Ancen Evendin, 23. “Diplomat” & Pilot. Ancen grew up on Honest Dealing, which explains a great deal of her damage. Also, her determination to prove herself as more than just the ship’s baby, especially since she’s not the youngest on board anymore. She discovers the beacon from Earth… and a whole lot of trouble.

Glass, 29. Co-Pilot. A recent hire, still learning the ropes. He’s painfully awkward and not in a funny way. It’s taken a while for him to get used to anyone on the crew, but the moment he does, he gravitates towards them like they’re a black hole. 

Tine Bishop, 21. Medic. An actual fucking genius and a total hellion. He knows all of the best places to hit in Emeiter, mostly because his dear old dad was the captain of a rival vessel before the mutiny that brought him over to Honest Dealing, looking for work and a place where everyone didn’t want to kill him.

Willa Rush, 30. Gunner. Brought into the fold by Isolde after Willa saved her life planetside, Willa is very much team mom. She’s always looking out for everyone and always willing to help out, no matter if that means moving furniture or butting a bullet into someone. She’s not picky, just protective.

Isolde Sunrise, 48. Captain. Won the Honest Dealing in an auction when the ship was nothing but a hunk of junk. She cleaned it up, hired Kain Evendin to get things working, and made herself something of a mini-empire. There’s no smuggler more well-respected among the Monolith.

Kain Evendin, 46. Mechanic. Was very much a down-and-out single father when Isolde rolled up on him, looking for someone to fix her new ship. After that, he settled down into the comfortable position of a smuggling ship’s mechanic. There’s always something to fix - a new hole to patch, upgrades to install, lives to save or destroy.

The Thornes are not what they used to be.

Derrick Thorne ruled Peria and his people loved him, mourn for him and the queen years after the massacre that took their lives.

Derrick’s son and his successor, Loren, is respected, but doubted. The thought of a king with no heirs and no queen is certainly whispered of more often than not.

Maeve Thorne (née. Stone) was exactly what a queen should be. Honest and true, but firm and a skilled strategist.

Born from Targyll, Maeve knew the truth of nobles in Meraine, and how to tread lightly. Her son, Lucan, inherited her looks and her brains, her strength, but he inherited none of her heart.

For many reasons, the brothers are loved. They are the only surviving members of the Thornes, but in many ways, they are disliked for their lack of responsibility.

Unless one of them produces or claims an heir, the monarchy will die out. And the possibility of that is far too great.

tv land: crystal chronicles  — introducing the wip

genre: urban fantasy type: single book pov: 3rd person status: 0k words, still planning and plotting things before starting to write main themes: discovering themselves, saving the world while having fun, finding back what was lost includes: (elemental) magic, lgbt+ characters, humanized tv channels, a mother goddess that loves too much what they created and has a stong affinity with crystals, a bunch of references to japanese things

summary

tv land is a country parallel to our earth, where humanized tv channels live, ruled by diantha, the mother goddess. it was a peaceful place until the humanization of history and the one that writes down anything that happens in the country, hershel hearst declares war to diantha, promising to delete the entire history of tv land. he’s under the influence of ignatius delaney, the humanization of investigation discovery and one powerful demon that with the excuse of realizing dreams, they make people sign contracts that turn whoever signs them one of their minions.  diantha then decides to pick four young people to save what they created and gives them special crystals that allow them to use elemental powers. those people are gérard voltaire, the humanization of game one, a quite popular anime and videogame reviewer on youtube; his younger sister joséphine voltaire, the humanization of j-one, a cutesy young woman whose love is anime; georgiana “george” gray, the humanization of ginx esports tv, a professional dota2 tournaments caster whose past seems to be mysterious and nathanaël noyer, the humanization of nolife, a passionate and helpful young man that really loves japanese things, especially rhythm games. those four are best friends and the mother goddess picked them believing that they could have the force to save all. ayla, diantha’s favourite angel, is sent to them to keep an eye on what they do.  in one long, epic adventure, our heroes will find new friends, and enemies. and they will discover more about them. but the question is: they will save hershel from the hands of ignatius and with that, save tv land?

INTRODUCING –––– SYLVESTRAL 

MARISELA has always believed in ghosts. it’s as natural as breathing and quite a bit more fun. when she’s not in class, she’s writing about them. see, her mother always puts her interests first and money just isn’t an object. it’s a simple matter to travel to haunted sites, investigate their stories, catalogue them on a blog that’s becoming quite popular these days. 

CLAIRE thinks the whole thing is bullshit, naturally. even growing up in new england, even hearing the stories her entire life, even with what she knows she’s seen in the woods – even if she lies to herself about it. when her father encourages her to show the ghost hunter from california around the state during her summer break, she’s more than reluctant. but it isn’t like she really has anything else planned except maybe relaxing for a change. 

VERMONT has its share of secrets and it keeps them well. a person can only follow so many of the dirt roads, can only discover so much of what is hidden. you grow up with superstition if you’re born there. you don’t go into certain parts of the woods after dark, you pay the trees respect, you pretend you didn’t see the shadowy figure leering out at you from the shattered window in the abandoned house. had that house always been there? no. yes. only the townsfolk could tell you, but they have secrets of their own and their sullen eyes follow your every move. 

THE GIRLS find much more than they bargained for in the clinging humid heat of a vermont summer. mari thought that belief would be enough to sustain her. claire thought that denial would be enough to save her. the trees, and the things among them, couldn’t care less.

Hello Lovelies

  Hello!  My name’s Lillian, I’m fifteen, and I’m homeschooled.  I’m fairly new to tumblr and, especially, writeblr.  

  I’ve been writing since two Septembers ago and I love it to death tbh, basically all I do is write, (despite the fact that I procrastinate way too much for my own good,) haha.  I enjoy reading, writing, organizing, and listening to music.  My favorite genre to read is fantasy, historical, fanfics, and Chinese novels.  I mostly write a variety of YA such as Historical, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Mystery, and others (I’m sorry to my forgotten books lol).  I also dabble in short stories every once-in-a-while.  My current wip is a YA fantasy book called Witchy Wonder.  I’m probably only going to post excerpts and just for fun scenarios from it tho.  

  I would love to interact with other writers and people in general as I really don’t have any friends irl cries so feel free to talk to me and make me do challenges lol

  Oh yeah, I also have very low self-esteem and I’ve read over this a million times already and will come back to make sure my grammar is ok a million more times.

Writeblr Intro

I’m Angelica. Unfortunately, my Writeblr is a side blog. My main blog is crimson–edge (it’s about pro-wrestling). I have a BA in English (Creative Writing). And a BS in Geology.

I’ve been writing since I could hold a pen. My first story was about a boy unicorn that saw a girl unicorn and they fell in love and got married. It was about a note card and a half long.

I wrote an entire novel while in the fourth grade. Obviously, it was terrible, but a lot of the themes and character concepts persist in my current writing.

My main WIP is Dark Blood. It’s about “vampires” resurrecting their Dark God to take over the world. It’s fun.

I also have a story about a mage and his boyfriend simultaneously saving and destroying their kingdom.

And the aftermath story about a bard/mage and her party of misfits cleaning up their goddamn mess.

There’s some other story about a wizard with a magic badger and a knight with a squire and also there’s fairies.

So I have a definite fantasy/sci-fi/horror theme going on.

Hilarki; name origins - Basque; meaning - moon

Hilarki has grown up knowing she is part of something greater. She was born into a high-ranking position of an underground society, whose sole purpose is to keep the secrets of Amnexia safe from those who would destroy it.

Their work is vital. As a diviner tasked with using her magic to peer into the future, Hilarki knows this better than most. But even still, she can’t help but want more. She wants to see the world, as much of it as she can reach. She longs to toss off the weight of responsibility, and have an adventure.

But when just such an adventure comes along, she may not be ready for all that comes with it.

Advice for you guys I 100% believe.

Literally, you can get almost anything you want if you absolutely refuse to give up.

Someone won’t publish your book? Literally, refuse that. Keep marketing and sending it around. Refuse.

Stephen King did that. Now, look at him. So many others did that.

Literally, do not lie down. Determination is your best friend. Think you can’t finish your book? Literally, refuse to give up.

This can be applied to any job. Any goal. Any aspiration. I’m going to be that one writer that literally won’t take a no for an answer.

Respectfully, I will keep moving. Keep asking different publishers. Someone will want your book.
