Going on hiatus
Hey, Mod Chiaki here. I’m sorry, but I’ll be going on hiatus for a few weeks. There really isn’t much of a reason besides the fact that motivation to write has escaped me for the time being.
Of course, this does mean that, as of right now, this blog now doesn’t have any active mods. Nevertheless, I hope that all of you lovely followers still stick around until the blog becomes active again!
Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience.

Danganronpa Imagine | Being taught to dance by an Ultimate Dancer S/O
Tumblr media
A/N: Ahh, sorry, I think I might’ve misinterpreted the prompt a bit (and of course I only realize this AFTER finishing all the stories ;-;)???? I’m extremely sorry if this isn’t what you were expecting!
I still hope this is an enjoyable read though!
Shuichi, Kaito, and Maki x S/O
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: N/A
Requests are closed at the moment!
Shuichi Saihara
Normally, Shuichi would never even dream of dancing, especially with a partner. Although he definitely wasn’t clumsy by any means, dancing had never seemed to click with the detective. However, he had mostly just been too afraid and awkward to try the activity out in the first place.
Yet, he couldn’t deny that his S/O, being the Ultimate Dancer zie was, had piqued his interest in the sport. Shuichi always came to zir performances, and each time he found himself completely entranced by the graceful twirls and leaps. Not only that, but his S/O always seemed to have fun while dancing as well.
Maybe... Maybe I should give it a try, he thought. Even if I suck, getting a chance to dance with my S/O will still be super nice no matter what.
Thus, Shuichi eventually worked up the courage to ask his S/O to become a dance mentor of sorts. The Ultimate Detective wasn't necessarily afraid of being rejected – no, zie was far too kind and considerate for that – but was more-so afraid that his S/O would judge him and question his sudden interest in the world of dance.
Luckily for Shuichi, however, his S/O acted anything but negatively. In fact, zie was incredibly pleased and ecstatic with the development. Zie was practically jumping up and down in excitement.
"Ahh, I'm so happy right now! Y'know, I've always wanted to dance with you at least once but was always afraid of pushing you out of your comfort zone, so I never asked," his S/O admitted. "But to think you'd come to me first... I'm so excited!"
A few days passed, and before Shuichi had even realized it, their lesson was upon him. Although he was filled with anticipation, he was admittedly a nervous wreck. He knew his S/O would be a great, patient teacher, yet his mind continued to flip through all of the possible ways he could screw up and tick zim off.
"Alright, so first things first, have you had any experience with dancing before, Shuichi?" his S/O asked.
"U-um, no." The detective silently cursed himself for stuttering at such a simple question. "I actually haven't had much experience in any type of dance."
"Oh, that's totally fine!" Zie gave a reassuring smile. "We can start with some basic steps then. How does the cha-cha sound to you?"
Shuichi shrugged and nodded, despite not exactly knowing what the cha-cha actually was.
"Alright, I'll demonstrate it for you first." Despite the simple process, the Ultimate Dancer's footwork was fluid and graceful.
Zie continued for a few seconds before asking, "You think you got it?"
The detective swallowed and nodded hesitantly. Sure, the cha-cha looked awfully simple, but his S/O could make any dance look easy. Still, he was determined. Shuichi couldn't back out now, especially since his S/O made some time in zir busy schedule to teach him.
His S/O gave him a comforting smile. "Here, I'll do it at the same time as you, and I'll count slowly. Ready?" At his nod of approval, she counted, "And a 5, 6, 7, 8..."
Despite going at a snail's pace, Shuichi still stumbled and fumbled his way through the dance. He often found himself with his weight on the wrong foot, stepping forward when he was supposed to shift back, and staying in place when he should've been moving, among other things. Every time he messed up, his S/O would smile and assure him he was doing fine, as well as offer a piece of advice. Yet, even with zir seemingly infinite supply of patience and support, Shuichi was still immensely troubled by his lack of skill.
Several minutes passed before he heaved a great sigh and turned to face his S/O, eyes averted to the ground in embarrassment. "S/O, I... I'm sorry, but I just don't think dancing's for me. Even with you, the Ultimate Dancer, helping me, I'm just... just a lost cause when it comes to this sort of thing." Shuichi laughed bitterly.
His S/O frowned, concern plain on zir face. "Shuichi... You're not a lost cause," zie said, shaking zir head. "At least, you're not a lost cause until you've decided to give up."
Shuichi's S/O reached out zir arm and gently lifted the detective's chin to look into his golden eyes, a kind expression on zir face. "I don't care if it takes you a thousand years to learn this dance, I'll be there to support every step of the way. Really, the fact that you're even interested in dancing in the first place makes me happier than I can express." Zie smiled and laughed softly. "I mean, since this is your first time dancing, I wouldn't expect you to be super duper amazing anyway."
The detective stared back at his S/O, a smile slowly spreading on his lips. "I... Well, thank you, S/O. That... That means a lot to me."
His S/O grinned. "Well, anything for you, of course. So, how about it? Wanna continue, or do you wanna take a break?"
"...I can practice a bit more," Shuichi said, a newfound determination in his gaze.
"Like music to my ears!" Zie beamed. "And a 5, 6, 7, 8..."
Kaito Momota
“Hey, quick question.”
Kaito and his S/O were chilling in the living room, both laying on the couch. Upon the astronaut’s inquiry, his S/O lazily raised zir head.
“Hm? What is it?”
“I’ve been thinking, how do you feel about teaching me some dance moves? I mean, you are the Ultimate Dancer and all, so it’d be pretty cool learning from the best, y’know?” he casually asked.
Zie quirked an eyebrow in curiosity. “Well, sure, that’d actually be sorta fun, now that I think about it. I’m not sure if I’d be the best teacher though.” Zie laughed softly.
Nah, that’s fine,” Kaito shook his head confidently. “If the Luminary of the Stars can take on the galaxy, I sure as hell can take on the dancefloor!”
His S/O snorted. “Oh, really? Have you had any experience dancing before?”
“Nope!” the Ultimate Astronaut replied, his confidence unwavering. “I mean, there’s a first time for everything anyway. As long as I don’t give up, I’ll get the hang of dancing eventually! Plus, I’ve got the best person for the job personally teaching me,” he added.
“Well, I admire your courage,” his S/O nodded approvingly. “Alright, let’s get up. I’ve got some time, so I can teaching you some dancing right here, right now.”
Kaito immediately sprung up from the couch, cracking his knuckles. “Bring it on! How hard can moving your body to a rhythm even be?”
As it turns out, moving your body to a rhythm was, indeed, very hard. Apparently, even the Luminary of the Stars couldn’t help but trip over his own feet some of the time  — or more accurately, all of the time. Still, he didn’t let these setbacks dampen his spirits; in fact, as time went on, he gradually became more and more fired up.
“One more time! I’ll get it this time around, I can just feel it!” he exclaimed, pumping a fist in the air to hype himself up.
Isn’t that exactly what you said last time...? his S/O thought, amused, but kept quiet; zie didn’t want to discourage the astronaut.
However, after stumbling off rhythm for the thirtieth time or so, Kaito eventually sighed and collapsed back onto the couch. He wiped the sweat off his brow and looked up at his S/O. “Not to give up or anything, but... Do you have any easier dances I could possibly learn?”
His S/O sat down on the couch beside him and shook zir head regretfully. “Sorry, but I chose the easiest one I knew.”
Kaito chuckled dryly. “Heh, if I wasn’t utterly failing at that dance a few seconds ago, I’d almost be offended.”
“Well, um...” Zie struggled to pick up the conversation. After a few seconds of awkward silence, zie suddenly stood up from the couch. “Hey, how about we take a quick break for now? Like, get some water or something, then try again afterward?”
“Sounds good.” Kaito stood up as well and followed his S/O over to the kitchen. “I’m sure I’ll feel just fine after a little break!”
“That’s the spirit!” His S/O grinned, relieved that trying to dance hadn’t swiped the Ultimate Astronaut of all his fervor.
Unfortunately, however, the break wasn’t a magical remedy that could give him a boost in dancing skill. Despite the Ultimate Dancer being his instructor and Kaito giving it his absolute best, things were not looking very good for Kaito, dance-wise. Soon, the two were, once again, lazing around on their couch.
“You know, S/O, I can’t believe I’m saying this, but... Maybe I should just stick to space, yeah?”
His S/O immediately turned to face him, shock apparently on zir face. “W-what? Are you giving up on dancing?!”
Kaito’s eyes widened at zir reaction, a bit taken aback himself. “Woah there, calm down. And, well, I guess, yeah. No matter what I did, it just didn’t seem to work out. You know more than anyone how I try my hardest at everything too.”
“N-no, I just mean...” Zie sighed. “Sorry, I was just super surprised. You never give up at anything.”
“Hey, it’s not like I want to give up,” Kaito replied, getting a tad defensive. “You saw how I danced. Better to quit before I make an even bigger fool of myself, am I right?”
“No, that’s wrong!” His S/O suddenly shot out zir hands and gripped his in zir own. “What are you even talking about? You think you looked foolish? No, you were trying your best, and there’s no way that could look stupid! You were... You were really cool!”
“I...” Kaito averted his gaze, a light blush creeping up on his cheeks. “Hey, don’t get off-topic here! Even if I looked, well, cool, that doesn’t change the fact that my dancing was absolutely terrible.”
“So what?” zie replied nonchalantly. “It’s your first day you’ve tried dancing. I bet if you went around asking Ultimates what their first time doing their talent was like, almost none of them would say it was immediately easy!” Zir gaze gradually softened, morphing from indignant to caring. “You’ve got the whole rest of your life to get better at dancing, so don’t give up now, okay?”
The astronaut looked back at his S/O, completely speechless. A few seconds passed as he blinked, contemplating what had just transpired. Eventually, he broke the silence with a soft chuckle. “Haha, wow, didn’t think I’d ever see the day when I’m the one who’s receiving a speech on not giving up.”
Zie shrugged. “Well, even heroes need guidance sometimes.”
Kaito cracked a grin and heartily laughed. “Yeah, you’re right, I can’t give up. I vow on my title as Kaito Momota, Luminary of the Stars, that I’ll keep trying at dancing until I get it! Watch out, S/O; I’m coming for your title as the Ultimate Dancer!”
Kaito’s S/O smirked confidently. “Yeah, I won’t be giving it up that easily.”
Maki Harukawa
"Maki, have you ever danced before?"
The assassin's S/O had spoken suddenly, interrupting the silence between the two during their dinner. In fact, the dinner had been uncharacteristically quiet the whole time; although it was normal for Maki to speak very little, usually her S/O automatically led the conversations. Yet, this time around, even zie seemed silently deep in thought.
Maki looked up from her plate. "No. Why do you ask?"
"Well, I..." Zie took a deep breath and looked up at her with a tentative smile. "I was wondering if you and I could dance sometime. I just think it would be nice, y'know?"
The Ultimate Assassin blinked in surprise. The offer had come from basically nowhere, besides the fact that her S/O was the Ultimate Dancer. Maki frowned as she contemplated the idea for several seconds.
"...A-actually, uh, never mind," zie laughed hesitantly. "I know you're probably not interested in something like that-"
"S/O, dancing sounds great," she abruptly replied, a small smile on her lips. "Still, you'll have to teach me how."
"O-oh, I..." zie stuttered in disbelief, a grin slowly blooming on zir face. "Yeah, sounds like a plan!"
And so a few days later, Maki found herself in her S/O's bedroom, which naturally had plenty of free space. Besides a desk, a chair, and, of course, a bed, there was practically nothing else in the room. One wall consisting entirely of a mirror spanning from floor to ceiling combined with the smooth wooden floorboards gave the impression of a true-blue dance studio.
The assassin plopped down on the bed and awaited further instruction. Her S/O cleared zir throat. "Alright, so, are there any dances, in particular, you'd be interested in learning?"
Maki shook her head. "Any dance is fine, as long as it's relatively simple."
"Mhmm, of course..." Her S/O cupped zir chin in zir hand in deep thought, obviously racking zir brain for a simple, easy-to-learn dance.
Several seconds passed before Maki snorted in amusement and broke the awkward silence. "S/O, just choose the first one that comes to mind. If that doesn't work out, you can just pick another one."
Zie snapped out of zir daze at the sudden noise. "A-ah, right! Uh, in that case, how about the salsa?"
"Sounds delicious," she replied dryly.
"Ha, ha, very funny. As if I hadn't heard that joke a thousand times before." Her S/O rolled zir eyes, but a smile grew on zir face nonetheless.
Zie reached out zir hand. Maki took it, lifting herself from off the bed. She smoothed out her skirt and looked at her S/O expectantly. "Alright, so... What do I do?"
"Well, first," zie grasped one of her hand's and placed zir other on her shoulder, "we start in this position."
Maki instinctively flinched at the unanticipated contact. "Ah, is this a partner dance?"
Her S/O, having felt her recoil, immediately released zir holds and backed off. "S-sorry, is that a problem? We could do a different dance if that makes you more comfortable..."
"No, this dance is fine," she responded quickly. "I... I just wasn't expecting us to dance as partners, but it's fine, really."
"Are you sure?"
In place of a response, Maki swept in close, clasped zir hand, and gently rested her free hand on zir shoulder. She stared at her S/O, a determined look in her eye. "I'm positive."
"Alright, if you say so," zie replied with a nod. "First, step back with your right foot."
She tentatively did as told, and her S/O stepped forward with his left, mirroring her actions.
"Then shift your weight back to your left foot."
Maki began to step forward with her left foot but was promptly interrupted by her S/O. "Oh, no, no, don't step forward. Keep your foot in the same spot, but just transfer your weight onto it," zie instructed.
The assassin muttered an apology under her breath and stepped with her left foot once again, this time remembering to keep her foot in the same place.
"Now return your right foot next to your left." As Maki obeyed, zie nodded encouragingly. "And then step forward with your left... Shift your weight back... Then put your feet together."
Upon returning to their starting position, Maki's S/O broke out into a huge grin. "Congrats, you just did the salsa! Are you ready to pick up the pace a little?"
With a nod as a response, the two repeated the dance, this time at a higher speed. Although the Ultimate Dancer moved as graceful and confident as ever, Maki soon found herself fumbling to keep up and tripping over her own feet. Of course, every time she stumbled, her S/O would slow down to let her steady herself and catch up, but the Ultimate Assassin gradually grew annoyed and agitated at herself nonetheless.
With every misstep, Maki softly grumbled an apology or curse, but as her mistakes increased, so did her volume. Apparently, her twentieth-or-so slip-up was the last straw; with a violent, exasperated sigh, she broke from their embrace and dropped onto the bed. A few seconds passed as she took deep breaths to calm herself, and her S/O sat down beside her.
"Hey, um, are you alright? We can take a break if you want," zie offered tentatively.
She blinked and averted her gaze downward. "Sorry, I know I'm acting immature-"
"No, don't say that. It's natural to get frustrated-" her S/O began.
"You don't need to make excuses for me," Maki interrupted. "Getting worked up over something as trivial as this is, well, dumb. Dancing just isn't for me."
As she stood up to walk out of the bedroom, her S/O quickly shot zir hand out and grabbed her wrist. Maki instantly spun around, instinctively spouting her catchphrase, "Do you wanna die?"
Her S/O promptly released her arm and smiled apologetically. "Uh, no, sorry about that." Zie laughed awkwardly and cleared zir throat. "I... I just wanted to say before you leave that, well, it's alright to get angry at yourself. Also, no matter how much you might mess up, I'll never judge or get impatient with you. M-my room is a safe space, y'know?"
Maki's glare gradually softened, which her S/O took as a sign to keep going.
"I love dancing with all my heart, Maki, and, er, well, that might be a given considering my Ultimate talent, but..." Zie suddenly realized zie should wrap up zir spiel. "Uh, never mind, the point is, dancing with you today was one of the enjoyable things I'd ever done, and I'd love to dance with you again. Of course, I understand if you'd rather never dance again, but I just wanted to say... My door is always open. Next time — if there is a next time — we could continue right where we left off, or try a different dance. Whichever you prefer."
The assassin stared silently in deep contemplation, taking all this in. After several nerve-wracking seconds, she gave a small smile to her S/O. "I... I'll keep your offer in mind."
She then exited the room, leaving her S/O in solitude. Despite her answer being very open-ended, zie still breathed a sigh of relief. After all, a small chance, however minuscule, was better than no chance at all, right?

Danganronpa Imagine | Feeding a sick S/O
Tumblr media
A/N: I apologize for the long wait! Finals had sapped all the motivation to write out of my body, haha. Anyways, I really enjoyed writing this! It’s such a cute prompt! :D I hope you enjoy, and happy holidays!
Hajime, Nagito, Chiaki, and Peko x S/O
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: N/A
Requests are closed at the moment!
Hajime Hinata
After Hajime’s S/O had come down with a fever, he had fervently worked around their humble abode, keeping things clean, taking care of cooking, running errands, etc. Letting his S/O expend as little energy and effort as possible was his top priority right now; zie and zir health meant more to him than anything else, and he was determined to help zim out any way he possibly could. However, one day, after preparing dinner, Hajime clashed with a highly unexpected roadblock.
“Hajime...?” his S/O lazily called out from under a pile of blankets. “Can you help me with something?”
“Hm? Of course.” He leaned the broom he was using against the wall and trekked over to his S/O. “What is it?”
“Can you feed me?”
Zie had asked so casually, it was as if zie had simply asked for the weather forecast. However, Hajime reacted anything but casually.
“W-what? Feed you?!” he sputtered. “S/O, that’s... Well, I mean- Don’t you think that’s kind of, uh, awkward?”
“Hajime.” His S/O stared at him blankly. “Believe me, I would feed myself if I could, but I’m sort of dying a little here.” Zie weakly raised a shaking arm to gesture at zir sweating face and body.
“So... You want me to, well, spoon-feed you?” he asked for confirmation.
“It’s either that or I starve,” zie responded matter-of-factly.
Hajime blinked. He eventually sighed before picking up the bowl of porridge he had previously placed on the nightstand. “Well, in that case...”
His S/O crawled out from under the covers and sat up against the headboard, waiting expectantly. Hajime scooped a spoonful of porridge and blew on it, making sure it wasn’t too hot for zim. He carefully, and a bit hesitantly, brought the spoon up to his S/O’s mouth. Zie opened zir lips a crack and Hajime tilted the utensil, allowing the porridge to flow into his S/O’s mouth. Zie swallowed with a contented sigh.
“You’ve gotten way better at cooking these past few days,” zie noted.
Hajime laughed softly. “Well, I’ve had a reason to improve, as unfortunate as the reason is.”
The couple continued their easygoing small talk, which Hajime was definitely thankful for; it was a pleasant distraction. He still found the act of feeding his S/O strangely intimate and awkward, but he admittedly didn’t not enjoy it.
Really, Hajime loved any time spent with his S/O. More than anything, however, he enjoyed just plain talking with zim. No matter the subject matter, Hajime never got bored and could talk with zim for hours on end, joking around and laughing like children up late at a sleepover.
Their lazy conversation was no different this time around. Despite his S/O's illness, zie was every bit as funny and sassy as ever, something Hajime loved zim for.
"Seems not even a fever can keep you down, huh?" he asked jokingly.
"Please, the only thing I'd ever let pin me down is you," zie replied, a smirk on zir lips.
Although it took a few seconds, upon processing his S/O's sentence, Hajime's face turned the slightest shade of red and he turned to stare at zim, aghast. "S-S/O! Why would you-"
His appalled inquiry was interrupted by intense laughter from his S/O, who apparently got quite the kick out of embarrassing him. As for Hajime, now incredibly uncomfortable, he stayed silent as he kept on feeding his S/O porridge, but eventually, even he couldn’t resist his S/O’s infectious grin. He soon found himself laughing along.
However, unfortunately, the porridge couldn’t last forever. After several minutes of laidback, casual jokes and laughter, the bowl was soon empty, much to Hajime and his S/O’s disappointment.
"Aww, does this mean that you're going now?" zie whined, a fake pout on zir lips. "Hajime, can't you stay?"
Hajime had been heading out of the bedroom but paused upon hearing his partner's words. He turned around and looked at zim with a regretful frown. "S/O, it's only, like, 8 or something. As much as I wish I could stay here talking with you, I've still got a ton of things to do before the day ends."
"Oh, well, in that case, I'll help you so we can get to bed earlier and talk some more!" His S/O weakly threw the blankets to the side and began unsteadily clambering out of bed.
"W-wait, S/O!" Hajime quickly ran over to the bedside, plopped the bowl on the nightstand with a soft clunk, and gently prodded his S/O back onto the bed. "You seriously need to stay in bed."
Zie responded with an overdramatic sigh. "I've been in bed literally all day. You know how boring that is?"
"Yeah, yeah, I know." Hajime rolled his eyes. "The only reason I've kept you in here is that I want you to recover as fast as possible, and you know that. Besides, if you were out and about trying to help me, it'd only drive me crazy with worry."
His S/O paused. "...I have to admit you make a good argument," zie reluctantly replied. "Well, alright. Good luck with your errands; I'll be waiting for when you come back."
Hajime smiled in amusement. "That is if you're not asleep by then."
"Honestly, if I'm asleep, just wake me up. I've been waiting to spend time with you all day," his S/O complained.
"Hahaha, no promises, S/O. I need you to rest as much as you can." Hajime laughed, picked up the bowl, and exited the room as his S/O pouted in protest. Upon closing the door behind him, he breathed a sigh of relief.
Geez, any more time in there and zie might have convinced me to stay...
Nagito Komaeda
When Nagito’s S/O fell ill, despite zir fervent protests, the Ultimate Lucky Student still found himself at fault.
Earlier, the couple had gone on a date to an amusement park. Although the weather forecast predicted sunny, pleasant weather all day, a chaotic thunderstorm had swept in without much warning. They were quickly drenched from head to toe and had returned home soggy and shivering, Nagito profusely apologizing the whole time.
“I-I’m so sorry, S/O! My stupid talent interrupted our date and just made everyone miserable...” he had said remorsefully on the ride home.
“O-oh, Nagito, it’s n-not your f-fault!” His S/O trembled in zir soaked clothing. “And who kn-knows? This s-storm probably has n-nothing to do with your l-luck. The forecast was probably j-just off t-today!”
“I... I guess,” Nagito muttered, not particularly convinced.
Upon arriving home, the couple had promptly undressed, dried themselves off, and slipped under the warm covers of their bed, relishing the comfortable warmth.
However, when morning came, it was soon apparent that Nagito’s S/O had contracted a cold. Meanwhile, Nagito got off scot-free. Feeling responsible, the Ultimate Lucky Student immediately began taking care of the housework and insisted that zie stay in bed. Although it took a few minutes, try as zie might, his S/O couldn’t change Nagito’s mind and admitted defeat.
The first obstacle presented itself quickly: breakfast. Nagito wasn’t the best at cooking, as both he and his S/O were well aware. Besides, they didn’t want to risk the possibility of something spontaneously catching fire or exploding due to his talent.
Luckily, the refrigerator housed leftovers from the other day. Nagito quickly heated up the bowl of oatmeal, retrieved a spoon, and returned to his S/O’s side. He was greeted with a red face and sweating forehead.
“I’ll go get a cold towel for you.” Nagito placed the bowl on the nightstand. “Help yourself to the oatmeal.”
He exited the bedroom and soon returned only to find the bowl untouched and his S/O disgruntled. Nagito wiped away zir sweat and laid the refreshing towel on zir forehead.
“What’s wrong? Is the oatmeal too hot?” he asked.
“W-well, no, that’s not it. I just...” Zie sighed. “I don’t think I can hold the bowl without dropping it.”
Nagito furrowed his brows in concern. If his S/O was too weak to even hold a bowl, then zir cold must be way worse than zie was letting on.
“S/O, maybe you should just rest for now, and hopefully when you wake up you’ll feel better,” he suggested.
“O-oh, uh, well actually, I was thinking maybe you could...” his S/O swallowed nervously. “Um, feed me?”
The moment the words came out of zir mouth, zie blushed as red as a tomato and covered zir face in zir hands. “Ahh, w-what am I saying?” zie sputtered. “Y-you’re right! I should just wait until I can feed myself, rather than asking you t-to spoon-feed me, hahaha!”
In place of a response, Nagito laughed softly and picked up the bowl. “No, S/O, it’s fine. I’m the reason you got sick; the least I could do is help you eat. Besides, skipping breakfast isn’t healthy,” he added.
His S/O uncovered zir face and looked at him. “I... I suppose...”
Nagito kneeled down beside the bed, scooped a spoonful, and slowly brought it toward zim. His S/O hesitantly took the spoon in zir mouth and swallowed the oatmeal.
“See? That wasn’t too bad, right?” Nagito cheerfully smiled.
It... really wasn’t, zie thought, but nonetheless nodded zir head stubbornly, saying, “Yes, it most definitely was.”
The lucky student opened his mouth as if to protest, but faltered and dejectedly stood up away from the bed, carrying the bowl of oatmeal with him. He frowned and looked away disappointedly. “I... I’m sorry, S/O. If this really does make you uncomfortable, I can stop. I actually thought it was kinda of fun, but I’m probably just annoying you, huh?” He bitterly laughed, clearly annoyed with himself.
“You...” His S/O blinked in confusion. “You thought it was fun?”
“Well, yeah. You know how much I love being of help to you.” Nagito paused, then smiled sheepishly. “Plus, S/O, you’re just really cute when you’re all embarrassed and shy like this.”
Zie, upon hearing those words, squeaked and had the overwhelming urge to bury zieself under the blankets. However, zie resorted to looking over at Nagito, hoping the burning sensation in zir face wasn’t noticeable.
“W-well-” Zir voice cracked and zie quickly cleared zir throat. “Well, if you want to feed me so much, th-then I guess it can’t be helped, right?”
Nagito, who had been in the process of leaving the bedroom, quickly spun around and stared at his S/O, surprise clear on his face. “Are you sure? Please don’t do this just for my sake; do whatever makes you most comfortable.”
“Yeah, I’m sure!” His S/O responded with more enthusiasm than zie had meant to.
Nagito hesitated for a few more seconds before sighing. He looked back at his S/O with a warm smile on his face. “Well, in that case...”
The lucky student trekked over to the bed and kneeled beside zim. He scooped a spoonful of oatmeal and held it toward zir face once again. His S/O took the spoon in zir mouth and swallowed the food with a gulp, earning zim an affectionate smile from Nagito. In fact, this whole situation was admittedly endearing and comforting.
...Maybe I could get used to this, his S/O thought with an amused smile.
Chiaki Nanami
When Chiaki’s S/O had fallen ill and couldn’t walk a few steps without stumbling over, it was almost as if the couple’s roles had been reversed. All of a sudden, the Ultimate Gamer was the early riser, the housekeeper, and the cook of their humble abode. Meanwhile, her S/O stayed in bed.
However, Chiaki really didn’t mind. Although this experience definitely felt new, she figured it was about time to repay her S/O for all zie had done for her.
Despite the next day being the weekend, she set her alarm clock, excited to surprise her S/O with a nice breakfast in bed. She crawled into bed with zim and quickly dozed off.
The morning promptly arrived, and the alarm was soon blaring in Chiaki’s ears. She instinctively groaned and turned away from the clock, only to realize with a start that she needed to awaken. She blindly flailed for the OFF button, shut it down, and slowly sat up. Chiaki looked over at her S/O. Zie was still peacefully snoring away, thankfully.
The gamer let out a yawn and stretched. She delicately climbed out of bed, careful to not disturb her S/O, and slid on her slippers. Chiaki trudged toward the kitchen, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
She opened the fridge and pulled out a can of chicken noodle soup; yesterday, she had driven to the store and grabbed a few cans for her sick partner. Sure, they weren’t the most extravagant breakfast meal, but the soup would work just fine, she decided. Besides, she hadn’t woken up nearly early enough to spend a few hours on cooking...
Approximately 30 minutes later, Chiaki stepped out of the kitchen, a warm bowl of chicken noodle soup in her hands. At this point, her S/O was beginning to stir. The Ultimate Gamer shuffled over to zir side, a bright, sweet smile on her face.
“Good morning, sleepyhead. I made you some chicken noodle soup!” she said warmly.
“Me? A sleepyhead? Look who’s talking...” Her S/O pouted, but couldn’t keep a sluggish smile from blooming on zir face. “Chiaki, you didn’t have to do this-”
Zir words were promptly interrupted by a fit of coughs, a series of sniffles, and a tremendous sneeze. Chiaki quickly set the bowl down on the nightstand and retrieved a tissue for her S/O, who mumbled a word of thanks before blowing zir nose. Zie dropped the napkin into a bedside trash can, one that already had its fair share of used tissues. Zie blinked and looked back at Chiaki.
“...I admit, you taking care of breakfast might have been a good decision.”
The gamer only laughed softly and picked up the bowl of soup. She scooped up a spoonful, blew on it, and glanced at her S/O.
“Here you go, S/O. Open up,” she murmured, kneeling beside the bed and raising the spoon to zir mouth.
Her S/O recoiled and tried scooting backward, which was quite unsuccessful considering the fact that zie was already leaning on the headboard of the bed. Zie raised a hand to shield zir mouth, saying, “W-what are you doing? I can feed myself, you know.”
Chiaki frowned. “Are you sure you’re even strong enough to carry the bowl yet?”
“Yeah, I may be sick, but it’s not like I lost all feeling in my arms. Just give it here.” Zie shakily reached out for the bowl.
“S/O, I can see your arms trembling. Just let me handle this,” she refused with an amused smile. “There’s nothing to be embarrassed about. In fact, I think spilling soup all over yourself would be a way worse situation than this.”
“I... Fine.” Her S/O reluctantly surrendered.
“There you go. Now say ‘ahh’,” Chiaki instructed, once again lifting the spoon up to zir mouth.
Her S/O did open zir mouth but stubbornly refused to make any noise. Zie gently put zir lips to the utensil and the gamer slowly tilted the spoon. The warm, soothing soup washed down zir throat, and Chiaki’s S/O quickly found zieself craving more.
“Is this homemade? Maybe you should cook more because this is actually not too bad,” zie said thoughtfully.
“No, this is premade chicken noodle soup from those cans you get at the store,” Chiaki responded with a laugh. “I’m glad you like it, though.”
This breakfast in bed continued for several more minutes. Although her S/O would never admit it, there was something comforting and relaxing about waking up to Chiaki spoon-feeding zim warm soup. Of course, zie initially found this whole ordeal uncomfortable and awkward, but the emotion faded with time. Now zie hungrily awaited every spoonful of soup.
Meanwhile, Chiaki found this situation incredibly adorable and endearing. The way her S/O averted zir gaze with every mouthful and was oh-so-obviously trying to conceal zir embarrassment was extremely cute and amused the gamer. Every so often, she would tease zim by saying phrases such as “Here comes the airplane!” (much to the irritation of her S/O, of course).
The bowl of chicken noodle soup was drained, and Chiaki stood up. She turned to head toward the kitchen when her S/O suddenly called after her.
“Chiaki, wait. Uh, do you know what we’ll have for lunch?”
She faced her bedridden S/O. “Oh, porridge, I think.”
Zie almost cracked a smile upon hearing that there would be yet another opportunity to be spoonfed, but immediately felt embarrassed. I shouldn’t be thinking like that; I’m not a child...
“Oh, Chiaki, wait! Er, a-again,” zie stuttered. “Uh, I just wanted to say... Well, thank you for making me breakfast in bed. It was really sweet of you and I-I would be lying if I say I didn’t enjoy it...”
The Ultimate Gamer blinked while her S/O silently cursed zieself for admitting to being so immature. But to zir complete surprise, she laughed and smiled.
“I guess that makes two of us. You should rest some more; I’ll wake you up when the porridge is ready.” Chiaki exited the bedroom.
Her S/O crawled back under the covers, excited and comforted that zie would be cared for by the gamer upon waking up.
Well, not that zie would ever admit it.
Peko Pekoyama
Peko watched her S/O in silence, a dilemma transpiring in her mind. After dropping off a bowl of chicken broth for her S/O, who laid sick in bed, she couldn't help but notice zir struggle to eat.
She was tempted to volunteer to feed zim herself, but, at the same time, afraid she would offend zim by offering to do so. Despite zir hindering illness, zie was still as headstrong as ever and was uncomfortable with accepting Peko's help.
However, after several seconds of contemplation, the Ultimate Swordswoman shook her head, swallowed, and walked to her S/O's side, a concerned frown on her lips. "S/O, would you like me to feed you?"
Her S/O, who had given up on the broth and retreated under the blankets, looked up at Peko. "What? No, don't worry about it; I'll eat it later. You can stick it in the fridge if you want."
"It's not healthy to skip breakfast though," she pointed out. "I... I would feel much more at ease seeing you eat."
Zie blinked. It was pretty uncommon to see Peko voice her own opinions or desires, despite zir constant attempts to help her come out of her shell. In fact, at the moment, zie couldn't help but feel a little proud of her for expressing her concerns.
She must be way more worried than she's letting on, especially if she's speaking up about it...
Her S/O sat up against the headboard of the bed. "Fine. I guess you can feed me if you want," zie reluctantly accepted.
"Are you sure? Don't do this for my sake, S/O. If you'd rather eat on your own, I understand-"
"No, no, Peko, it's fine!" zie quickly reassured her. "I'd... I'd love for you to feed me. Besides, I wouldn't want you to worry."
Peko stared in surprise for a split second, taken off-guard by the spontaneous, rare show of affection from her S/O. However, she quickly recovered and nodded. "I understand."
Without a word, she picked up the bowl of chicken broth and scooped a spoonful. She held the utensil out to her S/O, who swallowed it hungrily. Peko repeated this process over and over again, but the couple still refused to speak, and neither could deny the awkward silence between them.
After what seemed like forever, her S/O ultimately came to the realization that she would probably not speak unless spoken to. Clearing zir throat, zie looked at Peko and smiled as warmly as zie could. "How have you been lately?"
"Normal, I suppose. The only abnormality in my schedule, as of late, has been taking care of you," she flatly replied.
"Ah, I see." Zie nodded in understanding.
Silence.
Realizing zie was going to need a deeper subject of conversation, Peko's S/O piped up, "Hey, so after I get better, what do you wanna do?"
The swordswoman tilted her head in confusion. "What do you mean?"
"Well, like, is there any place you wanna visit, any restaurant you wanna eat at, y'know?"
Peko fed zim another spoonful of broth. "I'm fine with anything you want to do."
"Well, I want to do what you want to do, Peko," zie replied with a joking smile, but there was a hint of challenge in zir voice as well.
"What... I want to do?"
"Yep. For example, did you really want to feed me, or did you feel like you were obligated to under some weird order to take care of me?" Zie raised an eyebrow.
Peko hesitated. She averted her gaze and lightly dropped the spoon into the bowl, appearing to be in deep thought. After a few seconds, she sighed and looked back at her S/O.
"I noticed you were struggling, so I just wanted to make sure you were comfortable and happy. That's why I offered to feed you."
"Peko, sometimes you need to prioritize yourself over me," zie began.
"S/O, seeing you happy makes me happy. So, in a way, I was fulfilling my own desires," she explained, a nervous tinge to her voice - a rare emotion from the Ultimate Swordswoman.
Her S/O paused, momentarily stunned. Although zie tended to not express zir affection, Peko displayed her own even less often, and it always took zim by surprise.
Zie looked up to see a barely visible blush forming on her face. "Peko, I..."
"Plus," she began, "when I feed you, it reminds me of feeding a cute, fluffy animal. Or, at least, what I imagine it would be like."
Her S/O blanked. Although just a few seconds ago, zie was prepared to recite a heartfelt speech, all zie felt now was embarrassment and rage. "P-Peko! What do you mean, a 'cute, fluffy animal'?!"
"You have told me before to say what I'm thinking, correct?"
"W-well, yeah, but, I mean-"
Zie cut zieself off upon looking back up at Peko, who was... smiling? A smile from the Ultimate Swordswoman was one thing, but had she really just joked around?
Is this some crazy fever dream I'm having? zie thought, completely bewildered.
Still, Peko's S/O couldn't help but stare. Her smiles were few but still the most beautiful thing zie had ever seen, and zie treasured the few instances zie could lay zir eyes upon it.
Peko, more relaxed now, picked up the bowl of chicken broth once again. "You should finish this before it gets cold."
"I... Yeah, I should." Her S/O slowly nodded.
Conversation came quite a bit more easily after that.

Danganronpa Headcanons | S/O who deals with chronic nausea
Tumblr media
A/N: I hope that the way I wrote Izuru here is accurate to his personality, as I actually don’t really know that much about him (besides the “How boring...” thing he’s got going on), despite playing all the games and watching the anime lol.
I’d also like to apologize if I described chronic nausea incorrectly in the headcanons. Before writing I did some research on the condition, but my understanding still might not be the most accurate or clear.
Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy!
Hajime, Izuru, Shuichi, and Kiibo x S/O
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: N/A
Requests are closed at the moment!
Hajime Hinata
When Hajime found out that his S/O had chronic nausea, he was mostly nonchalant about it.
He basically treated zim the same as before, which was something his S/O appreciated.
Far too many times have zir friends and family hesitated to invite zim to outings, worried that zie wouldn’t be able to keep up. Although zie knew that they were just looking out for zim, zie would be lying if zie said that it didn’t sting a bit.
Of course, Hajime did worry about his S/O, but he trusted zim to tell him if zie ever felt too nauseous. He definitely wasn’t going to dictate whether or not his S/O could go outside. After all, he wasn’t the one dealing with the ailment.
Still, Hajime made sure to always ask to tag along if his S/O was heading out. He made a point of not pressuring zim, however.
But, of course, since he was zir boyfriend, zie let him come with 99% of the time anyway.
When his S/O did feel extremely nauseous, Hajime would find a place to sit zim down. He’d remind zim to take deep breaths and try to relax.
Hajime was always very patient with his S/O when it came to zir condition. Even if a spontaneous wave of nausea were to interrupt one of their dates, he never got frustrated or annoyed.
He was willing to sit with zim for as long as it took for the nausea to subside. In addition, he would help distract zim by telling random stories or talking about his day.
Hajime’s stories were often hilarious, and if he ran short of material, he would turn to silly jokes instead.
The conversations were obviously a bit one-sided, but Hajime still managed. His efforts didn’t go unnoticed by his S/O either.
Zie deeply appreciated this selfless side of him.
Whenever the dizzy spells would finally diminish, zie would apologize profusely for “wasting so much time.”
Hajime would just laugh it off though, saying, “I enjoy any time I spend with you, no matter what we’re doing.”
Depending on the time, the couple would either return home and chill together or continue their date as if nothing happened. After all, a little setback wasn’t going to stop Hajime and his S/O from relishing the rest of their time together.
Izuru Kamukura
When Izuru’s S/O had first told him that zie dealt with chronic nausea, he was mostly indifferent. After all, due to his superior analytic abilities, he had already suspected zie suffered from the ailment within the first few days they had met.
Still, Izuru was determined to help his S/O any way he possibly could (which was admittedly many ways).
Every day, the Ultimate Hope would utilize most, if not all, of his medical talents to determine the most effective way to suppress the nausea.
If Izuru detected that his S/O needed to stay home, he would basically confine zim to zir bed, and would not take no for an answer.
If the nausea seemed less extreme but still concerning, he would tag along with zim and stay by zir side throughout the day.
If zir nausea was lighter, he would still double check that zie had a ready supply of ginger, bland food, water, and other nausea-suppressing foods before sending zim on zir way.
However, even with his otherworldly intellect, sometimes even the Ultimate Hope himself couldn’t stop his S/O from feeling extremely nauseous at times. Whenever this occurred, he was left severely unsettled.
Failure as a whole was a completely new experience to him, especially when it came to something like this, something he put all his effort into.
Of course, he wouldn’t let any of his inner turmoil show on his face, but these unfamiliar emotions churned in his mind, unearthing great confusion and leaving him utterly disturbed.
However, at the same time, the unpredictability and irregularity of his S/O’s chronic nausea were almost...exciting to Izuru.
Of course, not because of the pain it brought upon his S/O. No, Izuru was, well, Izuru, but he wasn’t at all sadistic.
Rather, almost everything in the world bored him. Being able to predict every possible outcome to every possible situation with the utmost accuracy...
Izuru was essentially a bored god.
Of course, this meant the slightest bit of variation in his life brought immense excitement, and his S/O’s chronic nausea was no different.
Still, his S/O felt guilty and thought it a chore to take care of zim, and a boring one at that.
“I’m sorry Izuru... It must be aggravating caring for me constantly, huh?”
Whenever zie shared zir doubts, the Ultimate Hope would earnestly shake his head.
“S/O, you’re the most interesting person I’ve ever met. I love you, and I love taking care of you,” he would always reassure zim.
Though Izuru’s face lacked the emotion his phrases carried, his S/O knew that he wasn’t one to sugarcoat things or lie. He meant every single word.
Shuichi Saihara
Upon hearing that his S/O had chronic nausea, Shuichi began researching the ailment almost instantly. Although he had definitely heard about the condition before, no one close to him had ever suffered from it.
After reading up on the subject, he felt a strong surge of pity for his S/O.
“I can’t believe zie has to constantly live with such a horrible feeling...”
A sense of responsibility washed over the detective. He was zir boyfriend, for Pete’s sake, and he was going to make zir life as comfortable as possible.
His S/O knew just how much Shuichi worried about zim. Although it was admittedly heartwarming, zie hated seeing him get so worked up over zim.
So his S/O would sometimes to decide to grin and bear it.
However, Shuichi, being the perceptive Ultimate Detective, could almost always tell when zie was masking zir nausea.
He would lightly reprimand zim, but he couldn’t ever get too mad since he knew zie only did that for his sake.
“S/O, I appreciate it, I really do, but... Please don’t be afraid to tell me when you feel sick. It’d be better for both of us.”
“But Shuichi...” His S/O hesitated before reluctantly relenting. “Fine. But please promise me you won’t get too freaked out?”
The detective laughed sheepishly. “Haha, yeah, I’ll try.”
It was then Shuichi’s turn to mask his emotions.
True to zir promise, his S/O told him whenever zie felt extremely nauseous.
Of course, Shuichi greatly appreciated that, but it didn’t stop him from mentally panicking. He displayed a calm, comforting smile on the outside, but on the inside, it was as if a hurricane was whirling in his mind.
If you asked anyone who knew Shuichi, they would say that he was extremely calm and collected, and a person who thought things through. And yes, that was true, the majority of the time.
However, when it came to his S/O, the detective became a flustered, panicky mess. Zie meant the world to him; he valued zim more than anything, even himself.
He also communicated these feelings surprisingly frequently, and his S/O was well-aware of how loved zie was. Still, when it came to zir chronic nausea, such normally heartwarming sentiments gave zim great anxiety.
“I... I know how much I worry you with my chronic nausea, Shuichi,” zie professed. “I-if you ever feel it taking a toll on your mental health, p-please don’t ever hesitate to say so, and I’ll... I’ll make sure you won’t have to deal with me anymore.”
Shuichi blinked, obviously startled. “W-what?! S/O! You know I would never ask that of you!”
“Because you’re too nice. Just swear that if I ever affect your health, you’ll tell me right away, please,” zie pleaded.
“I...” The detective frowned. “I promise. But just a fair warning, that’ll never happen. I love you more than words can express, S/O. Sure, I admit I worry about you a lot, but that’s because you mean so much to me. I couldn’t bear to lose you.” He wrapped zim up in a cozy, comforting embrace.
His S/O laughed. “Shuichi, you’re being overdramatic.”
Yet, wrapped up in the detective’s arms like that, his S/O couldn’t help but feel silly about zir worries. Whenever zie was with Shuichi, it was as if all zir fear and doubts vanished into thin air.
K1-B0
Keebo was extremely prepared when it came to his S/O’s chronic nausea. Ever since zie had told him that zie suffered from the condition, the Ultimate Robot had instantly done as much research as (un)humanly possible.
He had downloaded as many articles, documentaries, and videos related to the subject into his database as he could, hoping to find the best method of taking care of his S/O.
Keebo always had water bottles and saltine crackers on him, ready for consumption at any time.
He also made sure to always have a steady hand supporting his S/O, should a wave of nausea randomly assault zim, making zim lose zir balance.
Of course, knowing Keebo, this could’ve just been an excuse to constantly hold his S/O’s hand, but he would never admit it.
He would constantly remind his S/O to always tell him if zie needed to lie down or take a break from anything.
Although it was definitely overkill at this point, Keebo sometimes even carried a pillow on him for such occasions.
“I-I would let you use my thighs as a cushion, as I have seen other couples do, but I’m afraid the metal isn’t exactly the softest material...” he pointed out, a bit disappointed with himself. “So a pillow will suffice for now.”
No one could deny he was extremely dedicated and reliable.
...But he got freaked out pretty dang easily too.
If his S/O’s nausea ever spiked and nothing Keebo knew was helping, he would instantly begin freaking out.
He felt extremely responsible for anything that happened to his S/O. Especially since he held the title of Ultimate Robot, he felt as if he needed to be even more helpful than your average partner.
His S/O would reassure him that he was doing his best, and that was more than enough. His love for zim shone crystal clear through his devotion.
“Keebo, I appreciate everything you do for me so much, I really do, but I can’t stand seeing you freak out over me. It’s almost enough to make me freak out.” Zie laughed.
“B-but, S/O, I can’t help it! Although I’ve never felt nausea, I can only imagine how much torture it is... And it is my duty, as your boyfriend, to always take care of you, love you unconditionally, and sacrifice myself when necessary!”
“S-sacrifice?!”
“Yes. As you know, I’ve been reading a lot of romantic fiction to try and understand romance better. I have found many works to contain some sort of sacrifice!” Keebo determinedly stated.
His S/O stifled a laugh, earning zim a reluctant “...What is it now?” from the robot.
Even if Keebo never truly got used to society’s norms, his S/O absolutely loved the quirky robot, and zie zieself always felt completely loved when he was around.

Danganronpa Headcanons | DR2 boys with Ultimate Model/Skateboarder S/O
Tumblr media
A/N: I decided to switch the talent of the significant other/crush depending on the boy, so I hope that’s okay with you. I also wrote in a sorta headcanons-style for this request, but if you were expecting an actual Imagine, please don’t hesitate to clarify, and I’ll start working on an Imagine right away. It wouldn’t be any trouble at all!
Also, important heads-up: From here on out, I’ll be using zie/zim pronouns for S/Os (unless specified by the requester). I’ve originally been using they/them for a while, but sometimes it made it difficult to differentiate between if I was talking about the S/O or both the S/O and the character. Thank you and I hope this isn’t too troublesome.
Pronoun list: zie - nominative (subject), zim - objective (object), zir - possessive determiner, zis - possessive pronoun, and zieself - reflexive.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy!
DR2 Boys x S/O
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: Slight mention of sexual predators/harassers in the Ultimate Imposter’s and Nagito’s sections.
Requests are closed at the moment!
Hajime Hinata
Hajime was mostly accustomed to snowboarding at first, but after meeting his S/O, the Ultimate Skateboarder, zie had convinced him to give skateboarding a try.
“Well, snowboarding isn’t too bad, so how hard can skateboarding be...?”
Well, spoiler alert, but it wasn’t very fun for Hajime the first few hours. Although the concepts were similar enough, the two sports themselves were ultimately very different, and experience from one sport didn’t transfer to the other as smoothly as Hajime imagined.
However, with the encouragement of his S/O and his refusal to give up (he mostly didn’t wanna hurt his pride), he eventually improved.
Although Hajime wasn’t nearly as good at skateboarding as his S/O, he still liked to think he was moderately decent at the sport.
At least, he was able to keep up with zim when they went on casual rides throughout the neighborhood.
These joyrides were actually the perfect mix of entertaining and romantic. It gave the two time to skateboard their stress away, and they cherished the conversations they held while riding as well.
“I used to think that there was nothing better than skateboarding alone; the refreshing wind, the relaxing silence, not having to deal with other human beings... But then you came along, Hajime, and it made me realize just how amazing skateboarding with other people can be. Nights like these, I wish they could last forever.”
His S/O often said such loving and, as Hajime would call them, embarrassing compliments while skateboarding together. Of course, he deeply appreciated these sentiments, but being the tsundere he was, he found it difficult to verbally reciprocate the feelings. Instead, the compliments usually caught him off-guard, resulting in him tripping or falling.
Luckily, the two always got a great laugh out of these embarrassing incidents; even Hajime, albeit a bit more awkwardly.
Whenever Hajime went to his S/O skateboarding competitions, he wasn’t the type to shout out zir name and enthusiastically cheer them on. He was more the reserved type.
He repressed his emotions and silently rooted for his S/O in his head. However, even with his quiet demeanor, don’t let that fool you. Hajime was every bit as hyped up as every other viewer; he would hold his breath, tense his muscles, bite his nails, you name it.
If Hajime’s S/O lost, he would share in their solemnness, but also be quick to reassure zim that zie was fantastic (which, being the Ultimate Skateboarder, zie always was).
Now, if zie won, Hajime would be overly ecstatic for his S/O (probably even more so than the winner zieself). He would run up to zim after the event, and, if he was feeling confident that day, tackle zim in a cozy hug. Once again, a rave about how amazing zie was would ensue.
Nagito Komaeda
Nagito, being the person he was, tended to downplay his own Ultimate talent and gush about his S/O’s talent, which was the Ultimate Model.
However, this usually ended up in them having a friendly argument on whose talent was better (each one believing the other’s was more useful).
Somehow though, their argument always turned to how much hope could be born out of their talents.
“Really, how can being lucky help the world? Especially in my case, where my talent brings me an even amount of hope and despair, I’m just leaving the world as I found it. But with your talent, you can use it to inspire others and instill hope in their hearts!”
Despite his S/O’s best efforts, the Ultimate Lucky Student could never be swayed from his self-deprecating views.
Although Nagito full-heartedly supported his S/O’s career, it made him nervous when zie showed off skimpier clothing, such as swimwear.
He was afraid that showing off so much of zir body would attract predators and harassers.
So every time his S/O went out for one of those photo shoots, for the next several days after the publication, Nagito would tag along with zim whenever zie went out.
Although he was extremely worried his bad luck would somehow affect zir chances of coming across a predator, he still felt more reassured than if he were to stay home waiting for zim.
Sometimes when waiting for his S/O after a photo shoot, some employees working at the studio would mistake Nagito for a model, due to his fair skin and tall, slim figure.
Although he would quickly correct them with an amused smile, sometimes he would actually receive modeling offers (especially since he had connections to the Ultimate Model).
With the encouragement of his S/O, he actually did a few modeling jobs himself. Every time his S/O complimented him, he would laugh it off and instead turn the focus toward zim.
“Even with all the photo editing software in the world, I could never look as wonderful as you.”
Nagito also tended to complain when they Photoshopped his S/O (which was every photo shoot), believing that zir natural face and figure couldn’t possibly be improved upon.
The Ultimate Imposter
Oddly enough, the Ultimate Imposter had met the Ultimate Model at an all-you-can-eat buffet. After stuffing himself full, he exited the building to find several people just outside circling around one person.
They were all drunk off their asses, and the person they were surrounding was extremely terrified, their eyes wide, heavily breathing.
The imposter had immediately dropped his things, stomped over to the crowd, and shouted in the most menacing voice he could muster.
“Get away from that person. Now.”
The people stopped their advances to look at him. A few seconds of silence passed before they threw their heads back in laughter, clearly underestimating him.
With no more warnings to spare, the Ultimate Imposter barreled through the crowd, knocking down multiple people in the process. He grabbed the victim, held zim bridal-style, and ran as fast as he could from the restaurant.
Once a good distance away, he set zim down. “Are you okay? Did those people do anything-”
He was instantly met with an ear-piercing scream and a smack in the face with a bag. Once the imposter recovered from the surprise attack, he opened his eyes to see zim running away frantically.
“What? Why did... Oh.” It suddenly dawned on the Ultimate Imposter that his rescue may have come across as an attempted kidnapping. After all, he had swooped up the person with no warning before running as far as he could.
An exasperated sigh left his mouth. He slowly trudged back toward the restaurant to get his things, barely managing to escape the detection of the extremely angry mob.
Although the imposter was prepared for wanted posters of his face showing up on street signs, he was not prepared to pass the person he saved last night in the hallway.
They met eyes, and he saw zir face fill with fear.
“Wait, I can explain.” he quickly said.
“E-e-explain what?! H-how you picked m-me up and dragged m-me away with absolutely n-no warning?!”
“Yes, just listen to me. I was trying to get you away from those thugs that were tormenting you last night. That’s it. No ulterior motive.”
“I... I see. That does explain why you dropped me after some time.” Zie swallowed before suddenly bowing low. “I-I sincerely apologize for hitting you with my bag and thank you very much for last night. If it weren’t for you, I... I don’t know what would’ve happened.”
“No need to thank me and no need to bow,” the imposter shook his head.
“Er, but please, don’t tell anyone that you saw me at that restaurant! If they had found out that the Ultimate Model had been pigging out at an all-you-can-eat-buffet... Please don’t speak a word of it!” zie pleaded.
“Oh, of course. I have no reason to spread pointless gossip.”
“Th-thank you so much! I’m indebted to you, really!” the model said with a relieved smile. “I guess... I guess I’ll see you around then!”
“See you.”
The Ultimate Imposter had thought that that was the end of things, but what ensued was a multitude of visits from the model. They quickly became friends, and they often ate together, chatting about various topics and sharing laughs.
The imposter also helped zim with disguises for when zie ate in public. Much to zir relief, thanks to his expert disguises, zie never dealt with harassers ever again.
This relationship centered around delicious food continued for a while until the Ultimate Model finally gathered the courage to ask the imposter to be zir boyfriend.
The Ultimate Imposter hadn’t realized it until that moment, but during the time they had spent together, he had gradually fallen in love with the model.
He happily accepted the offer.

At first glance, one would expect Gundham to have an S/O with a talent related to animals or some sort of otherworldly magic. However, against all odds, he fell in love with the Ultimate Skateboarder, and zie fell in love with him.
The skateboarder, funnily enough, was initially attracted to Gundham by his crazy, dramatic antics. While most were turned away by his strange behavior, zie found it extremely entertaining.
Although Gundham warned zim to not get too close to him, as a fatal poison runs through his veins, zie simply laughed it off and continued hanging out with the Ultimate Breeder every day anyway.
Of course, it wasn’t long until the skateboarder met the Four Dark Devas of Destruction, to which zie was completely terrified. Zie was not an animal person, especially when it came to small rodents.
Zie wasn’t just going to give up though. Zir crush on Gundham squashed out every other feeling in zir mind, and zie still decided to meet up with the breeder, even when he was caring for animals that day.
Luckily though, with Gundham’s help and his docile animals, zie was able to overcome zir fear of animals and even grew to love them. The breeder’s teachings also helped zim to communicate with them (of course, to a much lesser degree than Gundham).
The Ultimate Breeder did take notice of how determined the skateboarder was to be comfortable around animals, and it didn’t go unappreciated. The lengths zie was going to just to hang out with him, especially after he tried chasing them away, was really touching.
A few months of this went on, and by this point, it was quite obvious to Gundham that the skateboarder had a crush on him. This made him ecstatic, of course, as feelings for zim had blossomed as well, but he didn’t exactly know what to do.
“Am I supposed to let them confess to me first? Or do I surprise them with a confession of my own?”
Gundham ultimately decided to let two weeks pass. If zie didn’t confess by then, he would take things into his own hands.
Unexpectedly, however, just a few days passed before the perfect setting presented itself before the two Ultimates. Just the two of them resided at the school pens, grooming the rabbits. They sat in comfortable silence when the skateboarder suddenly piped up.
“Hey, Gundham, I know this is sudden, but, uh... Well, I was wondering if you wanted to g-go somewhere after Breeding Club activities are over? I-I mean, l-like, on... Uh, on a d-date...?”
“Mortal, do you know what you’re getting yourself into? Once a bond with me is forged, there is no turning back, no matter what hellish circumstances may come upon you.”
The Ultimate Skateboarder laughed, some of zir tension melting away at his familiar antics. Zie decided to play along. “I may be but a mere mortal, but forging an eternal bond with Tanaka the Forbidden One would bring me unearthly amounts of joy and happiness!”
Gundham blinked in surprise before swiftly hiding his blushing face under his scarf.
“Well, i-in that regard, I a-accept your offer...”
At some point, the Ultimate Skateboarder had tried to get Gundham into skateboarding. However, it became quickly apparent that the breeder and the sport did not mix well.
Besides, the high winds and thrills terrified the Four Dark Devas of Destruction, which absolutely couldn’t stand.
Still, his S/O managed to mix zir talent with animals in an amusing fashion: zie would skateboard while walking dogs.
Although others would be scared of getting dragged off, the Ultimate Skateboarder could easily keep zir feet on the skateboard. Of course, the dogs were admittedly already well behaved; after all, they were raised by the Ultimate Breeder himself.
It made Gundham really happy to see the dogs finally get the speed and amount of exercise they desired. Even if he had the blood and power of demons flowing through his veins, his main job was grooming and breeding, so he found it difficult to fully exercise his animals.
Luckily, he had his S/O to take care of the more strenuous tasks that befall a pet caretaker.
In the end, although the two had such different Ultimate talents, their shared love for animals and dramatic shenanigans brought them together and kept them together.
Kazuichi Soda
Although Kazuichi hated to admit it, he did fall for his S/O, the Ultimate Model, for zir looks at first.
However, as time went on, he quickly began realizing that his S/O had an equally beautiful personality.
That, of course, still didn’t stop him from boasting about his partner’s wonderful looks to his friends (much to their irritation).
In fact, his friends usually believed he was lying, and Kazuichi would end up bringing them to his S/O so zie could confirm it first-hand.
“It’s true, I’m Kazuichi’s S/O. I know, I was surprised too...”
Kazuichi had had his eyes on the Ultimate Model for several weeks before they had ever even interacted.
Despite wanting to go up and talk to zim several times, there was never the right moment in time. He knew how important first impressions were, after all.
Surprisingly enough though, he wasn’t the one who had initiated their first conversation.
On the day of practical exams, after school, the model had walked up to Kazuichi, introduced zieself, and started rambling about how fascinating his machinery was.
Although the Ultimate Mechanic was trying his best to keep up with the person’s enthusiasm and amazement, he found himself spacing out often throughout the conversation, trying to wrap his head around just how he stumbled upon such good luck.
After several minutes of conversation with minimal input from Kazuichi, he actually got the Ultimate Model’s number, and the promise to meet up every few days after school so zie could watch the Ultimate Mechanic work his magic.
This continued for a few months, and they became almost inseparable, their bond born by a shared love of machinery.
“This person’s the Ultimate Model, has the sweetest, most funny personality ever, and loves machinery to boot? I can’t let this opportunity slip me by!”
In contrast to his usually confident personality, Kazuichi was anything but calm and collected when he first asked the model on a date.
However, to his complete bewilderment, zie one-upped him with, “A date? I’ll do you one better; how about becoming my boyfriend?”
Kazuichi’s brain short-circuited. All he could do was slowly nod his head while his now-S/O laughed, utterly amused.
Teruteru Hanamura
When Teruteru’s classmates found out that his S/O was the Ultimate Model, they were all extremely concerned for zim. They each made several attempts to warn the cook’s S/O about his tendency to be a pervert, but zie simply laughed it off and reassured them.
“Oh, don’t worry about it! I know about that side of Teruteru, but we’ve both been putting in the effort to, well, suppress it.”
And it was true, the couple was working to better the cook, and they were actually making progress too. With the Ultimate Model’s strictness and tenacity, zie was able to slowly but surely whip Teruteru into shape.
For one, it was now easier for him to refrain from making lewd comments, although the occasional phrase slipped out (which would end in his S/O disappointedly reprimanding him).
However, the hardest-working force at hand here was Teruteru and his urgent desperation to keep his S/O from leaving him. Before they had begun dating, zie had had one condition for the cook: to become less of a pervert. Only then would zie accept him as a boyfriend.
After several seconds of shocked silence (Teruteru was extremely surprised to see someone give him a chance), the Ultimate Cook fervently agreed to zir terms.
“The first person to actually give me a chance, and it’s the Ultimate Model no less...! I can’t mess this up!” Teruteru frantically thought.
Teruteru was extremely supportive of his S/O’s career, probably way too much. He went out of his way to buy all publications that featured his S/O’s pictures, no matter how small of role zie played in them.
His S/O was also very supportive of the Ultimate Cook and even helped boost his family business’ popularity.
Being the Ultimate Model, zie had an enormous following on various social media, and on these accounts, zie would advertise Teruteru and his mom’s restaurant as having “the best food I’ve ever tasted” (which was actually anything but a lie). This brought an influx of customers to the Hanamura Diner, and after tasting the Ultimate Cook’s dishes, many visitors became regulars.
The way his S/O aided Teruteru in his mission to save the diner meant the world to the cook. Ever since he enrolled in Hope’s Peak Academy, his main goal had been to become the best chef in the world to save the family restaurant back home.
“When I’m with you, S/O, it’s like all my lifelong goals are finally in reach!”
Nekomaru Nidai
Nekomaru had first met the Ultimate Skateboarder when they were both in middle school, both yet to receive their Ultimate titles.
He was the assistant of the coach of the soccer team, while the other was a player.
At the end of the soccer season, the player had hesitantly walked up to Nekomaru, asking him if he would go to one of zir skateboarding competitions. They had become great friends over the few months, but now that the season was over, the player was worried they would lose touch.
“If we start hanging out more, I’m sure we can retain our friendship...” zie thought hopefully.
Although Nekomaru was surprised, as he hadn’t known that zie was into skateboarding, he happily accepted, much to zir relief.
After the competition, he was incredibly amazed by zir skill. Of course, however, being who he was, Nekomaru had already compiled a list of things zie could work on.
They began hanging out almost every day, touching up zir skateboarding skills, and their after-school hangouts became the highlight of each of their days.
Their close friendship slowly but surely blossomed into love, and the former soccer player gathered all their courage to ask Nekomaru on a date.
“W-wanna hang out, uh, after school? L-like not for skateboarding p-practice, but, well, on a date...?”
Nekomaru, seeing zim so nervous, made him burst out laughing. Being a skilled coach, he had gotten good at reading people’s emotions, and he had been picking up signs from zim for a long time now.
“Hahaha, I thought you’d never ask!”
Several dates passed, and Nekomaru asked zim if zie wanted to become his S/O for real. Zie, of course, didn’t hesitate to answer, “Yes! Oh my gosh, yes!”
Nekomaru would help his S/O to flourish and become the best athlete zie could be.
He planned optimal meals, exercises, and anything else you could think of to bring out zir peak physical performance.
Although some might think Nekomaru to be excessively doting, his S/O loved and deeply appreciated that aspect of the team manager.
In addition, his massages were absolutely amazing, and zie looked forward to them every time zie felt sore. Not only did they feel godlike and relieve zim of any pain, but they also valued the time spent together, just talking and having meaningful conversations.
Nekomaru never missed a single one of his S/O’s skateboarding competitions. Even if they were held on a day he was busy, he would find some way to cancel his other plans and cheer them on.
As expected of the Ultimate Team Manager, he gave amazing pep talks, which always boosted the skateboarder’s confidence. Before and after events, his S/O would do warmups and cooldowns, and even though there was no reason for the manager to exercise along with zim, he did so anyway.
During the actual competitions, Nekomaru passionately rooted for his S/O. He was the perfect level of loud; you could hear his encouraging words, yet he wasn’t distracting at all.
The outcome of the competition never mattered either. Whether his S/O won or lost, Nekomaru would congratulate and commend zim all the same.
The team manager also took notes during competitions. After it ended, he would give zim constructive criticism, as well as a list of things zie did well. Although his S/O never asked for it, zie was still immensely grateful for Nekomaru’s consideration.
Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu
Skateboarding had been one of Fuyuhiko’s hobbies for as long as he could remember. Whenever he wanted to relieve stress, going to a nearby skatepark could always lift his spirits.
In fact, that’s where he first met the Ultimate Skateboarder. At first, he paid zim no mind. After all, zie was just another one of the skate park visitors, right?
That’s what Fuyuhiko had thought at first. But just a few minutes of watching the other person skate and he could already tell that zie was on a whole other level of skateboarding skill. Forget just people Fuyuhiko’s age, he had barely seen anyone ever execute such breathtaking tricks with ease.
Dumbfounded, he had approached the mystery skateboarder. “Hey, nice tricks. How in the world did you get so damn good?”
Zie laughed it off with a casual smile. “Oh, haha, uh, I don’t really know, actually. It just sorta came naturally.”
“Jesus, with all that natural talent, you could definitely be an Ultimate,” Fuyuhiko replied, surprise still clear on his face.
The person blinked. “Well, actually, I am the Ultimate Skateboarder,” zie laughed sheepishly, averting zir gaze.
Fuyuhiko furrowed his brows. If zie was an Ultimate, then zie must go to Hope’s Peak Academy, yet he’d never seen zim there.
“You go to Hope’s Peak too? What class are you in?”
“Oh, I’m in Class 76-B! What about you?”
“I’m in Class 77-B. I’m the...” Fuyuhiko trailed off. People tended not to stay away from him after he revealed his talent, but he figured there was no point in lying to this random person who he’d probably never talk to again. “I’m the Ultimate Yakuza. You got a problem with that?”
He waited for one of the usual reactions: a gasp, a flash of worry in their eyes, a step back...
“Ooh, the Ultimate Yakuza, huh? That’s so cool! This is my first time meeting an Ultimate somewhere outside of school! I mean, what are the chances?” Zie laughed yet again, clearly comfortable despite what zie was in the presence of.
Fuyuhiko found this difficult to wrap his head around. “You mean... You’re not scared of me?”
The Ultimate Skateboarder stopped laughing to peer at him with a questioning gaze. “Hm? Why would I be?”
“Well, I-” the yakuza member stopped himself. He looked into the skateboarder’s eyes. A few seconds passed before he decided there was no point in scaring zim away with all the things he had done as a part of the yakuza. “Actually, you’re right. There’s no reason,” he said, a distant expression on his face.
“Someone who doesn’t automatically distrust me from the get-go? Must be my lucky day...”
Fuyuhiko and his S/O already both went to the skatepark often, but after they began dating, it became their go-to date spot.
Although his S/O ended up basically becoming a skateboarding mentor to Fuyuhiko, he didn’t really mind. Zie was always incredibly encouraging and never showed any signs of exasperation.
Plus, the yakuza member almost felt honored that the Ultimate Skateboarder of all people was teaching him tips and tricks.
Fuyuhiko’s S/O also never brought up the subject of yakuzas around him, which was something he was grateful for. Although it wasn’t something he was exactly ashamed of, he still wasn’t very uncomfortable discussing it, as he feared it might make his S/O scared of him.
Without a question, Fuyuhiko would sooner keep his crimes a secret from his S/O than risk losing zim. He cared about zim too much for that.
What he didn’t know, however, was that nothing could possibly keep his S/O from loving him, not even his actions as a yakuza member.

Danganronpa Imagine | V3 girls getting jealous and their S/O reassuring them (2/2)
Tumblr media
A/N: Here’s the second half, thanks for your patience!
Angie, Tsumugi, Tenko, and Himiko x S/O
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: N/A
Requests are closed at the moment!
Angie Yonaga
“Ya-hoo! S/O, over here!” In her usual sing-song voice, Angie called over her S/O.
“Oh, Angie, what’s up? What did you wanna talk about?”
In the morning before school, Angie’s S/O had received a text message from the Ultimate Artist.
6:37 AM: 💖 Angie 💖: gooooooooood morning, s/o! did u sleep well???? i sure did! btw can u meet me after school today??
6:41 AM: You: gm! yeah, i slept fine and of course, cant wait to see you!
6:41 AM:  💖 Angie 💖: nyahaha, im happy to hear it~! bye-onara, see u later!! (✿´‿`)
They had proceeded to be a nervous wreck the entire day, wondering what Angie could possibly be calling them over for. ...Maybe a date? they optimistically considered.
“Well, S/O, Angie has called you here today because Atua is mad and disappointed with you,” she stated as casually as if she were announcing the weather.
Oh.
Despite not even really believing in Atua themself, her S/O still felt the slightest bit offended. “W-what did I do?”
“Nyahahaha, there’s no use playing dumb, for Atua knows all!” Her S/O winced as Angie stared intensely, almost unsettlingly, into their eyes. “But if you really forgot, then Angie supposes it won’t hurt to remind you!”
“Uh, yes, please, er, r-remind me...?”
“To put it simply, you tricked Atua. You promised loyalty and devotion to only His vessel, yet you let yourself be defiled at the hands of another woman!” The artist’s cheerful demeanor didn’t match her words at all.
“I was... defiled?” They frowned.
“Right-o! That short brunette tainted you with her constant hugs and touches!” Angie sounded legitimately concerned before perking up instantly. “It’s quite alright though! If you’re sacrificed soon enough, Atua will purify your soul and welcome you!”
“Angie, wait! Slow down!” Surprisingly enough, the artist did simmer down and allow them time to think. A short brunette that hugs me a lot? ...Ah, I remember now.
“It’s not what you think! That girl, she’s, like, obsessed with me or something. I push her away, yet she always returns. I promise you, I’m not seeing anyone but you, Angie,” her S/O frantically explained, a tad scared for their life.
“Oh, then you won’t have any trouble with her anymore!” she exclaimed with a huge grin. “Atua said that He really liked her blood sacrifice!”
“Wha-?! A-Angie, did you-?!”
“Nyahaha, of course not! Angie’s just joking!” She laughed lightheartedly, and her S/O let a sigh of relief escape their lips. “Besides, Angie remembers her promise to you. Y’know, the one where she can’t make any more sacrifices, no matter how much He wants one?” the artist pouted.
“Y-yes, I remember, and I’m super duper grateful,” her S/O laughed nervously.
“Still... Something must be done about that girl, don’tcha think, S/O?” she wondered. “Anyone who stands between our sacred love must be dealt with! ...So says Atua.”
Her S/O blinked. “Wow, Atua really doesn’t like that girl, huh?”
“He says she gives Him bad vibes,” Angie said with a shrug.
“Angie...” they began slowly, not knowing quite how to phrase their question. “Are you sure that, well, Atua’s really the one who dislikes the girl? Like, it’s not you that’s annoyed with her?”
Before the two had started dating, her S/O had learned that Angie had difficulty differentiating her own emotions from Atua’s. However, at the time, she was convinced all her emotions and actions were because of the god. Despite this, after hanging out with her for several weeks, her S/O was soon to pinpoint some emotions that were definitely Angie’s own: for example, her love for them.
“Nyahaha, who knows? Atua works in mysterious ways!”
Her S/O bit back a grimace. Normally they loved her chipper, eccentric personality, but this really was a serious moment. “Look, let’s try to talk this out before... you do something you regret to that girl.”
“Sounds good!” she agreed.
“So, when the girl gets really touchy with me, it annoys you, right?”
“Right-o!” Angie sang.
Her S/O bit back an amused smile. “Angie, are you... jealous?”
The Ultimate Artist blinked. “Hmm, that’s certainly a plausible verdict! After all, Atua gets very lonely when you don’t play with Him!”
I’ve hit the nail on the head, it seems. “Hey, Angie, if you’re getting jealous, you can just tell me, y’know? No more of this, uh, Atua-being-mad-at-me stuff.”
The artist appeared to think this over but said nothing in response, so her S/O continued.
“I’ll give that girl one final warning to change her ways, alright?” They smiled. “And I want you to know that the day I stop loving you is the day I die.”
“Aww, that’s no good, S/O! There’s still the afterlife to think about!”
“Ah, right.” Her S/O laughed.
“Angie has already secured a nice spot in the afterlife since she’s a platinum disciple, but she worries about you!” She took their hands in her’s. “Angie will pray for you too, so we can be together forever!”
Her S/O softly smiled and squeezed her hands. Even if the Ultimate Artist was a bit weird in expressing her love, her affection for her S/O was nonetheless loud and clear. To let someone like her become jealous of another girl... I must be the worst partner ever, they thought regretfully.
“I love you, Angie. Don’t ever worry about anyone else coming between us, okay? You’re all I need, in this life and the next,” they reassured.
“Angie better be, lest Atua release His wrath upon you!” Despite sounding menacing, her words were full of love. She giggled and jumped on her S/O, squeezing him into a tight hug.
“Atua loves... No, Atua and Angie love you too!”
Tsumugi Shirogane
“Tsumugi, I've noticed you've been scratching at your skin for a while now. do you want some moisturizer or something like that?”
Tsumugi’s S/O didn’t want to bring her reddish skin up for fear of offending her, but they were starting to feel bad for the cosplayer. Scratching and twitching uncomfortably for the past hours or so; it really was a bit concerning. Plus, since she was currently a guest at their home, they felt responsible for making her as comfortable as possible.
“Thanks for offering, but I’ve already tried lotion earlier and this rash didn’t go away,” the Ultimate Cosplayer replied.
Her S/O blinked. A persistent rash all over her body? Sounds oddly similar to cospox... they thought. However, as far as they could tell, despite a slight change in style, Tsumugi didn’t seem to be dressed too similarly to anyone else they knew. However, speaking of which...
“Tsumugi, I’ve noticed that you turned to pastel yellows and pinks, rather than your usual blue uniform. Can I ask why? Oh, not that there’s anything wrong with this new look! You look great!” they added quickly.
“Oh!” The Ultimate Cosplayer seemed unprepared for this question, not to mention a little uncomfortable. “Well, thank you! Yeah, I, uh, just got inspiration from this new anime that aired a while ago. There were, um, lots of pastels, and I thought it would be, er, cool to switch up from being so plain all the time.”
Ah, of course, Tsumugi and her otaku interests. In fact, their shared interest in mainstream and obscure media was what brought them together in the first place. “Oh, cool. What’s the anime? I may have seen it,” her S/O asked.
If Tsumugi wasn’t nervous before, now she truly was. Being who she was, she should’ve been able to pull out any pastel-themed anime out of her brain like it was nothing, but her thoughts were currently a jumbled mess.
“I-I, well, it’s, I f-forget the name... You know, i-it’s, I...?” she sputtered. She began scratching at her skin a bit more.
“Ts-Tsumugi, are you okay? You’re pretty pale and sweating quite a bit; are you sick?” her S/O asked, concerned.
“Y-you know what? Be right back.” Tsumugi suddenly picked up her backpack and trekked into the bathroom, leaving her bewildered S/O behind on the couch.
A few minutes later she reappeared, but this time she was back in her blue uniform, the old pastels nowhere to be found.
“Ah-? Tsumugi, you didn’t need to change! Sorry if my question made you uneasy-”
“No, don’t worry about it, you didn’t do anything.” She sighed.
Tsumugi’s S/O was about to inquire her more, but then they noticed something very odd. Her skin...? It’s no longer red, they realized. No, this can’t just be a coincidence.
They cleared their throat. “Uh, were you, by chance, cosplaying as someone real...?”
Bullseye. A jump and an expression of horror was all the confirmation they needed.
“Tsumugi...” they began, confused.
“I can explain,” she interrupted. Her panicked state had promptly vanished, replaced with a face of solemnness and almost... resent?
“I’ve seen you hanging around that other girl, you know. The one with the frilly pastel outfits,” she said calmly, looking directly at her S/O. “At first, I tried to ignore it. But then she started giving you hugs like it was nothing, and I was... I was just plain terrified she was taking you from me.”
Tsumugi’s S/O’s eyes widened. They opened their mouth to reply, but the cosplayer continued.
“So I took her pastel style and incorporated it into some outfits to wear. I didn’t think it would be enough to trigger my cospox, but I guess really deep down, my body knew that what I was doing wasn’t right.” She laughed softly. “In hindsight, this really was an awful plan. I know that you’re not someone to fall for looks, especially clothing, but I guess I was just... desperate. Desperate for any possible way to keep you.”
“Tsumugi, that girl and I are just friends. Those were platonic hugs, but if they make you uncomfortable, I can stop,” they suggested.
"Oh, no, no, it's fine. I'm just being overdramatic. It's my fault for being so plain possessive," she replied bitterly.
It suddenly clicked in her S/O's mind. This feeling of resent emanating from the cosplayer, it wasn't directed at their friend. She was mad at herself.
Before the cosplayer could utter any more self-deprecating words, they swiftly swooped her into a tight embrace. “You’re not being overdramatic or possessive at all. I’m sorry for not noticing what was going on.”
Tsumugi buried her face into their chest, eyes beginning to brim with tears. “You’re... You’re not mad at me?” She suddenly faced upwards, staring right into her S/O’s eyes. “Y-you should be mad! This is- I’m unforgivable.”
Tsumugi’s S/O comfortingly ran their fingers through her hair. “Of course not I’m not mad. In fact, knowing that you care so much about me, it’s touching.” They laughed softly. “Tsumugi, you can’t control your feelings, so try not to beat yourself up about this, okay?”
“I...” Feeling embarrassed, she retreated back into the safety and comfort of her S/O’s warm chest. “Maybe you’re right.”
“Just promise me that if you’re uncomfortable about anything ever, always feel free to talk to me about it. I won’t ever blame you for anything,” they reassured.
Although muffled, her S/O was able to hear Tsumugi murmur a quiet, “I promise.”
Tenko Chabashira
Tenko and her S/O sat at their usual hangout spot during lunch. Although a few of their friends also hung around them, they tended to only talk to one another. After all, due to a lack of shared classes, lunch and break became their only chances to interact during the school day.
The two made light conversation about nothing in particular, instead focusing mostly on their lunches. However, a few minutes into lunch, another girl came jogging up to Tenko’s S/O, a bit out of breath. This mystery girl had never approached their lunch group before, but no one really minded her presence.
“Oh, S/O...! I was... looking everywhere for you!” She hunched over, breathing heavily.
The Ultimate Aikido Master cocked an eyebrow at her S/O. “Oh, is she your friend?”
“Yeah, she’s in most of my classes, actually,” they replied and turned to face the girl. “Do you need something?”
She straightened up and cleared her throat. “Nothing in particular. Just wanted to hang out with you this lunch!” The girl took their hand in her’s and beamed.
Tenko’s S/O shot a glance at the martial artist and noticed her tensing up. Shaking the girl off their hand with an awkward laugh, they blinked uneasily. “Well, sure, of course you can. But don’t you usually hang out with your own friend group?”
The newcomer took a few steps back, lip trembling. “A-are you asking b-b-because you want me to g-go back to them...?” Her eyes began watering, which caused them to start panicking.
“W-what?! No, that’s not what I-”
“Hahaha, I’m just joking! Chill out, dude!” The girl playfully pinched their cheek, resulting in a barely audible “Tch.” from Tenko.
“Yeah, my friends all just went to the library to study, but I have, like, no homework or upcoming tests, so I decided to not join them,” she explained. “So I ran all over campus trying to find you!” At the last word, the girl lightly tapped them on the nose.
She proceeded to plop down right in between the Tenko and her S/O, much to the Aikido master’s irritation. In fact, Tenko didn’t even bother hiding her face of pure disgust; either the girl didn’t notice or didn’t care.
She continued practically swooning over Tenko’s S/O, resting her head on their shoulder, giving them impromptu hugs, among other things. Right as Tenko felt her temper about to snap, she quickly stood up, looked the girl dead in the eye, and asked her to leave in the most polite way she could muster.
“Sorry, but I’ll have to ask you to leave,” she declared matter-of-factly.
Her S/O and the girl both turned to face her.
“Huh? How come?” the newcomer pouted.
“I have something to discuss with S/O.”
The other girl opened her mouth to protest, but Tenko’s S/O spoke up quickly. “Yeah, I think you should go. Sorry.”
She blinked at them in surprise, looking back and forth between the two people ushering her to leave. Finally, after a few seconds, she packed her things and walked off with a huff.
“...Are you two really just friends? She seemed a bit too friendly to me.” The question sounded more like an accusation.
“What? Of course we’re just friends!” Tenko’s S/O looked a bit offended by even the suggestion. “And I agree, she was really raising some red flags...”
“Then why didn’t you push her away?” she inquired. “You know, tell her that you were uncomfortable?”
“S-sorry, I probably should’ve said something. I just didn’t really wanna be rude.”
Tenko scoffed. “She was the one who was being rude, not respecting your personal space like that!”
Her S/O furrowed their brows in contemplation. Although admittedly not very calm to begin with, they had only ever seen the Ultimate Aikido Master get this fired up around “degenerate males.” Something about the girl had really rubbed Tenko the wrong way.
“...Hey, you know I can take care of myself, right?” her S/O slowly spoke up. After running through a list of possible reasons for her behavior, they felt that maybe her protective instincts had taken control. “If she had gone any farther, I could defend myself just fine.”
“I... That’s not it.” Tenko shook her head.
“Oh. Then, uh, what is it?”
“I know you can protect yourself. I’m not scared of that sort of thing. It, well...” She sighed. “Fine, it bothers me when she acts so buddy-buddy with you.”
Tenko had never been one to hide her emotions, which her S/O was thankful for, especially in situations like this. Communication was never a problem between the two.
“I mean, who does she is? Basically throwing herself on top of you, especially when your girlfriend is less than one foot away?! That’s classic degenerate male behavior!” She threw her hands up in the air in exasperation.
Her S/O laughed as she spouted her catchphrase. “So what you’re telling me is... You’re jealous?”
They were just joking, but the martial artist’s face reddened. “M-me? Jealous?! Jealousy is an emotion for degenerate males that are too possessive over their partners, and as such, I c-can’t possibly be... j-jealous...”
She faltered, realization dawning on her face. So she wasn’t hiding it on purpose. She just... Didn’t know? her S/O thought, amused.
“Haha, hey, Tenko, it’s okay if you’re jealous. Feeling that way doesn’t make you stoop down to a, well, ‘degenerate male’s’ level,” they reassured her.
“So, Master was wrong then?”
He’s wrong about a lot of things, her S/O stopped themself before it slipped out of their mouth. “Well, yeah, you can’t control your feelings. I’m glad you told me about this, really.”
Tenko visibly relaxed, a huge invisible weight taken off her shoulders.
“Hey, next time I come across her, I’ll tell her to stop calm down a bit with all the physical contact. And Tenko, I want you to know that you’re my number one and always will be. I’m... I’m sorry that you had to feel jealous in the first place. You wouldn’t have felt that way if I communicated my feelings more...”
“S/O, don’t blame yourself!” she cheerfully demanded. “If you have time to sulk in regret, you have time to change for the better! That’s what Master always told me! ...Or is that also wrong?” she second-guessed herself.
Her S/O laughed and swept her into a loving embrace. “No, that’s correct,” they said softly in her ear. “I’ll start changing now then... Tenko, I love you. I love your enthusiasm, your pep-talks, sensitive side, everything. You’re the only one for me.”
She almost completely melted in embarrassment right in their arms. “I l-love you too, S/O!” she determinedly declared, hoping the waver in her voice went unnoticed.
A few intimate seconds passed before they reluctantly pulled apart. Tenko fidgeted with her fingers. “I... I kind of feel bad for your classmate. I should go apologize.”
“Oh, ah, right. Haha, I’ll go with you.”
Himiko Yumeno
“S/O, are you ready for some more magic?!” Himiko asked with over-the-top enthusiasm.
“Himiko, that’s the sixth one in a row. Are you sure you’re not tired?” The magician’s mage’s S/O had been invited over to Himiko’s house after school and had since been bombarded by an onslaught of magic displays. Of course, they didn’t mind at all. In fact, they loved seeing Himiko so passionate, but it was a bit out of character. She usually complained about being out of MP after the first or second demonstration.
“Of course not. Today the planets are all aligned so I’m surging with magical power,” she matter-of-factly replied.
“Oh, uh, right.” Her S/O felt that such a phenomenon would’ve definitely made the headlines of hundreds of news networks, but they decided not to comment on it. “Himiko, you know what? We should have a quick break. Even with your boosted MP, a little intermission never hurts, right?”
“Nyeh...” The mage hesitated for a bit but ultimately nodded. “You’re right.”
Her S/O subtly breathed a sigh of relief. Even if Himiko felt as if she could take on the world right now, they still didn’t want her accidentally overexerting herself.
They settled down at the dining room table. The mage had practically deflated after plopping down on a chair, so her S/O found and boiled some tea themself. The two made light conversation, but mostly silently enjoyed each other’s company.
However, the moment they finished their tea, Himiko quickly shot up to her legs, wobbling a bit. “Time to continue the magic show!” she announced.
“Wait, s-slow down!” Her S/O swiftly scooped up the two cups and deposited them in the sink. “Himiko, I know you said that your MP’s all boosted, but are you sure that’s the only reason you’re doing so many demonstrations?” Planetary alignment or not, the mage had never shown so much enthusiasm before. Even when at official performances, she was never this excited.
“N-nyeh? What do you mean?” she stuttered.
“You usually start saying ‘It’s a pain...’ after just one trick,” they pointed out.
“Trick?”
“Er, sorry, I meant after one display of magic. My point still stands though.”
Himiko furrowed her brows in defiance. “I-I told you, the planets are all aligned today, s-so-”
“Himiko,” they chided. “Are you positive that’s the whole truth? I won’t be mad if it’s not.”
“I-I-I-I’m n-not lying! O-o-of c-course it’s...” The mage faltered. “F-fine, that might not the whole reason,” she slowly admitted.
“Oh.” Although her S/O knew something was up, they hadn’t expected Himiko to actually admit it. “So, uh, what is it?”
“It kinda has to do with this other girl,” she murmured. “Y’know, the tall, purple-haired one that’s super good at sports? She’s, like, on the track and swimming team.”
“Oh, yeah, I know that girl. What about her?”
“W-well, I kept on seeing her hang around you. I didn’t really care at first, but then I started noticing her always touching you, like jumping on you or using your lap as a pillow. And you weren’t pushing her away, either,” Himiko sulked.
“I... I’m sorry, I didn’t know that was bothering you. I’ll tell her to knock it off.” Her S/O awkwardly scratched the back of their neck. “But what does this have to do with you performing more magic lately?”
“When I saw how you kept on hanging out with her, it made me start to think that maybe... Maybe you preferred more athletic, energetic girls. You know, instead of people like me.”
“Himiko...”
“So I decided to try harder. I thought that if you were impressed by how hardworking I was, you w-wouldn’t-” She sniffled. “L-leave me for her.”
“H-Himiko, I’ll never leave you! I wouldn’t be dating you if I didn’t love you for who you are!” her S/O frantically reassured her.
“A-are you sure? I know it must be a pain to be in a relationship with me, s-since I don’t do much...”
“I’m positive. You’re all I’ll ever want and all I’ll ever need. Even if you think that your laziness is annoying, that’s what makes you, well, you. And I love all of you.”
Himiko finally let herself sob. She practically tackled her S/O in a hug, who scooped her into their arms bridal-style. Himiko clung to them and buried her face into their chest, blending together a mishmash of phrases.
“I-I’m sorry-” A hiccup. “I l-love you too, and I was just really scared, and I know I should’ve-”
“Shh, it’s okay, Himiko,” they softly consoled the bawling mage. “I know you must be exhausted, so let’s go sleep.”
Although other couples would think the two weird for literally sleeping on dates, Himiko and her S/O found nothing more comforting than cuddling until one or the other fell asleep by their side.
She stretched and yawned in response, shutting her eyes and tightening her squeeze on them.
Her S/O laughed. “I’ll take that as a yes.”

Danganronpa Imagine | V3 girls getting jealous and their S/O reassuring them (1/2)
Tumblr media
A/N: I decided to split this request into two parts. Keeping all of them on one post was getting way too long, and at one point my Tumblr froze while I was writing, haha. Also, I apologize for my inactivity, I got suddenly struck with a fat lack of motivation.
I hope you enjoy! Part 2 should be out in a few days at most.
Kaede, Miu, Maki, and Kirumi x S/O
Genre: Fluff
Warnings: Miu’s scenario has some extreme language.
Requests are closed at the moment!
Kaede Akamatsu
Kaede had invited her S/O over to her house to study together for an upcoming test. However, after a few hours, she had gone uncharacteristically silent, which was beginning to worry him. Her S/O tried asking her multiple times if something was up, but she just brushed all the questions off with a small laugh.
He was starting to think that they were gonna go the rest of the night without another word when suddenly she suddenly spoke up.
“S/O, can we talk about something?”
He looked up from his homework. Just then, Kaede had sounded so timid, her S/O instantly frowned with worry.
“Of course, Kaede. Is something wrong?” he asked.
“I...” She trailed off, clearly mustering up the courage to say something. “I, um... Haha, never mind. It’s nothing.”
Kaede lowered her gaze back to her worksheets, but her S/O stared at her, his concern multiplying by the second.
“Kaede, you know you can tell me anything,” he said, feeling a bit hurt.
“I know, it’s just... Fine.” Admitting defeat, she brought her head up to look into her S/O’s eyes. “You know the blonde girl you were speaking to earlier? The one who challenged you to an arm wrestle?”
“Oh, yeah, what about her?”
“Well, afterward, I, er, don’t really know if you noticed, but even after you wrestled, she continued holding your hand and...” Kaede trailed off.
“Haha, yeah, I was trying to let go, but she just strengthened her grip, and I didn’t want to bring it up. Would have been a bit awkward, I guess.” He paused. “Did- Uh, did I do something wrong? Should I have handled it differently?”
A few seconds of silence passed. Kaede swallowed and her S/O blinked in anxious anticipation. Finally, the silence was broken as the Ultimate Pianist inhaled a great, big breath.
“Yes, I think you should’ve just dropped her hand. The way she smiled at you and gently squeezed your hand set off so many red flags in my mind, and I almost couldn’t stand it. The worst thing, however, was how you just let it all happen, with little to no resistance.” Kaede paused to take a shuddering breath and rub her eyes, which were beginning to tear up. “I’m sorry. I-I just, I know I’m being unreasonable, and that it was just some dumb hand-holding, but it made me so nervous and... I’m sorry. I’m sorry about this.”
Her S/O’s heart sunk as Kaede apologized and apologized without stop. The feeling was contagious, and soon he felt his own eyes tearing up. As the girl raised her hand to her eye to wipe away her tears, he quickly took a hold of her hands in his own. He looked directly at her, not breaking eye contact.
“Don’t apologize. I’m the one who should be sorry. I should’ve pushed her away, and I’m sorry for that. Your feelings and your reaction are completely understandable. You have nothing to be sorry about.”
Kaede’s tears ran freely down her cheeks. “Y-you don’t think that I-I’m just some-” She sniffled. “Some jealous, over-possessive g-girlfriend?”
His eyes widened and he fervently shook his head. “What? Of course not. You’re perfect just the way you are, and the most amazing girlfriend I could ask for. I’m sorry for worrying you. I promise you that for as long as I live, I’ll never consider any other girl as my lover.” Her S/O smiled reassuringly. “So don’t worry, okay?”
Kaede stared in stunned silence. After several seconds, she broke into a smile and giggled. “A-alright. I’m sorry for making such a big deal out of nothing.”
Her S/O brought her hands up to his mouth and planted a light, comforting kiss on her fingers.
“What did I just say about apologizing?” he pouted, but he couldn’t keep a loving laugh from escaping his mouth.
Miu Iruma
“You must think you’re so slick, eh, fuckboy?”
Miu’s S/O blinked. After skipping class to go and hang out with each other in the warehouse, the Ultimate Inventor had immediately begun yelling at him upon entering the room.
“Fuckboy?” She hadn’t called him that nickname since before the two had started dating.
“Yeah, that’s what I fucking said!” Miu slammed her hand on the wall, right next to his head.
Despite her obvious animosity towards him right now, her S/O couldn’t help but chuckle a bit. Knowing just how sensitive Miu truly was, seeing her put up this terrifying display was a bit humorous. “What did I do to regain this title?”
“Shouldn’t the title of ‘fuckboy’ make it pretty damn obvious? Or did fucking that bimbo bitch make you lose brain cells?”
He immediately stopped smiling. “What are you talking about?”
Miu released her pin on her S/O and straightened up. She crossed her arms and looked to the side, exasperation plain on her face. “Playing dumb, are we? Don’t act like she wasn’t feeling you up and making a move on you right out in the fucking open,” she scowled.
“Oh, right, that,” he remembered. “Yeah, she did do that, but didn’t you see me push her away? I think I was pretty vocal about telling her to stop as well.”
“Yeah, but damn, that was one obvious performance. We both know you guys fucked after school!” Miu shakily pointed an accusing finger.
Okay, this time, he really couldn’t help but laugh. “Miu, you’re making no fucking sense.”
“W-why else would you say that you were ‘tired’ and turn me down when I called you that night? And p-pretending that you were studying at the library after school... Studying, my ass!”
“What? Come on, you know I wouldn’t-”
“You wouldn’t? Oh, really? Ha, you sound like every other fucking boy! But guess what, you all would! And you all did!”
Her S/O sighed. “Miu, calm down.”
“‘Calm down’?! What do you mean, ‘calm down’?! I’m already as fucking calm as fucking calm can get-”
“Miu, shut your damn mouth! Jesus Christ, can you let me get a fucking word in?!”
“Heeeeeeeeeeeee!” the Ultimate Inventor winced. “W-w-what?! J-just s-s-sp-spit it out!”
“Miu, I promise you, there is nothing going on between me that dumb girl. If you still don’t believe me, then I’ve got a receipt from the library, and it shows me checking out a book at the time when I was supposedly fucking that girl. I’ll tell you as many times as it takes; you’re the only one for me. Okay?”
Miu blinked and pause for a few seconds, debating on whether or not to make him take out the evidence. However, she soon shook her head. “It’s... It’s fine, you don’t need to show me the receipt. I believe you.” She hesitantly placed a finger on her chin, a blush creeping to her cheeks. “Maybe... I overreacted a little.”
You fucking think? her S/O thought. As desperately as he wanted to say this out loud, he bit back the scalding remark.
“Miu, about me sounding ‘like every other fucking boy’... I know you’ve been hurt in the past. But I promise you on my life, I will never hurt you like those assholes did. I love you too much for that,” he said determinedly.
She sniffled. “Are you sure you’re not just talking about loving m-my body? You promise you won’t treat me like a...” She averted her gaze and swallowed. “A f-filthy whore?”
“I promise. I love you for who you are. The smoking hot body is just a bonus,” he joked.
Luckily, that did just the trick. Miu laughed, finally looking at ease for the first time that day.
Her S/O cocked an eyebrow. “Geez, that was pretty damn stressful. I hope you can make up for the pointless argument somehow...?”
The Ultimate Inventor giggled, her eyes lighting up. “Oh, I think I have an idea.”
She pulled him into a kiss.
Maki Harukawa
Maki and her S/O had been dating for several weeks now. It started when her S/O had confessed to her on Valentine’s Day, much to the assassin’s surprise, of course. In fact, she had initially thought this was some sick prank and asked them if they wanted to die. Luckily for her S/O, things were quickly cleared up (without anyone getting killed), and their feelings were able to come through to her.
Maki had turned away from her S/O to hide her blushing face. “I... may like you too,” she had begrudgingly admitted, accepting their chocolates.
Over a month filled with dates, presents, and embarrassed smiles followed. Both Maki and her S/O never wanted this to end...
But over time, her S/O started noticing something off with the Ultimate Assassin. It was extremely gradual, yet they were able to notice it after becoming so close with the formerly ice-cold girl. At first, it was small things like not making as much conversation when they were together, or essentially running straight home after a school day ended, muttering an inaudible excuse under her breath.
Her S/O had assumed she might just be going through a rough patch in her life, and thought it was better to not intervene. After all, if it was really important, she would tell me, right...? they thought, trying to reassure themself.
However, a few weeks passed and the truth was dreadfully clear: Maki had slowly started detaching herself from her S/O, much to their dismay. After poring over whether or not to confront her about this, they ultimately decided it would be better to talk about this situation before she faded completely out of their life.
One night, Maki’s S/O timidly dialed her number. A few miles away, the Ultimate Assassin’s phone rang. She checked the Caller ID, hesitated for a few seconds, but then reluctantly picked up her phone.
“Hey,” she said.
“Hi Maki, I, uh, hope I’m not disturbing you or anything?”
“Of course not. What is it, S/O?”
They swallowed. “I wanted to talk to you about something. Something serious.”
“Yes?”
Her S/O knew there was no roundabout way of confronting her about this. They took a deep breath. “Maki, I know you’ve been avoiding me. I’ve known for a while, and I’d like to know why. I’m sorry if I did something to you, and I’ll try to make up for it if I can.” Another shaky breath. “I mean if you’d allow me to make up for whatever it is I did, of course. I understand if you’ve been pushing away because you aren’t interested in me anymore. If you want to cut ties-”
“No!” Maki’s sudden outburst caught the two both by surprise.
“W-what?” Her S/O wiped away tears they didn’t even realize had been forming.
"I’m still interested in you!” Maki yelled quickly. She then paused, trying to find the right way to express what she was trying to say. “I... I never want to cut ties with you. I’m sorry for pushing away from you; I was wrong.”
“But... Then why? Why are you avoiding me?” they asked.
An uncomfortable silence ensued, leaving Maki’s S/O to wonder, once again, if they’d done something wrong.
After what seemed like forever, Maki took a breath. “I’ve seen that other girl hanging with you. The one who playfully punches you, sometimes even hugs you, and enjoys your company so much?”
Her S/O took a few seconds to try and remember who she was referring to. “Who...?”
“The one with curly black hair. I can tell she likes you a lot. And every time you guys spend time together, I-” Maki paused, taking a moment to steel her nerves. “I get jealous. Way too jealous, to the point where I scare myself. So I decided to do you two a favor and gradually step back. That girl really is a good person, you know. Kind, funny, beautiful... Probably hasn’t killed anyone before either,” the assassin added, a bitter laugh leaving her lips.
Her S/O was stunned. “What? M-Maki, I-”
“I’m sure you two would make a great couple.”
“Listen to me-”
“You wouldn’t have to be ashamed of your girlfriend anymore-”
“Maki, please, shut up and let me speak! You don’t need to worry about making it easier for me to leave you for another girl because there never will be another girl! You’re all I will ever need, and I love you!”
Maki’s S/O felt a tad guilty for raising their voice, but the most important thing right now was getting their message through to her.
“There has never once been a time when I’ve been ashamed of you! Even if there are things you regret, the past is just that: the past. You’ve grown so much since then, and every day you’re becoming an even more amazing person! I can only dream of being able to change myself for the better so consistently, so drastically, and so determinedly!” Her S/O paused to take a deep breath, steadying their voice before continuing. “Maki, I’ve never been ashamed of you, and I never will be. I’m so, so proud of you.”
The facade Maki had been holding throughout the phone call finally broke. As tears began flowing from her eyes, she raised her free hand to hide her reddening face, despite no one being there to see her. Her sobs were heard through the cell phone.
“It’s okay, Maki. Let it all out. Things will be okay. We will be okay,” they consoled her.
Despite her shuddering breaths, Maki still attempted to keep her composure. “I-I’m sorry. This whole misunderstanding was because of my dumb insecurities-”
“Maki, you don’t need to apologize. I’m glad we talked this through. I... I love you so much.”
A few seconds of quiet sobbing passed, but amidst the muffled sniffles and hiccups, Maki’s S/O caught four words.
“I love you too.”
Kirumi Tojo
After an exhausting school day, Kirumi’s S/O decided to invite the maid over to their house for some relaxing afternoon tea. They sat in comfortable silence for several minutes, just enjoying each other’s company. However, after setting the cups in the sink and resisting the urge to wash the dishes (every time she came over, her S/O insisted she not do any housework) the silence was broken by Kirumi.
“...S/O, if I’m not mistaken, when we first started dating, you requested that I never hide anything important from you, correct?”
Kirumi’s S/O glanced across the dining room table. “Yeah, why do you ask? Is something wrong?”
The Ultimate Maid hesitated. She felt bad for bothering her partner with something like this, something, in her mind, so very selfish. However, she cleared her throat, prepping herself to speak her mind. Despite her servant instincts imploring her to stay quiet, she knew that a request was a request. That simple fact overrode all her other thoughts.
“I... I have felt, as of late, that my duties as a girlfriend have not been up to standards,” she expressed.
“Your duties... as a girlfriend?” her S/O asked, a bit confused.
“Yes. I have done my best to fulfill your every request, but I’m aware that love does not sprout from shallow actions like that. I’m afraid that...” Kirumi trailed off, unable to finish her sentiment.
Her S/O sat up from his chair, walked up to the maid, and guided her over to the living room couch. Now sitting side by side, they took her hands in their’s. “Kirumi, where is this all coming from?”
She took a deep breath. “To tell the complete truth, this thought has been pestering me for a while.”
“Huh? Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” her S/O asked, concerned. They squeezed her hands encouragingly, knowing how difficult it was for Kirumi to talk about anything related to herself.
“It wasn’t a big deal, so I believed it wouldn’t be wise to concern you.” She smiled meekly.
“Oh, Kirumi, you know you can tell me anything,” they said. “But I’m curious, why the change of heart?”
“Well, it has to do with-“ She averted her gaze. “With this other girl. The way she touched you and looked at you... It all made me realize how I’ve been failing as a girlfriend.”
It was time for her S/O to avert their gaze, this time in embarrassment. “Oh, that girl. Yeah, that was extremely uncomfortable. But how did that make you think you’re failing?”
A long bout of silence ensued as Kirumi, once again, gathered the courage to express herself.
“It...” A deep breath. “It made me think of the more... more sensual side of a relationship.”
The two both avoided eye contact as blood rushed to their faces.
“O-oh? Why is, uh, is that?” her S/O stuttered out a reply.
“I know that, to some, sensual things like kissing, cuddling, and, ah, intercourse, are important to a close relationship. Yet, it appears you’ve never asked anything of that sort with me.” She paused. “Er, not that it’s your fault! I know some people don’t desire that type of intimacy! If you aren’t interested in such actions, then that is completely fine!” Kirumi uncharacteristically sputtered quickly.
“...Oh. Well, I’d be lying i-if I said that, uh, the thought never occurred,” they sheepishly admitted.
“Ah, that is...” Kirumi laughed. “A great source of relief, a-as vulgar as that makes me seem.”
“Don’t worry about it. If anything, I’m the vulgar one here,” her S/O chuckled. “I do have a question though,” she stated. “If you’ve been interested in anything at all, why not say so? You’d know I’d never turn you down.”
Kirumi’s S/O frowned. “But that’s just the thing. I feared you would take what I wanted as an order, and do it without determining if you yourself really wanted it.”
“That’s actually a bit ironic.” Kirumi smiled.
“How so?”
“I never asked anything of you because I was afraid such a request wouldn’t befit someone of my position,” she admitted.
Her S/O laughed. “Someone of your position? What are you talking about? To me, you’re not a maid, you’re my girlfriend and nothing less!”
“I guess I have been a bit too... reluctant to speak my mind.” Kirumi turned away from them, a bit embarrassed.
Her S/O gently cupped her chin and turned her to face them. Looking into her beautiful eyes, they grinned. “Well, let’s start changing that, shall we? Tell me, is there anything you’d like to do?”
Gaining confidence from their soft, inviting gaze, Kirumi smiled back. “A... A kiss would be nice. If you’re fine with it, of course.”
Without a word in reply, her S/O slowly pulled her in and planted a sweet, loving first kiss on her lips.

Taking a break
Even though I am already kind of on a hiatus, I want to make it official. I haven’t had much motivation to work on the blog recently and I believe the other mods have been quite busy as well. Busy to the point where Mod Kirumi has decided to leave the blog, for now, to focus on school. It’s sad to see her go after not posting on the blog yet, but I appreciate her anyway.
So apart from this, I have decided to take a break from the blog for just a little bit to collect my thoughts and feel better irl. The blog means a lot to me and the support I’ve been getting means the world to me. But my own mental health and other priorities come first.
I hope you guys can all understand! I’ll see you when I see you.
