The 21st century has had an effect on every surface and space on Earth. There are other more factors that are crucial to be aware of, even if littering and gasoline-powered vehicles are the two main sources of pollution.

The degradation of the earth's land surfaces, both above and below the surface, is referred to as "land pollution." Groundwater and soil contamination is the result of the buildup of solid and liquid waste. Municipal solid waste (MSW), which includes both hazardous and non-hazardous waste, is a common name for these waste items.
