Calm though he may seem, his horns almost immediately began to glow as soon as their eyes met.

He knew Nat was visiting that day, but rather than finding him in his office, she’d find him in the rare position of in his quarters in the middle of the day. Sigewinne had already visited with medicine.

“I got told in no uncertain terms that not likin’ cake is a crime, so don’t be surprised if y’see me on your to be arrested list.” Did she say that with a straight face? Barely but yes.

“Nah, she hasn’t gotten locked up yet. Won’t rule it out, though.” A smile and a shrug. “Apparently I’m her type, that’s all.”

The grin stayed on his lips as he kissed her back, softly and slowly. He was quite comfortable laying here with her, enjoying the warmth she naturally radiated.

"Me?" he asked against her lips. "I mean, you've been on my mind, too. Good thing I'm right here with you then, huh?"

Her eyes briefly closed at the feel of his hand in her curls. There had always been a sleepy sensual pleasure that accompanied her hair being brushed through. But at the permission to kiss him all she wanted her eyes refocused on him and she grinned in return.

"That's a dangerous thing t'offer me, sweetheart. I'm a bit greedy when it comes t'claimin' kisses from you." No surprise there considering she had always been open in her affection once given the sign that it was welcome.

"As for what's on my mind..." She kissed him again, lingering there for a time. When she did speak her voice remained soft and against his lips. "Just you."

"Who said anything about the law? Or are you feeling guilty?" He grinned up at her, reaching to run his fingers through her curls. "You're free to kiss me all you want. Just asking if something was on your mind."

She smiled impishly down at him, having yet to move off of him. Given how he had invited her there he clearly didn't mind and she was disinclined to move away. She liked the feeling of him close

An eyebrow rose, her tone just as playful. "Do I need an occasion now? Did that law come into play durin' one of the times I was outta Fontaine?" She kissed him again. "And if y'considered arrestin' me, remember we're outside of her borders now."

Wriothesley did spend plenty of time in the overworld, but it was almost always for work. So when he finally had time and Roxy mentioned she was going back to Sumeru for a few days, he tagged along.

Unlike some people he knew in Fontaine, he didn't really have a problem with the desert, and camping out under the stars filled him with a vitality he hadn't felt in a while. He was just laying by the fire they'd put out when he heard Roxy approaching. And suddenly there were her lips.

Wriothesley smiled against the kiss, welcoming her to climb on top of him and opening his mouth so their tongue could meet and they could taste each other. When she finally pulled back, he reached up and pulled her head back down into another, brief kiss.

"What's the occasion?" he asked, voice teasing.
