*~*Dana's P.O.V.*~*

As his lips met mine, a feeling of time standing still enveloped us. The butterflies in my stomach fluttered with an intensity I had never experienced before.

My heart pounded in my ears, almost as if he could hear it too. Instead of feeling self-conscious about my body's reactions, I couldn't help but focus on the softness and sweetness of his kisses. Each touch of his lips felt deliberate, as if he wanted to commit every detail of this moment to memory. He took his time, lavishing attention on my lips, fulfilling their every desire.

The awareness of our bodies pressed together heightened my senses. My hands found their place on his strong arms, tracing the contours of his well-crafted biceps and triceps. I marveled at his chiseled chest, its muscles adorned with a hint of hair. I could feel his heart beating strongly, matching the rhythm of mine. His embrace tightened around my waist, deepening the connection of our kiss.

His mouth opened, and his tongue delicately traced over my bottom lip before gently pulling it into his. The attraction between us grew stronger, igniting a fiery desire within me. I could feel my body responding, my nipples hardening against his firm torso as his tongue playfully teased my lip. A mischievous grin spread across Loki's face, mirroring the excitement that coursed through me.

Loki: Mmmm.

He hummed appreciatively.

The flavor of his lips...the graceful dance of our tongues, it silenced my mind and ignited a craving for more.

Yet, a small voice in the depths of my consciousness made an unwelcome appearance, insisting that everything was moving too quickly. Deep down, I acknowledged the truth in this voice. As much as I longed to indulge in the moment, I placed my hands on his chest and gently distanced myself.

Loki: Have I done something amiss?

He inquires, employing his telepathic abilities to communicate with me beneath the water's surface.

I shake my head, responding to his query in the only way I know how, as I am unfamiliar with telepathy. I am uncertain if it is a power I can acquire.

I motion my head upwards, attempting to convey that we should return to the surface.

Once I felt solid ground beneath my feet again, I swiftly departed before he could entice me further, despite sensing his intense desire for me.

With remarkable speed, I reached the top of the rocks, where my clothes remained strewn on the ground. Adjacent to my garments was the Asgardian armor that Loki removed when he pursued me.

Inhaling deeply to steady my nerves and thoughts, I strived to focus solely on the recent events that transpired in the water.

Loki's footsteps approach the summit. I swiftly bend down and gather my belongings.

Before turning to face him, I survey my surroundings and notice a narrow cave not too distant from here.

Dana: I will go over there to get dressed.

As I make my way towards the cave, I carefully navigate around Loki to descend down the rocks.

Upon entering the cave, I instantly feel a sense of relief, as if a weight has been lifted off my chest, allowing me to breathe easier and think more clearly. I quickly put my dress back on over the damp undergarments, muttering to myself about what the seamstresses would say. Suddenly, a bright green light appears over my gown, catching me off guard. Before I can react, it disappears, leaving me in awe. I instinctively touch my dress and find that it is perfectly dry again, except for my still dampened hair. Startled, I turn around to address the voice behind me.

Loki asks,

Loki: Is that better?

Dana: Yea, thanks. But you didn’t have to do that.

He moved in behind me. Pressing his bare chest to my back. His hands move to my shoulders, tracing down my arms. Caressing me.

Loki: I like taking care of you. I like the way I feel when I’m touching you... the feeling of your body against mine is utterly captivating.

His hand moves to my stomach, and he uses a bit of force to pull me into him. His other hand moving my hair off my shoulder, exposing my neck to him. His head leans into mine and I can feel his breath on my ear. He was inhaling my scent.

Loki: You are absolutely intoxicating.

His mouth moves into the groove of my neck, and he starts kissing me.

Dana: Loki….

I murmured softly, shutting my eyes as my breath quickened. Tilting my head back against his shoulder, I surrendered to his tender onslaught of kisses, licks, and nibbles on my neck.

I feel a knot forming deep within me, a pulsating sensation in my core. I reach back for him, clutching a handful of his dark hair and giving a gentle tug.

A gentle moan slipping from his lips.

This stirred a primal, instinctive passion within me, beyond my control. In an instant, transitioning from our tender embrace, I found myself confronting him, gripping him tightly, and forcefully pressing him against the cave's wall. The impact was so intense that the earth beneath us quivered.

I kept my gaze fixed on Loki, never once looking away.

He seemed taken aback by my abrupt shift in behavior, but there was no sign of injury in his expression. If anything, he appeared to be intrigued by my display of strength.

My hands roamed over his exposed chest, revealing a defined six-pack. I traced up to his rugged torso, my tongue savoring the central area of his chest.

Suddenly, we found ourselves on the ground. Utilizing my telekinetic abilities, I held his hands firmly above his head, rendering him immobile.

I knelt over him, lifting my dress as I positioned myself astride him, my breath coming out in ragged gasps as if I had just completed a marathon. Shifting his head to the side, I lowered mine, tracing my tongue along his neck as my hips pressed against him. Although our skin was separated by layers of fabric, I could still feel the firmness of his length rubbing against me. The delicious friction heightened my sensitivity, causing my panties to grow damp with arousal. I sensed the mounting pleasure that promised an intense climax.

Loki: Oh my god... don't you dare stop.

He utters as I ramp up the pace.

As I glanced down at Loki, his eyes were shut and his lips slightly apart. His chest rose and fell, breaths syncing with mine. The intensity of our connection was evident in his response. Yet, what truly drew my attention were the movements on his neck, the visible blue veins pulsating. At that moment, I could perceive the rapid throb of his heartbeat. It felt as though my sight was zooming in on his throat, observing the veins under a microscope. The potent mix of desire and arousal within me began to merge with a primal hunger, an insatiable craving...

My hips decelerated significantly, eventually halting altogether.

Loki observed the swift cessation of movement in my body, the sudden halt in my breathing, and the eerie quietness that enveloped us. In response, he raised his head.

Loki: Are you well? He Inquired.

While his lips were in motion, all I could discern was the rhythmic throb of his veins, captivating my attention. I found myself envisioning the sensation of sinking my teeth into his enticing neck, contemplating the experience of tasting the blood of a god...

A rumble emanated from the depths of my throat as I slowly inclined my head toward his bared skin.

Loki: W-What are you doing, Dana?

Stuttering out of surprise, Loki attempted to thrust his hips, yet my body remained as solid and immovable as stone.

Loki: Can you hear me?

Another growl escapes from my lips.

Loki: Look at me... meet my eyes,

He urged, Attempting to divert my attention from his neck, but it failed to draw me away from my desire.

Loki: You don't want this, remember? Earlier, you expressed your reluctance to engage in activities that could lead you down a dangerous path.

Echoing the words I had spoken to him previously, my gaze shifted to his face, locking onto his piercing blue eyes. With a deep, shaky exhale, the inner struggle I was experiencing was evident on my countenance.

Loki: That's it. Concentrate on me. Tune into my voice. Recall your true self

He encouraged.

Intrusive flashbacks flooded my thoughts, akin to premonitions as I revisited memories of my past relationships. Despite the persistent temptation, I had always managed to restrain myself from crossing certain boundaries. My core beliefs and values shaped the way I lived and operated, instilling in me a sense of self-control and a steadfast resolve to maintain a level-headed approach.

This... this isn't who I am. The surging emotions, my heightened ability to sense the emotions of those around me, have only intensified my own desires, eroding my self-control to the point where my vampire instincts were taking the lead. It took every ounce of strength within me to resist the urge, to wrestle myself back from the brink. An unseen force within me yanked my body away, slamming me forcefully against the wall. My fingers dug into the solid rock, crumbling it like hardened clay in my grasp. Although I knew it wouldn't hold me back for long, it was the only means I had to attempt to restrain myself.

Dana: I’m really sorry. You need to get away from me, like, now!

Swiftly rising to his feet, Loki takes a moment to summon his magic, bringing the rest of his armor back to his body before approaching me.

Loki: I will not abandon you in this place.

He asserted.

Dana: Loki, I was on the brink of attacking you. I need some time to regain control over myself. It's hard with you right here. Could you please step outside, or even better, return to the horse? I'll be out shortly.

Loki: Dana, no harm was done. I am unscathed.

Dana: I AM NOT OKAY!

I shouted at Loki. He remained silent

Dana: I'm not okay. None of this is okay. You have no idea what's happening to me.

I say, tears welling in my eyes, my voice trembling with emotion.

Loki: You're right, I don't.

Dana: I can feel …everything. I know what you are feeling. The attraction to me. The loneliness you have endured for a long time, I get it. But combine that with my heightened senses. I’m tapping into what you are feeling and it’s becoming extremely difficult to distinguish my feelings apart from yours. It’s causing me to act out on impulse. Getting close to you, it came out of nowhere, the hunger. All I could hear…was your blood. You were talking to me and I couldn’t hear a thing but the pulsing of blood through your artery. The temptation is still there, so I need some distance for a few minutes so I can tune it down. Please can you give me just a few minutes.

I managed to say before my voice choked with emotion as the tears finally spill over.

I turn away from Loki, shielding my emotions from his view, unwilling to reveal any more of my vulnerability.

Loki: Very well. I'll wait by the entrance. Take all the time you require.

He replied calmly.

He exits the cave, and I remain, waiting until his footsteps gradually fade into the distance and out of earshot.

I lower myself to the ground, bowing my head into my hands.

Dana: What are you doing?

I mutter to myself, releasing a frustrated groan.

If only Alice and Edward were here. I'm certain Edward would be quite disappointed in me at this moment.

It was evident that he wasn't fond of Loki. I remembered how he had positioned himself between us on the balcony the day before, just before I impulsively leaped off.

The instant Loki laid eyes on me in broad daylight, he was drawn to me immediately. Edward could sense this attraction and grew protective, but it also seemed like he was staking a claim on me, as if I was untouchable.

This was something that had slipped my notice at the time. Perhaps it was insignificant, so I won't dwell on it too much for now.

However, this posed a predicament; my appearance tended to draw a lot of attention, a characteristic of the illusion—a mechanism akin to a predator targeting its prey. Today's incident highlighted the potential dangers that could arise. It was crucial for Loki to comprehend that such occurrences were unacceptable. I had to strive for improvement.

After ten minutes had elapsed, I was already beginning to feel considerably improved. I rose to my feet and began walking towards the entrance to meet Loki. As I neared the front, I noticed he was tending to the horse. He glanced in my direction, evidently aware of my presence.

Loki: Has the time granted you the composure you sought?

He inquired as he noticed Dana's approach, while still attending to the horse.

Dana: I am feeling much better now, thank you.

Loki: While returning here, I took the opportunity to contemplate my actions. I wish to offer my heartfelt apologies. I understand that my behavior lacked respect and I failed to honor your boundaries. Please accept my sincere apology, and I hope you can find it in yourself to forgive me.

Dana: There's no need for forgiveness. As adults, we both could have handled the situation better.

Loki: As a prince of Asgard, I am well aware that it is never acceptable to exploit a woman without her verbal consent. I acknowledge your willingness to share the blame, but this falls solely on me. I take full responsibility for my actions.

A brief silence lingered between us.

Loki: There is no denying that I find myself greatly drawn to you.

Dana: The transformation is to blame.

Loki: I’m not sure I follow…

Dana: My appearance and even my scent will undoubtedly draw a lot of attention, making hunting easier.

Loki: I understand. Are you suggesting that I should proceed with caution?

He says with a smirk

Dana: I think it would be wise that you steer clear of me.

Loki: I believe you may be underestimating my own strength and abilities.

Dana: You were on the brink of death back there. Your “power” wasn't exactly evident to me in that moment.

Loki: I refrained from utilizing them, as there was no need.

Stated Loki, highlighting his restraint.

Dana: You didn’t feel the need to use your powers and protect yourself?

Loki: I was certain that you wouldn’t follow through with your threat.

Dana: You must have a great deal of faith in me, because I surely didn't feel confident in my ability to stop myself.

I admitted.

Loki: To offer you some comfort, I pledge to never allow things to escalate to that extent.

Dana: Thank you.

Loki: I cannot guarantee that I won't be tempted to kiss you again.

Loki admitted, hinting at the lingering attraction

Dana: Loki…

I caution him with my tone, and he responds with a playful grin.

Loki: What can I say? Mischievous deeds are my forte—I am, after all, the god of mischief.

Loki quipped, embracing his reputation.

Dana: I will certainly keep that in mind. However, I believe we should refocus on our current objective. I would like you to guide me through more of Asgard.

Loki: As you command, your royal highness.

Loki replied, acknowledging Dana's request with a touch of jest.

As he moves in closer, I become fully alert, ready to act if he breaks his promise, fully prepared to intervene if necessary.

With effortless ease, he lifts me up and places me atop the horse in a front riding position. He follows, mounting behind me as he takes hold of the reins. Our faces are now inches apart, creating a closeness between us.

Loki: Is this arrangement acceptable to you? Or would you rather have me on the ground leading the horse?

Loki inquired, seeking my preference.

Dana: No, I'm fine with this. I wouldn't want you to be walking the entire way. Riding together will be quicker. But thank you for asking.

Loki: I am delighted to oblige.

Loki replied with a sense of enjoyment.

With a swift tug of the reins, the horse breaks into a gentle gallop as we head back towards the city of Asgard.
