So this ghost I made just the other day, recently I've stumbled across so many cute bear clothes, and accessories, that I felt I just had to make a ghost inspired by my many finds.
I wanted to be a bit more complex with his one, so not only are they wearing a shirt, they are also donning a bear hat and bag. I wanted an aesthetic neutral-ish color palette and I think the light mint and brown go nicely together. This was created entirely on a whim, so no sketch this time. I finished painting on all the extra little details, and this ghost was finished :)

A small ghost tending their flower 🌼🌱👻
So here, it's been a very cold winter, and the grass is mostly still dead looking. However, luckily for me, things are starting to warm up and the foliage is growing back, regaining it's previous vibrancy.
I decided to create a sculpt that reminded me of the upcoming season, and to me, nothing says spring more than blooming flowers.
I had thought about using oranges and yellow for the hat and flower (it was originally gonna be a sunflower), but instead I went with some light pastel purple & blue.
I painted an abstract checker like pattern in the hat with a darker purple, and added some darker green to the flower stem. Keeping the face minimal, that completed this little friend. I think the colors of this sculpt definitely remind me of spring, and hopefully, like this ghost, I shall soon be tending my flowers :)

The finished dino ghost 👻🦕💚
So I meant to upload this guy a bit ago, but I took a while to paint them. Frankly, I just decided to make a dino ghost, because the idea popped into my head. It took me a bit to decide on the cheek color, but I ended up ditching pink, for a darker shade of green. I added little freckles to the dino bucket hat, because why not? Of course, I had to add a face to the hat as well, and finally finished off this cute friend :)

A little ghost wearing ear defenders 🎧👻
So I, like many other neurodivergents, struggle with sensory overload sometimes. However, I've learned to combat this by wearing ear defenders, and was inspired to make this little friend. For the ear pieces, I took a bit of purple clay and connected it to a piece of wire covered in black clay. The speech bubbles were shaped with white clay and after baking, I painted on the text. Finally I painted the face, adding some stars on the heart cheeks :)

A little gamer ghost I made 🎮🎧👻🕹️
So I know I said I'd post an update of the completed dino ghost, but unfortunately it has to be put off a little longer. Instead, I'm showing this gamer ghost I made a bit ago. The game console and controller were modeled after the Xbox 360, though I had to omit some details because of the size. The headphones were originally gonna be black, but I ran out of black clay and used gray instead, embellishing then with a little curlicues on the sides. It was fun to experiment a bit with this sculpt, as I don't really make tiny clay creations often anymore. I used to make mostly mini food and accessories (barbie size equivalent), so this was a bit nostalgic. Anyway, this friend was pretty fun to make and turned out pretty cute :)

A cute dinosaur ghost I've been working on 🦕💚🦖💛
So this one came from random inspiration, I haven't watched or seen anything dino related, but that's just my brain. I knew I wanted to make a dino ghost but I didn't want it to look like they were wearing a full dino costume. So I decided upon a dino bucket hat and added the tail at the last minute. I tend to add items and details to the sculpt I hadn't originally planned, mostly because I end up feeling like the ghost is too bare. Adding the spikes on the tail and bucket hat was a bit tricky, but I felt it was essential to show that it was a dinosaur and not some other green friend. This ghost was made a little smaller than the others, so perhaps it is a child. Who knows? Anyway I'll show how this friend turns out in my next post :)

This ghost friend is ready for movie night 🍿
So recently I've started watching a lot of TV shows and movies, which inspired this little ghost. I, myself, prefer to qatch movies at home, but I know a lot of people enjoy going to the cinemas instead. I have to say, there is something dreamy and nostalgic about sitting in a room full of (usually) red chairs, eating popcorn surrounded by (hopefully) just a few strangers. Anyway this ghost took about an hour to make in total (which is how long most of them take around, from beginning to end). Originally they were just holding a bucket of popcorn, but their head was looking bare so I added some 3D glasses. I did a sketch for this one, but it was too shit to show, so yeah.

Finished this little friend ☕💚
After successfully baking this ghost, I had all the details to paint on.
This time I added a bit of pink eyeshadow because YES, and this friend is wearing a little ace pin on their cap :)

A work in progress barista ghost ☕🧢🫗👻
It's been pretty cold here, and there's no greater beverage to warm up with, than coffee. This inspired me to make a barista ghost, because even though I generally just make myself an Americano at home, there's something about watching someone else do it. For all the coffee-lovers, and baristas and just general ghost-lovers, I present this small friend.
I started with a sketch for this one and kept everything the same, though I still have to paint on all the details :)

This dapper ghost has a trio of frogs that follow them around on their many adventures 👻🐸🎩💚
So on a different post I mentioned possibly making a ghost holding a frog and I've finally done it. I first sculpted the base, as well as the frogs and top hat.
To attach everything to the base, I took pieces of small stiff wire with the ends bent at an angle (so it doesn't just slip right out) and stuck one end in the frog. Then I simply stuck the other end in the base and pressed down a bit, so make sure it stuck properly.
This little friend took quite a bit to complete, as I wanted to make sure the hat and frogs were all secure, but I think the result was worth it :)
If anyone would like to check out this ghost on my Etsy, here's a link:

A clay ghost I made a while ago. 🐦⬛👻⭐🔵
I first sculpted the simple base, then carefully cleaned and baked. After baking, I painted little far away birds on the base and blue lines. Finally I added all the other details like the face star cheeks, finishing this sculpt :)

A pair of ghost heart earrings 👻💚👻💚
This is what they looked like after baking, and before I painted the details on.
I decided to make some some more clay earrings again and this time made ghosts holding little hearts. The bases took about fifteen minutes to bake and then I painted on all the details. The last step was adding o-rings and sterling silver earrings hooks. Then the ghost earrings were finished :)

These ghosts are enjoying a hot drink on a cold winter night ❄️☕💙👻
I made the base for this figure a while ago but only just got around to finishing it. It took longer than usual to make this one and add all the details on it. I wanted to make a parent and child ghost figure, but at first wasn't sure what to make. The cold weather lately, though, inspired me to make a very cozy sculpt. After molding the two clay figures, I decided to give them snug hats and have them holding mugs of hot chocolate-a very cozy scene if I do say so. There was definitely more details to paint on this one but I got it all done. I think this desk buddy is one of my favorites that I've made so far :)

A small feelings ghost I made a couple weeks back. 🙂☹️😐😑
You know that feeling you get when all your emotions pile up and you don't even know What you feel anymore? That's what inspired this cute friend.
I already had in mind what I wanted them to look like so no sketch this time. Previously, I had made a ghost pretty similar to this one, except in different colors, and thought I'd have another go at it. This time round, I chose colors that I thought coordinated better together for the emotion bubbles. I already had figured out the face design for the ghost, so I just went with that. After all the details were painted on, this was the result. :)

This ghost is dedicated to taking care of their rose plant 🌱✨👻🌹
This had a longer project time. Like I usually do with these clay ghosts, I started out with a simple sketch. As you can see I changed some of the details but otherwise it looks pretty similar to the original idea.
After came making the base and sculpting all the little pieces. The hardest part was probably putting everything together and making sure everything was secure, but I'm pretty proud of the way this little friend turned out. I'm thinking about making a companion ghost that is holding a frog...... we'll see :)

A pair of cute flower ghost earrings I sculpted. These were pretty quick to sculpt and then I painted on the details. The final step was to add the sterling silver earrings hooks and then these ghost dangle earrings were finished :)
