dear fam, please try to understand if ever i make a decision that in the surface looks dumb. please be gentle if i jump from one dream to another. i am not aimless. i am in search for a place where i should rest my soul.

Okay, so I have this "want" to become a chef. I realized I like cooking few years ago but didn't see it as something i should pursue as I was doing marketing + social media as a full time job for 8 years!
this year, my life turned 360. My partner of almost 8 years left me. I'm in a foreign country.
And i feel like this is the right time to kickstart that new career. but fam don't agree. you see, i'm already 30. i should look for stability and not chase dreams.
so where to?

what i donât like about cleaning: it frees up my brain. and when iâm not thinking about work and deadlines, i ruminate about the past that iâve been trying to get away from. sometimes i catch myself before i sink too deep. but this afternoon as i was about to clean the cooktop, it was too late to pull myself out and so i dropped the cloth and walked out. came back to this (photo) which reminded me of the tasks and responsibilities i left unfinished because i let my thoughts overpower me.

Al-hamdu lil-lÄh! Humbled to have met Principal Nacob of Guntong Elementary School in North Cotabato. A true advocate for education, he believes that it can give children in poor communities a fighting chance for a better future. I hope with this video Principal Nacobâs efforts and the struggles of public schools in remote communities wonât go unnoticed.
