I love how mental illness is stigmatized even in the field of psychology. Like every therapist i have had so far has told me to just fake it til I make it. Like i had to pay how much money for these dudes to be like just yknow pretend like you're happy and you'll be fine. Oh and the one literally told me that once i went off to college my depression would be cured and would no longer be traumatized

It's funny i used to wish to stop cutting, wish for the strength to not cut open my skin. And now tonight im wishing, praying to anyone, to give me the strength to cut again. Im sitting here on the verge of relapsing after 9 months. And i see on here how people have relapsed after 2 years of being clean. And I wonder how im supposed to make it out of this without cutting if these people have gone years without and they still relapse. Is there even a reason to try and stay clean when clearly im just going to end up relpasing sooner or later?
