Hot Rod since the Ark left Cybertron and he has no idea he's in a relationship or that he's sparked.

Hot Rod is excited to see his friend and is waiting for him to land. When they finally see each other again the first thing Springer says to him is that he's gotten fat.

Everyone gasps and Soundwave punches him in the face. Which startles Springer who thinks the cons are attacking. Only for Soundwave to angrily attack him yelling about hurting his mates feelings and how beautiful he is carrying their sparkling and how dare he. Springer is just staring up at him in shock as multiple people have to pull Soundwave off.

Feisty Soundwave, poor Springer he was just having a numb bolt moment he didn’t mean to offend Roddy. But man is he in for it since Roddy will probably feel a little self conscious & thats gonna piss Soundwave off even more

Rodimus passing out.

Rodimus will pass out from not getting enough fuel or chronic burn out.

He grew up on Nyon where fuel was scarce and hard to come by and if a bot did come by it it wasn’t a lot nor was it healthy or tasted good.

He has a problem with remembering to fuel or fueling enough and when he does fuel its not nearly enough since his fuel tank is permanently shrunk from how little he consumed growing up.

Speedsters go through lots of energy which means they need either a lot of recharge or a lot of fuel. Since Roddy can’t/doesn’t intake a lot of fuel he needs as much recharge as he can get.

Problem is he doesn’t become he has bad recharge fluxes and never feels comfortable enough to recharge.

Drift has Ratchet to help feel at ease for a full nights recharge or multiple smaller recharges and sure Rodimus will recharge with Drift when the mech asks or simply falls asleep on him or next to him but Rodimus doesn’t recharge much on his own which is taxing to his frame and health.

Which is why he passes out quite a bit.

He can usually time it so its on his berth or in his office.

But eventually it happens at random near Megatron and Magnus who are about to call Ratchet only to hear Rodimus’s engine giving a tired rumble and they realize he isn’t recharging the way his frame needs.

Of course they can’t have their captain not recharging properly, sooo, now the crew has to get used to Megatron or Magnus with Rodimus in their lap asleep.

Its completely professional to check on him every few kliks and to hold him the way they do. Its completely work appropriate to lift his chin with their index and thumb digit to tilt his head up to see how tired he is when they walk into a room.

And it’s completely for the benefit of the crew when the two have Rodimus sleep in their berth to make sure he doesn’t have too bad a recharge flux and can sleep through the night.

Its not at all inappropriate to gaze lovingly at your captain when you think its just yourself and partner alone with no one else watching you as you kiss his helm and rub his spoiler.

Its for recharge purposes.

Its for Rodimus’s health so he doesn’t pass out, that’s the only reason, obviously.

Soundrod zombie apocalypse starts.

When the apocalypse starts they’re away from each other.

Soundwave is on another planet doing trade work while Rodimus is at home with Ravage, lazerbeak and their twins Rumble and Frenzy.

Rodimus tells Soundwave an outbreak happened and that a massive quarantine is in place and no one is allowed to leave their homes and the military above their factions have come to keep them indoors.

He tells Soundwave everything from groceries being delivered, to a strict curfew where no kids go to school, no bots but medics works and there’s to be mass silence so the military can offline the infected.

Soundwave tries to come back to Cybertron but no one is allowed in or out and they’re truly successful at it.

They have to wait apart from each other as an outbreak happens and can only see each other on screen.

Their government is working on a cure but anyone infected is executed immediately.

So its to Soundwaves horror when one day Ravage and lazerbeak report in a rush to Soundwave that some bots broke into the house and Rodimus was fighting them off while Frenzy and Rumble cry in the background.

Rodimus manages to kill them but at the cost of being bitten.

He tells Rumble and Frenzy he loves them even though they’re too young to understand. He tells Ravage and Lazerbeak he loves them and to protect his sparklings before looking to Soundwave with a teary smile and telling him he loves him and that he’a sorry and to enjoy every moment of their family for him.

Rodimus ends the transmission and seals up the house quickly before his resolve breaks. He breaks down in tears far from his home on a slow march towards the military so he can be killed.

By the time he makes it there he has his hands up, head down as he cries and tells them to shoot, he’s infected.

They tell him to stop and a solider checks his optics to see that yes he is infected but he should’ve turned by now.

They put a mouth guard on him and covers on his servos to keep him from infecting anyone else just in case.

They discover a mutation in the virus in his energon and while he’s been infected the virus isn’t turning him, he’s partially immune.

Meaning they can try working to find a cure as they try pumping the virus out.

Soundwave manages to sneak onto cybertron and he immediately goes to their sparklings, lazerbeak and ravage.

He takes them and goes on a hunt for Rodimus only to be captured by the military and brought to the lab they’re holding Rodimus in.

They stand outside the glass watching as he’s hooked up to machines and half in recharge from the amount of energon they took out of him that is slowly being replaced.

So far it seems this method is working and the scientists are using his energon to try making a cure. They even take energon from their twins and Soundwave to see if they have immunity.

While Soundwave is also partially immune it turns out their twins are completely immune to the virus and they now have hope of this virus being wiped out.

The only problem is one of the military personnel got infected and didn’t say anything because they hoped a cure would come in time and now there’s an outbreak in the military facility and they’ve put everything on lockdown.

Including the lab they need to make the cure.

Looking at some of Hot rods character it makes no sense he would become an autobot let alone a prime. But even when he does them making him some arrogant emotionless jerk who runs away & doesn’t care about other people is just wrong & doesn’t feel like him at all & makes people hate him even more since he’s the guy who killed optimus.

It sucks they do his character like that.

Soundrod headcanons

Rodimus thinks Soundwave won’t want him because of his promiscuous lifestyle but Soundwave surprises him by saying he’s known for a long time Rodimus likes to get around and have fun and it will never stop him from liking him, though he does have a few words to give on his choice of berth partners.

Rodimus likes to try out any kind of kink regardless of how uncomfortable he is with them and thats something Soundwave teaches him not to do. They use safe words, they have limits, they check in with each other and Rodimus is gaining a healthier approach to fragging instead of just taking anything to feel something.

Soundwave has a bad habit of isolating himself in work or just in general so Roddy lets him have plenty of alone time. He’s got it planned to let Soundwave have five hours of alone time every day before coming to sit with him for a moment to check on him before reassuring him with a gentle touch and helm press before leaving. Sometimes Soundwave likes him to stay other times he wants to be completely alone. Rodimus understands this perfectly because as much as people think he likes being around people and being the center of attention, the time alone really helps him to stop hiding his depression and just be numb without putting on a facade for awhile.

Soundwave has the facade of being cruel, necessary for when he was a decepticon, not necessary for when he and Rodimus are alone together. Rodimus has the happy go lucky, cocky attitude as a facade along with arrogance that he no longer has to wear when the two alone. He’s not a happy bot deep down but with Soundwave he’s learning to be at peace. With Rodimus, Soundwave is learning the same.

They both can say what they really feel without worrying about the other hating them for it. They voice their disagreements and how they really feel and know at the end of the day the other won’t leave them. They know they view things differently and they’re fine with that, they just don’t want the other hating them and that’s something they hope will never happen.

When its just the two of them, Soundwave isn’t the communications officer. Rodimus isn’t a prime nor captain. Soundwave is simply a mech who likes music and making/listening to music while Rodimus is a mech who enjoys painting/creating art in all kinds of different ways while listening to Soundwave, who enjoys watching the smaller mech paint.

After the Lost Light was taken apart and everyone went their separate ways. Ratchet never died.

Drift, Ratchet and Rodimus are all in a relationship. One day Rodimus is at a bar with Tailgate/ Cyclonus. They're catching up and talking about their relationships. Cyclonus makes a comment about how happy he seems. They are waiting for Drift and Ratchet who are late. Drift calls and tells them he just got a client who needed an emergency appointment because their loved one just died and they are a mess. Ratchet calls a few minutes later to say he has an emergency surgery and can’t make it.

They continue talking when Tailgate wants to dance. They offer for Rodimus to join them but he declines saying that he should get home. He orders one last drink for himself and doesn't realize someone spiked it until he starts feeling the effects. By this time it’s too late and he ends up getting taken. He wakes up in a hotel room and panics. He rushes home not even checking his comm.

When he gets home Ratchet is cold with him and doesn't want to let him in. He can tell both of his Conjunx are upset. He asks them what’s wrong and Ratchet shows him evidence of his cheating which was sent to them by an anonymous number. He quickly denies it and pleads with them to listen. They give him a drug test which shows nothing because the drugs are out of his system by now.

Both of them are angry. Roddy is still pleading with them to understand. At first Ratchet is the angriest and then Drift just snaps. Inner Deadlock comes out and he punches Rodimus so hard he falls to the ground. Yelling at him for betraying them. He attacks Rodimus and beats him until Ratchet decides he’s had enough and stops Drift. However he refuses him medical treatment. Rodimus, bleeding and terrified, is still pleading and ends up being kicked out.

He’s homeless for a little while still pleading with his Conjunx that he’s innocent. However they refuse to listen saying that what he’s done is unforgivable and to stop contacting them.

Rodimus finds any jobs he can to get himself off the streets. The jobs are a lot of hard work and Roddy thinks that’s why he feels sick all the time. Then one day he passes out and is taken to a doctor where he finds out he’s sparked and Ratchet and Drift are the sires.

He goes to call them and then stops. They blocked his number and said they didn’t want to talk to him ever again. He’s also afraid they would demand custody and take his sparkling away but the biggest reason is that he’s afraid of them. They hurt him and he doesn’t want to be in that position again because they could have killed his sparkling and he’s scared they will kill them if they find out.

Tailgate/Cyclonus find out what happened and they know Rodimus is innocent and they investigate. They prove to Drift and Ratchet that he wasn’t lying and was innocent the whole time.

Shocked, Drift and Ratchet decide to search for Rodimus apologize and bring him back home.

They way this pain hurts so much but man is it perfect!

They assume Rodimus did something because they already lacked faith & trust in him not to mention this solidifies what Rodimus already knew.

They never truly loved, trusted or wanted him.

The two of them needing someone other than their conjunx to tell them Rodimus is innocent is so mean and heart breaking.

They fall into a sadness knowing they pushed and ruined their conjunx who was telling the truth the entire time and even was assaulted!

He was assaulted and they weren’t there for him!

They beat themselves up so badly at the huge mistake they’ve made, especially Drift when he realizes he beat up Roddy who didn’t even try to fight back.

And them going looking for Rodimus only to find him months later leaving his new job as a painter, something he was always good at but liked keeping to himself, heavy with a sparkling in his tanks while carrying a bag of supplies and fuel.

The sight shocks them completely and they stand there spark frozen and speechless as the sun shines on him and his large round tank that makes him waddle.

They follow him to his new home. A nice area with neighborhoods in a place thats near a park but still quiet enough. Rodimus is unlocking his door when the two make themselves known by brushing his em field with sorrows and apologies only to be met with pain.

It practically kills them right then and there when they see the terrified expression on Rodimus’s faceplates as he turns around dropping his fuel and paint supplies.

His servos are protecting his tanks as he tries to back away from them shaking his helm, leaking a river from his optics at just the sight of them.

“Stay back!”

They don’t even get a word in as Rodimus almost buckles holding his tanks looking ready to collapse and go into emergence. Ratchet tries to run towards him only to be met with Rodimus’s fire burning him in warning.

“Get away from us! Come any closer and I’ll scream!”

Rodimus is venting so heavy and Drift feels coolant come to his optics much like Ratchet as Rodimus grabs his bags in a struggle and rushes tumbling into the house slamming the door locking it even using a bolt.

They can hear him leaking on the other side and all they can do is just stand there with shaky open servos that feel far too cold to belong to a living bot.

“What have we done…”

Drift isn’t sure who said it but he does know it was Ratchet who spoke after an hour of them standing there.

“..he almost went into stress induced emergence because of us…”

Its Drift who breaks the silence after another hour of standing there.

“They have to be ours…ratty…I..i beat him up..oh gosh…i-i could’ve killed them..i could’ve killed roddy and our sparkling..oh my gosh!”

Ratchet grips him to keep him from spiraling even though he himself feels like he’s dying inside at how cruel he was to his own conjunx.

“How do we fix this ratty? How?”

“I..i don’t know drift.. i don’t-i don’t know.”

Rodimus spends days inside his own home fearing for his sparkling and himself.

He can feel that Ratchet and Drift haven’t left his home once and its scaring him not knowing why.

He’s glad they don’t try and come inside but he still doesn’t want them anywhere near him or his sparkling and he needs to leave for his sparklings appointment but they’re still outside waiting for him.

So he does the next best thing.

He calls a co worker and friend of his to pick him up, explaining the situation they immediately come by with their shared group of friends…who happen to be former decepticons.

Seeing a loader full of former cons scares the heck out of the two especially when its dangerous cons they were lucky decided to leave the war instead of staying apart of it. They stroll right up to the door and go inside helping Rodimus to the loader completely blocking him from their view.

The two follow and find they took Roddy to a doctor appointment. The sight of rough huge former cons with multiple battle scars inside a small bright sparkling and carrier office was comical especially with the way they fawned over Roddy and his sparkling bump.

The two felt pain course through them as they realized once again just how much they’ve messed up and think to themselves once more.

What have we done and how do we fix this?

Eventually they corner Rodimus and get on their knees apologizing and eventually he listens to their apologies before telling them to leave.

He confirms its their sparkling and says they can see them when they emerge and help raise them but thats it.

It’s obvious roddy still loves them but that kind of hurt just doesn’t go away with an apology.

They vow to spend the rest of their lives making up for what they’ve done and winning him back and he tells them its no need because he doesn’t want that.

He just wants his sparkling to be safe and have a happy life and he wishes them the same but just not with him.

They refuse to give up though and they eventually do get Roddy back. They never let a day go by without Rodimus knowing he’s deeply loved

Rodimus having a one night stand with Drift and Ratchet who are ashamed of it and never want to talk about it. Roddy gets sick afterwards and realizes he's sparked.

He decides to tell Ratchet and Drift who tell him that he should give the sparkling to them because they'll be better parents. Ratchet thinks Rodimus will mess it up.

They keep demanding he gives them the sparkling and he keeps refusing. Then he finds out there taking him to court over this and gave gotten some of the crew to stand with them.

They go back to Cybertron because of all this and while in Cybertron he manages to get away. He realizes that if he can find another sire to rewrite the sparklings coding and become it's sire. They can't take the sparkling away because they have no claim to it.

So he starts looking around and decides to sleep with the first person who shows interesting. Who is surprisingly Soundwave.

He read his mind and knew what was going on and what he was looking for and wanted to help him out.

What he didn't expect was that after he got Rodimus in bed he didn't want to give him or the sparkling up. He fell in love with him and his beautiful mind and he joined the lost light. He made Rodimus feel special and taught him what it was like to be in a real relationship. He also stood up for him against Drift and Ratchet who weren't expecting Rodimus to find a different sire.

This hurt my heart but soundrod feels are nice but this crushed my dratchrod heart because the angst 😭 so good but so painful 😭
