so, and please forgive me if you've already stated this I don't mean to dreg up old things that have already been said; from what I understand you're taking a break from updating the Chill Out AU on here/AO3 until/if you,,,get back into the JSAB fandom??? Again, sorry if you've already said this in the Hiatus updates, I just wanted double clarification....

I actually got back into the JSAB fandom... but I still didn’t have ideas for Chill Out.

This blog is on indefinite hiatus, but I’ll probably try to finish the last few chapters of the fic on AO3 over the summer.

Hiatus Update!

While I’m unsure if I’ll be able to come back to this askblog any time soon, I’d like to confirm that Chill will be a canon character in @glitched-out-shapes!

As will Melanie, Howl, Chiptune, and Code!

For those of you who miss the adventures of Chill and his blossom friends, I’m pleased to announce that they’ll appear in Chapter Three of the Glitch Realms AU!

Sunshine may even appear as a background character!

About that Hiatus...

I’m starting to slowly drift out of the JSAB fandom. At first, I had no other fandoms to go to, but now I’m really getting interested in Hollow Knight, and I feel like that’d be better, somehow??

Since my JSAB experience has been a bit... upsetting. I admit, a lot of the latter issues were mostly my fault, but also due to miscommunication and just plain overreaction. But admittedly, it’s left me with such a bad impression that I can’t really... enjoy working on this blog. It’s not 100% canon compliant, but this entire blog is built on a network of crossovers and stuff... it feels like I lost control of the events, and it’s been so long that I don’t think I can fully return to this blog...

I’ll still be active on @glitched-out-shapes and @astralfeathers-hollow... not sure about @frostbitten-figures.

Really, the only reason why I have so much drive to work on Glitch Realms is because honestly... at this point is so far from canon JSAB, and I’ve incorporated so many of my original ideas and plots that it feels like my own story. Plus, I’m working on it with a friend, so it’s really cool... Seriously, go check it out. I can assure you, it’s better than this blog. It’s fully illustrated and has been planned out in advance for a few months.

As for Frosbitten Figures... I had a ton of ideas for it, but it’s also pretty close to canon, and I want to get the okay from the person I was working on it with to continue it. I have several stories written out for future events on that blog, and if they wish to continue it, I’d be happy to oblige. It’s up to them, really. I’d feel...  kind of bad to keep working on something that was originally their idea if they didn’t want anything to do with it. But we’ll see how that plays out.

Overall, I’d rather focus on original content the most right now. So out of all the projects I’m working on, I’ve decided that @cyan-cat-dubstep has to be set aside for now.

I apologize, but this hiatus, as of now, is going to be considered indefinite. I’ll post some sort of “ending” to the blog’s story soon. Maybe I’ll return in the future, but for now, don’t keep your hopes up.

It was fun while it lasted. This was my first askblog experience, and while I didn’t do everything with the skill of my inspirations, I had a lot of fun! I hope you guys enjoyed it.

I just thought I’d post a formal goodbye, since you seem to still be following now that it’s inactive. Sorry for the inconvenience. I’ve gone through and tagged everything properly, so you can read the whole story in chronological order from the beginning...

*Squog got off of Chill* Squog: Sorry!

“That’s alright, pup!”

*Squog came up to Chill* Squog: HEWWO CHILL! *He tackled him to the ground and started licking his face*

Chill screamed, startled. For a moment, he flashed a toxic pink hue, shaking.

Chill: “Stop, you’re gonna get corrupted! Please, keep your distance, kid!”

Anix: he’s not duct taped chill.... more so attached to it than anything, I think something similar happened to Tio

Chill: “Tio’s got one, too? Yeah, you guys can keep that to yourselves. I like being mortal.”

anix: *laughs* i'm not a phantom beat dont worry, still a living breathing tree beast with a fear demon attached to my core

Chill: “You’ve still got Illusion duct taped to your core?”

Blixer: *picks chill upnin a hug* irsnok kiddo it really is

He backed away, shaking.

Chill: “I’m still sorry... after you left, I tried to forget you. I couldn’t handle the thought of you being gone...”

He sighed.

“You sure you’re not a Phantom Beat or something?”

Ace: "don't worry, this is my usual outfit i wear to work in my worlds adventurers guild" *is wearing auric tesla armor, and a exoblade on his back* "I'm able to put my exoblade in my piggy bank if you want me to" (btw, terrarian piggy banks are strange)

Chill: “Uh... I have no idea what you just said, but okay...”

Ace: *strolls right in, with his exoblade ready to be used immediately if a battle happens, AS ALWAYS* "heya, how are ya doing?"

Chill: “Buddy... there’s nothing going on. No more fighting, please... My life just got back to normal.”

Blixer: I didn’t die, my dimension reset

Chill hugged him, shaking.

Chill: “I’m sorry I stopped looking. I’m sorry I gave up on you. I’m sorry...”

He seemed to be just a bit taller than before, but upon closer inspection, it was because he was floating a bit to better reach Blixer.

Blixer: *waks inside with a presenr* yo

Chill: “No no no no... Howl said you’d DIED.”

Blixer: that anyone to treat ya big red brother?

Chill: “Uh... excuse me..? Who is this? This better not be a prank.”

Blixer: *sighs* alright this better be the right address.... *sighs and knocks on the door to chill’s home*

Chill: “This is the residence of DJ Fresh-Beats... my door is always open... so just come on in. If you’re tryin’ to mug me, I’ve got lasers.”
