i think that their lack of championships has like, underrated just how special the sedins were. bc, lots of nhl fans watch their teams have amazing duos and players, but two people who played their entire *lives* on a line together is just such a unique brand of chemistry that i don’t think will ever be seen in pro sports again. in hockey you can have players who were teammates in junior and then get reunited years later in the nhl, or players who join an nhl team as rookies together and play their whole careers there, but to have two guys who grew up playing together, then got drafted to the same NHL team on the same day, and spent twenty years there playing together is just?? like that is CRAZY and i am so proud that it was my team that this happened on
