I waited 10 years to take this photo.

Lightning in the SF Bay Area is pretty rare; it happens maybe once a year. When it strikes it is not in the right place, chosing to be behind the hills or blocked by trees. And sometimes it is raining which is not good for the camera. And what makes it even more difficult is that by the time I grab my camera, the show is over.
