Anime Rec List 1/? (seriously check these out i love them with all my heart and soul and have adopted all of these characters)

Chivalry of a Failed Knight (Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry)

Characters- Ikki Kurogane, Shizuku Kurogane, Stella Vermillion, Nagi “Alice” Arisuin, Ayase Ayatsuji

Description- “For Ikki Kurogane, graduating as a Magical Knight is nigh impossible. Among Blazers, he’s considered the worst; he can materialize his soul into a weapon, but his magical power is extremely low. To add insult to injury, an unfortunate encounter with the talented and beautiful Princess Stella Vermillion slashes his already slim odds and alters the course of his life forever.”

Rating- 9/10 would cry again, Ikki is my son and I want to adopt him, Stella is beautiful and I would pay good money to be at their wedding, also Alice was great the entire time and Shizuku was very into incest and it was scary- would be 10/10 if she would stop pining after her brother ew

Sky Wizards Academy (Kuusen Madoushi Kouhosei no Kyoukan)

Characters- Kanata Age, Misora Whitale, Lecty Eisenbach, Rico Flamel, Yuri Flostre, Chloe Sevigny, Lloyd Alwin, Freon Flamel

Description- “Once known as the "Black Master Swordsman," Kanata Age is now considered a traitor and is assigned to lead an F-class of mismatched mages. It's too bad his three new students think he's a pervert.”

Rating- 12/10 way better than the description makes it sound. Kanata is an amazingly wonderful protag and his students are each their own three dimensional character, and though very cliche, the entire thing made me fall in love with the characters.

Charlotte

Characters- Yu Otasaka, Nao Tomori, Jōjirō Takajō, Yusa “Yusarin Nishimori” Kurobane, Ayumi Otasaka, Shunsuke Otasaka, Takehito “Pooh” Kumagami,

Description- “Very few adolescent boys and girls have an onset of special abilities. Yu Otosaka is one such man who uses his ability unbeknownst to others in order to lead a satisfying school life. Then one day, a girl named Nao Tomori suddenly appears before him. Their encounter reveals the destiny for wielders of special abilities.”

Rating- 10000000/10 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA okay yeah tbh this anime was one of the earliest animes to make me cry hold me on my word bc this is GOOD SHIT™

Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign (Owari no Seraph)

Characters- Yūichirō “Yu”(/”Yuu”) Hyakuya (born Yūichirō Amane), Shinoa Hīragi, Mikaela “Mika” Hyakuya (born Mikaela Shindō), so many more tbh just remember vampire= FASHION

Description- “After a mysterious virus wipes out ninety percent of humanity, vampires emerge, treating mankind like livestock. But 12-year-old Yuichiro Hyakuya successfully escapes the bloodsucking captors, joining an extermination unit dedicated to killing vampires.”

Rating- i would give my life for my precious boys and if they hurt yuichiro again we will have to see whos faster me or mika honestly leave him alone infinity/10

K (yep thats the name dont wear it out)

Characters- theres a bunch of different clans im not gonna type out just trust me okay all you need to know is the silver clan (dont worry about the clans thats a spoiler and a half): Yashiro “Shiro” Isana (the entire thing is a lie though but i cant say what his name actually is so hes just shiro (two shiros in two fandoms)), Kuroh “Black Dog” or “Kuro” Yatogami, Miyabi “Neko” Ameno

Description- “Set in a world where history has taken a slightly different course from the one we’re familiar with, K follows the story of a young boy whose life is caught in a psychic war between seven kings. Yashiro Isana, also known as Shiro, is wanted for a crime he has no recollection of committing. He finds himself being hunted by the groups HOMRA, led by Mikoto Suoh, “The Red King,” and SCEPTER 4, led by Reisi Munakata, “The Blue King.” While on the run, a young man named Kuroh Yatogami helps him. This fated encounter will change Shiro’s life forever.”

Rating- 19/10 i would give my life for the silver clan i love them more than i love myself even though thats really not saying a lot ope also two fuckin seasons and a movie!!! god bless

Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet (Suisei no Gargantia)

Characters- Ledo, Amy, Saaya, Melty, theres others but the wiki im using for these names is vague

Description- “In the distant future, Ledo, a young soldier from space, wakes up and finds himself marooned on an ocean planet. Growing up in space, and knowing nothing but battle, he is a stranger in a strange land, full of odd customs and a foreign language, but he’s not alone. Starting a new journey on this verdurous planet, Ledo must find a way to survive and reconcile that fact that he may never be able to return home!”

Rating- 100/10 i was an emotionally traumatized wreck after watching it
