Welcome to Cryogenic Hopetown!

-The theme of this area is ‘hospital’. The sick and injured of Alterna came to this place for medical care-- in the worst cases, their bodies were frozen, in the hope that they might be revived in the future. A future that, ultimately, never came…

-There are lots of medical tools lying around: you can give Smallfry a checkup if you like. ^^ You don’t know much about Salmonid physiology, but he seems to be in good health.

-The outpatient garden is a great place to relax. It seems other animals have started living in Alterna too~

-In the hospital itself, you can find a biometric monitor to put on, and through it gain access to your ‘Wellness File’: a physiological/emotional observation record maintained by O.R.C.A. It will allow you to view Agent 3’s reactions to certain events and features of the environment– explore and interact with as much of Alterna as you can to fill the file~.

-In a lower collapsed floor of the hospital, you can still find some occupied cryogenic tanks. According to O.R.C.A., these people cannot be revived– energy imbalances as Alterna was destroyed disrupted their storage conditions, and at this point they have essentially been mummified. Still, the idea of waking them up and talking to them is interesting to think about.

-Wellness File ###: Elevated heart rate, elevated adrenaline levels detected Neurological signals indicate recognition and attention. Patient ‘Agent 3’ may be excited, surprised, or mildly disturbed.

-The hospital lobby contains a ‘crystal mirror’ that shows you your desires: happy scenes with trusted friends, playing on repeat. It’s a little embarrassing to watch, so you try not to hang around it.

-Wellness File ###: Muscle tension detected Neurological signals indicate evaluation and memory access. Patient ‘Agent 3’ may be ashamed, conflicted, or yearning.

I just want y’all to know that one time during lockdown I played a lot of Minecraft because I had nothing better to do and then later I was going to go into my room after a shower so I could go back to being a hermit but it was dark so I just thought “oop, can’t go in there, there’ll be skeletons spawning there and they’ll shoot at me”

And for LIKE FIVE WHOLE SECONDS I didn’t question it and I just turned on the lights and walked out into the living room to wait it out, just thankful I had my pajamas on already so I didn’t have to fight off the shooty skeletons in my dark closet where there might be some creepers too

And then all of a sudden I was like “Wait what the frig skeletons aren’t real” and then just went back into my room

And I think about that a lot. So if ANY OF YOU dare to think that I have any more than three and a half braincells on a really good day, just please remember this and know that you are sorely mistaken

you wake up in a New York subway, and next to you is Clint Eastwood. both of you remember nada. but you find a gun.

You walk through the subway and find a phone that only speaks in "2kool4skool" slang from the 90s-2000s. Who says "find me these things" and then forces you to do gym class all over again. So you can escape and get a job at a local bodega. You then get a call from Megan Thee Stallion and the daughter of Dior, who decided to pursue rapping because the daughter of Dior is a nepo baby who can't face proper consequences. Those two decide to help you by stealing money from someone's (diors) credit card account.

A few gym classes later, you find these things. It turns to be an industrial meatgrinder. And before it turns on, a bodega worker who is sometimes Skrillex ends up saving you and Clint Eastwood.

After that, you work through the empire state building, only to learn that the phone is ALLIED MASTERCOMPUTER from I HAVE NO MOUTH AND I MUST SCREAM. WHO IS GOING TO WIPE AWAY ALL OF HUMANITY USING THE STATUE OF LIBERTY

Thank god dior nepo baby and megan thee stallion have helicopters that can fire bombs filled with melted popsicle syrup. Which you will shoot up with your gun. Then you become a roommate to aperson who is always studying and doesn't know what kpop is.
