457 + Razgrom
One evening, an idea came to my mind: what if the universes of the film Major Grom and the series Squid Game were combined? I think it could turn out to be something really interesting. Gi-hun is a charismatic yet tragic fighter for justice, much like Sergey Razumovsky: a philosophy of people's vengeance, captivating speeches, a casual style — even the red hair is there. In-ho is a police major in a leather jacket, like Igor Grom — cold, restrained, insightful, acting strictly by the law, but hiding a personal drama. Against the backdrop of an unnamed city in a grim neon-noir aesthetic, the streets are plastered with posters bearing the squid symbol, a looming revolution, moral conflicts, and shadows of the past between the two characters.
Plot concept:
Gi-hun (in the role of Razumovsky)
A former system worker betrayed by reality — he witnessed how it destroys people and drains everything from the poor.
Unlike the original Razumovsky, Gi-hun is driven not by revenge, but by pain and compassion. However, his methods grow increasingly radical.
His public image is that of an inspiring people's hero, but he is slowly losing control — over both himself and the situation.
In-ho (in the role of Grom)
A police officer upholding order, but torn from within: he understands Gi-hun, and they share a past.
Unlike the bold and headstrong Grom, In-ho is more of a shadow, an observer — a "Front Man" with a mission to contain chaos, yet he's also on the edge.
His battle is not only against crime but with himself, with guilt — perhaps for not stopping it all earlier.
🧠 Moral conflict: In-ho believes in the system because he has become a part of it — but deep down, he’s just as disillusioned as Gi-hun. Gi-hun wants to destroy the system because he believes it is beyond repair.
Between them lies more than just ideology — there’s history. Perhaps a chance meeting, a fleeting moment of friendship. In-ho hunts the people's avenger, unwilling to believe it could be the naive but radiant Gi-hun. Yet the evidence tells another story.
