(Im far too injured to draw something well atm so imma just answer this raw lol) Grimm sees the anons as a manifestation of Pure’s subconscious. They are hallucinations, intrusive thoughts, and longings. Grimm does not see them as people or as things to entertain. He does not like or respect them at the moment, mainly becuase he views them as a fleeting thing. As a removable thing. This might change with time though.

So what exactly is Grimm and Hollow's relationship? Sorry if is this a dumb question I'm just wondering.

I was gunna draw for this but every time I thought about the idea it kept turning into a full length comic, so imma try and keep things simple. This might have a few tiny spoilers for their history, so I’ll put it under a line

In short terms, their relationship can be described as unrequited love. Last time Grimm checked (literally) Pure viewed love as an all consuming all destructive force. This was during their palace days. Pure saw it as a very negative thing (due to what happened during an idea instilled) and Grimm passively accepted that, kept Pure company and protected them from bad thoughts for a while, then went on to do their own stuff due to the nightmare heart. 

While Grimm was a cordial flirt and safe presence, Pure did not see Grimm as a love interest, nor did they see Grimm as a protector. They viewed Grimm as an exotic element of chaos that the King had no care for, so Pure decided to do their best to not think about Grimm much. That said, it’s rather difficult to not think about the man that visits you in your dreams and stares at you with eyes filled with emotions you don’t know. This au is set far from those palace days, and since then Grimm has changed a lot physically, while Pure has changed a lot mentally. Hopefully that answers your question without too many spoilers!
