Ups and Downs
Last month was full of highs and lows. The highs were great! However, the lows made me second guess myself. One person told me recently that success breeds success and major funders only seem to invest in organisations who have been around for many years.   This doesn't help social entrepreneurs like myself who have spotted a gap and who is defining a new pathway and building a unique business model.  I just need people to support this idea and get it off the ground, by which time, to be become self sustaining business.
And I totally get it there will always be ups and downs in business and life. its just what lessons you learn from it.

True entrepreneur vs Circumstantial entrepreneur
There’s a difference between the two. The true entrepreneur was always entrepreneurial. At a young age they were probably thinking out of the box when it comes to making money. From doing a paper round, cleaning neighbours cars to selling sweets at school. They were not relying on pocket money from their parents. Also, as they got older their risk level is a little higher than most. That’s why they can see opportunity when most can’t.
Now the circumstantial entrepreneur is slightly different. They may not have thought about running their own business in the past. But maybe the people they have been around or a particular opportunity has inspired them to pursue that venture. And now they can see the possibilities that entrepreneurship gives you.
So, which one are you?

Frustration, Passion and Financial independence
The are 3 reasons Why? 1) The frustration I've been feeling since I've been unemployed for some time. I am a very proactive and productive person. Unemployed doesn't suit me lol. 2) My Passion! If you know me personally you would know that I'm a self proclaimed 'foodie'. I love food. Especially eating out at new restaurants and trying new cuisines. I'm in my element. 3) To gain financial independence. And by that I don't mean a billionaire. I just mean a successful business that I can support myself and my family :)

Location Location Location
So finding the right premise is not as easy as I first thought. South London is a huge area. And I need Cyber Sector to be in the right part and the right size. Commercial property renting is slight different from residential. Many more things to consider like does it have all the relevant licenses? Do it have good foot traffic? Will it need a lot of work to get it to my standard? Safe to say I've got a lot of things to consider.

Why? The mission.
So I turned the big 30. And I've suddenly realised I need to find my purpose. This purpose had to be something I could call my LEGACY. Yes, I know it sounds very melodramatic. But I really wanted to create something 1) I could call my own and 2) would help others. I have been unemployed for sometime. And I felt I was in a bubble, that I wanted to get out of. So once 2017 started I began a mental journey of what's next? I'm a foodie I love restaurants, cafes and the social aspect of eating out. I thought about using my Teaching background to create a space for children and parents. But then I saw there was an opportunity with Coworking spaces. Right now people are starting their own businesses or just thinking about it. But Coworking space can be expensive for someone starting out. I thought to myself, I wonder if I could make a Coworking Costa? I threw myself into the research. And I came a across a few FREE Coworking spaces. Campus London which is googles space for entrepreneurs. It's free and they sell fresh coffee and food in their cafe. There are a few others just like that. But the question was how am I going to make this a business? I don't have GOOGLE money. Also, I've never done business. But I do love learning, problem solving and being creative. Cyber Sector gives me purpose. It combines my love for food, socialising and networking all under one roof. So here is my mission. And I do accept! Create a free Coworking Cafe in the heart of South London. Helping people to network and build on their ideas, so that they can pursue their passions.
