Just a small corner of the internet dedicated to everyone's favorite Disney duck, Donald Fauntleroy Duck. Here will be found facts, trivia, images and fan-made love.
Hey, duck fans, this June I wanted to focus on Donald Duck himself and the different ways we see him. He’s not quite the same in cartoons as he is in comic books. Join me for a look.
Okay, I have no idea why I can’t post links to my videos anymore but I just uploaded a new video to my Youtube. This month we’re taking a look at an older video game hearkening back to the ol’ Disney 90s, Maui Mallard.
So season 3 is just a month away, that’s awesome! However, when the Disney Twitter posted the announcement, I’m starting to realize that this season might be an even bigger angst/tearjerker than the previous two combined.
Why do I say that?
Because I feel like Donald is going to either be left behind or leave his family behind.
I mean, look at the poster:
And now look at this Twitter post:
In all honesty, I hope Donald just leaves, because as un-family-friendly as the lesson might be: sometimes even family can weigh you down, and the best choice has to be for your sake.
Donald has done a lot of sacrifice, and ends up trapped on an island while everyone thinks he was on a cruise.
You know the first thing the blue triplet said to him in the season 2 finale?
“YOU OWE ME 12 YEARS OF TURBO!”
If that doesn’t tell you how much Donald’s love has been taken for granted, then I don’t know, because that was hard to hear the first time.
And let’s be honest, the highlight of season 2 was when he was with his buddies Jose and Panchito (and the Darkwing Duck episode). That had been the happiest we’ve seen Donald in the last two seasons. After that, it all went straight down to Hell...
So disagree with me if you want, but if they keep putting Donald down this path, I might have emotional issues with the series enough to not want to watch it for a while (I’m weird yeh).
Hey, duck fans, come listen to my first “Pond-cast”! This particular topic I felt deserved more consideration than a structured script could give, so here’s my first attempt at a podcast-style video.
Oh, boy, duck fans, I hope this video turned out all right. I’ve had to change the way I produce and edit videos and I am not entirely sure I like how this one turned out.
Anyway, for Donald Duck’s 85th Priemere Anniversary I wanted to take a look at his heritage! Here we’ll find out where exactly our dear duck is from.
