Ridiculous head canon time

Super smashing fighters is a knock off of Smash Bros, so other parodies must exist, which means a knock off of Minecraft likely does too.

If that's the case, that Tenna possibly knows about said Minecraft knock off. Depending on how far you want to take this head canon, Herobrine could also exist in the game by default, leading to the possibility of the two interacting.

Also this got me really thinking anon so I'll expand on your ridiculous headcanon below the cut

Technically, Deltarune has their own version of popular Internet culture (e.g. Cyber World and Queen using internet slang), right? So, technically your headcanon of Deltarune having their own Minecraft version isn't that farfetched. They could even have their own version of Creepypastas, and that would mean they have their own versions of the video game Creepypastas we have. This means there could potentially be a Herobrine knock off somewhere in the Internet space of the Deltarune universe.

Now, with video games, people would make toys from these games, and we can assume they would also make toys for the Minecraft knock off, too, and we can assume it would also be popular in Deltarune. So, the Deltarune version of Steve and Alex toys would probably exist. Maybe they'd be monster-ified or maybe they'd be humans, depends on how Minecraft would be created here.

With all that in mind, imagine a scenario where Tenna gets given to someone who has a kid. This kid is a fan of Minecraft and happens to know about Creepypastas from unsupervised screentime on their parent’s device. This leads to them finding out about Herobrine and getting fixated on him cause two of their favorite things combined? No way! Eventually, this leads to the kid making their own Herobrine toy by painting the eyes of their Steve toy white. Then, the kid eventually plays with their toys in front of the TV, Tenna, and accidentally leaves their toys in front of him when they go to bed.

So, by the time the lights are out and its time for the Darkners to shine (heh), the toys end up getting their own Darkner counterpart, which leads to the Herobrine toy getting his own Darkner counterpart, who is exactly like his Creepypasta, and what do you know! Tenna is also there! They get to interact now! Wow!

I think the toys would end up becoming Tenna's contestants and they would participate in it. Herobrine would probably end up winning (cause I'm biased) and Tenna would give him a prize! Woah! Generally, I think they'd get along.

some of my favorite parts of herobrine lore is like… the really odd inexplicable creepy stuff that can happen in ur world

like x- or y-coordinates that just won’t grow crops no matter what

x- or y-coordinates that immediately grow crops no matter what

nether portals that are extinguished when you get to them even though you’re sure you lit them

burnt out redstone torches

caves that have a torch but still won’t light up

like i know none of these are intrinsically herobrine but when you put them together under that umbrella they seem really strange
