I Got A New Toy!

I might engage in creating art, or I may not; it has been quite some time since I last worked on any digital projects. Nevertheless, I have chosen to experiment with this pencil tonight by drawing in a style reminiscent of my earlier work from 2010, which was the last year I attended a digital arts class. Although I recognize that I may never reach the level of talent exhibited by many individuals in this community, I understand that most people appreciate a good doodle from time to time.

I’m Not Dead I Promise!

I apologize for my recent absence. A multitude of events unfolded simultaneously, catching me off guard. To commence with my current project, I am working on “The Conundrum of Packs: Love is Worth the Wait.” My progress has been limited, as my son now requires an earlier pick-up from school due to his disruptive behavior during the teacher’s planning period. Consequently, he is only taking the bus in the morning, and I need to collect him by 12:30 PM.

Additionally, Spring Break occurred last week, during which I decided it was appropriate to visit family and friends, as it had been a year since my last visit. I returned this past Sunday night around 10 PM, only to find that the other residents in my home packed their bags and departed the following Tuesday morning. Since then, I have been striving to deep clean my house while my child is at school. My autoimmune disorder limits my energy, and I have been using up my available strength.

In the coming weeks, I will also be retrieving the remainder of my belongings from a storage unit in Maryland and transporting them to Florida, which will keep me busy. Please know that I have not abandoned anyone; I have simply been very occupied. I hope to accomplish enough to make another post soon. Until then, I send much love to my dear friends!

It is time for the daily dose of “RadioApple Valentines 2025” todays theme is “Gifting Flowers” with a dose of irony…

I must express that writing this piece of fiction was an enjoyable experience, particularly because it revolved around a subject I had never previously contemplated while conducting research at the library, a practice I have engaged in for various other fictional works. I am aware that my mother-in-law has a keen interest in gardening, so the decision to consult an almanac proved to be quite beneficial. I can also acknowledge that composing fan fiction on research topics, such as glory holes (Unexpected Conversation) or discovering new recipes (Burning Romance), was equally enjoyable. I sincerely hope that everyone finds pleasure in reading it!

First and foremost, I would like to express that my husband is an incredible person. When he noticed my eagerness for the hoodie, he took the initiative to order it as soon as it became available. As the week continues to advance swiftly, I have been actively involved in multiple projects. My primary focus has been on the RadioApple Valentine’s 2025 week, as I have elaborated in my earlier posts. I am pleased to share that I have successfully completed the prompt for Day 5, leaving only Days 6 and 7 to be finalized by next week. In this post, I intend to offer insights into the various strategies I have employed while addressing this particular challenge. The image below illustrates the prompts and ideas I typically consolidate into a single file. However, as I have recently completed ‘Just Another Happy Day in Hell’, this document will expand similarly to the other files on my Tablet, which serves as my main writing tool, especially since my PC requires some maintenance.

Afternoon Wayward Sinners, It’s Time!

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported me in sharing my first significant fictional work on Archive of Our Own (AO3)! This journey has been quite an exhilarating experience, and I now find myself brimming with more ideas than I know how to manage. With this in consideration, the concluding piece, titled “Trials of Redemption,” which begins as a part of “Just Another Happy Day in Hell,” is likely to evolve into its own standalone narrative, as I have been continuously inspired throughout the writing process. Additionally, there are several concepts I wish to incorporate to enhance the intrigue of the story. I am pleased to share that the second half of this work has brought the total word count to nearly 30,000 words!

Two Posts in One Week?

Hello wayward sinners, figured I would update the masses you know how it all goes.

I will say I have been a busy bee and can say…

I have successfully completed three prompts for the Valentine's Day Challenge out of a total of seven.

For the fourth prompt, I need to conduct some research, and I never imagined I would find myself using an almanac again, have not used one since the early 2000’s. Hopefully, it will be worth every minute, for there will be a lot of work going into that particular chapter.

The fifth prompt will reflect my best effort at being sentimental/romantic, as I typically do not consider myself to be a romantic person (I literally sit on the asexual spectrum from crying out loud); I tend to lean more towards the adventurous (kinky) side of affection rather than conventional romantic gestures.

The sixth prompt may incorporate humor…as far as I am willing to discuss for the moment.

The seventh prompt, I aim to add a bit of spice. I am still contemplating what direction to take with it, but my list of creative and adventurous ideas continues to expand.

In regard to the finale of "Trials of Redemption," I have developed eleven bullet points to serve as a guide for my plot, and I have successfully crossed off four of them. I plan to concentrate on this project for a while when I have the time in order to complete "Just Another Happy Day in Hell" before the Valentine’s Day Challenge begins.

What Have I Done to Myself?

So like I mentioned on a previous post, I am going to be working on the “RadioApple Valentine’s Day 2025” Seven Day Challenge…while also trying to work on “Trials of Redemption” which will be a RadioApple fiction since it is what you all voted on💕

As I find myself working on eight different fiction pieces, I’ve unfortunately come down with asthmatic bronchitis again, which means more bed rest and feeling quite unwell. The silver lining in this situation is that I was able to attend my son’s field trip without any problems.

In the meantime, I plan to focus on developing at least four of the plots I created for the Valentine's Day challenge. Once I have the foundation laid out for four prompts, I will begin working on part two of "Trials of Redemption," and then I will complete the last two prompts for the Valentine's Day challenge.

Well, wish me luck I hope I don’t disappoint!

For the finale of ‘Just Another Happy Day in Hell’ on AO3, which will be separate from Fanfiction.net, I've decided to create a two-part conclusion inspired by several fictions that explore a particular concept. However, I'm currently debating whether to develop a romantic relationship between Lucifer and Alastor in this two-part finale or to maintain their dynamic as two characters who tolerate each other while playfully being petty. I have outlined the plot ideas for both directions and have been trying to dedicate about an hour each day to work on it, despite the challenges of daily life. At this point, I find myself uncertain about the direction I want to take regarding their relationship.
