OKAY! I HAVE SOMETHING ELSE TO SHARE REGARDING THE IMPERFECT CLONE.

I HAVE A HEADCANNON WHERE HE IS DAVES "UNKNOWN" BRAIN TUMOR MANIFESTED INTO A LIVING BEING! HES VASTSLY DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER CLONES APPEARENCE WISE AND HES GOT THE MOST ERRIE SOUND TOO!

I've just thought up an interesting concept about Daves clones and what each of them represent in Dave himself.

So we know Daves a morbid sadistic person and I think the clones are a physical representation of various aspects of him.

For instance the clone with the melted face is a representation of the anger he feels towards the world for how he may have been treated due to his pigment disorder and the anger he feels for being excluded perhaps. Either that or some sort of undisclosed trauma.

Moving onto the clone with the teeth for eyes, maybe he represents Daves shame in all the failures he's had in his life and for the things he can't control like his skin disorder which is quite noticeable just like the teeth in the clones eyes.

As for the imperfect clone he could be a representation of how messed up Dave is and his enjoyment of torture and harming others. The unsettling noise he makes in the Breakthrough mod really stuck with me for days.

The perfect clone is what is says on the tin, a perfect version of Dave with all his personality and most of his characteristics. But this could manifest into him eventually believing he's the one and only perfect Dave. He soon becomes a carbon copy and develops his personality and does everything the original Dave does to fit into his character and eventually take over entirely.

Lastly the first clone who is the least hostile of them all (if at all) may represent what very little affection he holds for a select few people in his life such as Mack, possibly Hue since they are canonically friends and to an extent perhaps Alex Pockinson. This may mean that he does care for them in his own one of a kind way.

OK, I think I've rambled enough and I haven't gone to sleep yet, nevertheless I hope this makes sense and I look forward to seeing your opinion if you wish to share. Thanks for reading my ramble and if anyone thought up this concept before me, please do say so and I'll happily take this post down as I don't want to upset anyone.
