If I may ask, what are your policy for fanwork of your visual novels (not for commercial use)? Do you allow it? If you do, would it be okay to post it online with credits? I really love your works and would like to show some appreciation, but if it's not okay, I don't want to cross your policy. Thank you very much.
We not only allow it, we love it! Totally ok.

Auro and I both worked on this game with our good friend Laiska! Give it a shot if you like our stuff~
The road is long. Two strangers sit side by side as night falls over. The car speeds down the open highway. Without a soul around them, everything seems to slip away. On a journey to no one knows where, all they have is words and time. And that time is dwindling fast. The shadows are chasing.
The Shadows That Run Alongside Our Car is a visual novel by Lox Rain. Shadows was made over the course of four days during mid-August 2016 and was released August 19, 2016. The game features two character routes and six endings. Recommended for ages 15 and up. Made with love and Ren'Py.
Shadows is pay-what-you-want, but you can download the game for free.
Content Warnings: mentions of suicide, killing, and violence, explicit language.
All the info and downloads are here on itch.io!
Lox Rain consists of Lorelei (Writing/Main Coding), Laiska (Writing/Editing/Sprite Coding), and Auro-Cyanide (Art/UI). For more information about the individual contributors, please follow the above links. You can also find us on Twitter at yandere, petitscygnes, and AuroCyanide.
We’ll be tracking the #shadowsVN tag on Tumblr/Twitter! Enjoy!

Starting today, Break Chance Memento (BCM) is permanently 25% off at $14.99 USD. (note: we don’t plan on putting the game into any bundles until at least one year after release, so starting this December)
BCM is primarily a story about family bonds across time and involves time travel, tracking down a serial killer, and potential gay romance. It is plot-heavy rather than romance-heavy and can be classified as slice of life, boys’ love, and science fiction. It contains at least 6 hours of gameplay, including parts where the player explores the city of Nagasaki to look for items and time travels to solve the mystery at the core of the plot. We give the game a 15+ rating due to violent/horrific imagery and writing.
Buy it or download a demo here on itch.io! This sale price isn’t reflected on Steam yet, but should be in the coming days. In the meantime, everyone who buys BCM on itch.io will receive a Steam code, so you can do that if you want to have the game on Steam.
We also released Where We Lay Our Scene ($4.99) back in early May if you want some more recent stuff from us! Thank you so much for your support of our work.

A chance of a sequel to Break Out Memento? Pretty Please?
There isn’t going to be a game sequel, unfortunately, but since the characters are basically my OCs anyway, I’m planning on writing more stories about them! Those will just be prose, though.

Is there a walk through for Where We Lay Our Scene.I've been trying to get rainier and Oliver but always get neutral ending.
If you check the Tumblr tag there’s a semi-complete walkthrough! I think it’s just missing Sacha.

Hiya! WWLOS is just pure gem! The banters and the backgrounds... hnnnngh! -ahem- anyways, I have trouble getting into lovely Sacha's routes...I'd be grateful for any pointers please?
Thank you so much!! With Sacha you want to pick choices related to food and that show Christian to be humble and understanding.

Version 1.1 has just been uploaded to fix a critical error that comes up during the neutral ending of version 1.0. Once you get it, it may become impossible to play the rest of the game. You should be able to download the updated game version or the update patch from your My Purchases page on itch.io. If you don't wish to download the whole game again, we've also provided a much smaller 1.1 patch file. Just make sure you follow the instructions and please let us know if there are any more issues!
Where We Lay Our Scene (WWLOS) is a visual novel developed by Cyanide Tea for NaNoRenO 2016. Auro-Cyanide did the art and graphic design while Lorelei handled writing, programming, and sound coordination.
The game features four character routes (varying genders and sexualities) and has 13 different endings. The game is commercial and is distributed via itch.io for $4.99. The game should take at least 6-8 hours to finish, on average.

Christian Marino has become a household name, what with his face and body always visible when you open a magazine or look out your subway train window. But now famous model Christian Marino finds himself at a crossroads. What will he do with his life once his well-known and much-cherished looks fade? Is there even anything more to him below the surface that everyone else sees? As he considers these issues of future and identity, he’s suddenly cast as the lead role in a film based on a bestselling novel. With fresh new challenges to face in an unfamiliar environment, this just might be the solution Christian was looking for—to more problems than one.
The main theme for this game is crossroads. Rather than having “good” and “bad” endings, each love interest has a friendship ending as well as romantic “A” and “B” endings. Neither romantic ending is meant to be better than the other.
For more information about the game and to download the demo or purchase the game, please see the official website.
The game costs $4.99, but if you’d like to leave us a tip, we’d really appreciate it! Comments, criticism, and cookies are all very welcome! There is also a survey you can fill out after finishing a route, which will provide us with important feedback that we’ll use for our future projects. We hope you enjoy our game!

Note
Will the game be available on steam, for players who use a different currency than dollars?
Thank you so much for your interest! We will be launching a Steam Greenlight campaign for the game soon, but can’t guarantee whether the game will make it onto there, of course. :’D

Is paypal the only way to purchase your new game? If so, do you have any plans to add more purchase options in the future? The demo was a lot of fun, I hope I can play the rest soon!
Thank you so much for giving the demo a try!
We originally disabled Stripe payments because of some issues with people making fraudulent purchases of one of our other games. We've re-enabled it for now, but may take it down again if the same problems arise. For the time being, Stripe (aka direct by credit/debit card) and PayPal are the only ways to buy Where We Lay Our Scene.

I just finished playing Break Chance Memento!!I loved it and I have I say amazing job I can't wait to play the next games you guys come up with!! I have a couple questions lol When I was pursuing Chiaki and Yukinari it was hard for me to tell who was the "Top" and who was "Bottom". Also how did Fukuyama die?
Thank you so much! ;w; We really appreciate that you liked the game. WWLOS should be out very soon! I don’t really believe in hard tops or bottoms—people like to switch things up sometimes—but in general I’d say that Shuuki tops Chiaki, but Yukinari tops him. :’D
Also I have no idea who Fukuyama is, I’m sorry. ;;

This is a concept I have in mind for the main/player character for Honey & Hemlock. She is the daughter of an Empress and a Queen in her own right. She is by far the most powerful character in the game. Sounds like fun right?
Honey & Hemlock will be an otome game about a Queen, her husband and her lovers.

This is just a test, I haven't actually figured out where I want to go w/ the art direction yet for Honey & Hemlock. So far all I've got is Solar Punk, Art Nouveau, maybe kinda watercolour???
Also thinking a more traditional otome style since it feels like foooooooorever since I've done something like that. And ridiculous outfits because why the fuck not at this stage.
