I think for the FTSM AU to make more sense, I think a mythical apocalypse happened. Dragons appeared, griffin's, all of that good stuff and just.. humans had to go into hiding and stuff,

So Sun and Moon and them were already made BEFORE that and was taken in by people who liked dragons and added "take care of hatchlings" to their coding.

So a cool image could be a dragon just chilling, coiled around a skyscraper.

Painter ran through the halls, his makeshift tail (literally a plug in lmao) wagging around behind him as he zoomed through. His legs carrying him.

Gosh, he loved his new body! He could move around freely without anyone to stop him!! He wasn’t stuck in that blasted room hooked up to urbanshade’s shit anymore—He felt so free.

He waved excitedly as he ran past Astrid and Calder, a childish smile gleaming on his screen. He soon skidded to a stop infront of Seb’s shop and crouched down to crawl in. “ Sebby, Sebby!!! “

“ Hm.. yeah, Pai? “ Seb said, half distracted as he looked through some files and organized them. His tail curled under him as he held files in all three of his hands.

“ Look!! “ Painter exclaimed, jumping upright and showing off his new body. His tail wagging. Though it sagged slightly as he noticed his brother wasn’t looking.

He let out an annoyed huff as his hand slowly turned into his turret, carefully lifting it up then shooting at the wall. Startling the bigger one.

“ Jesus Christ, Painter, what— “ Sebastian cut himself off as he turned and noticed *Painter literally standing there.*

“ How’d you get a body? “ He asked, slithering over to the smaller and lifting his arm with a gentle touch to not crush the casting as he inspected it.

“ Xavier and Orion helped me make and build it, but Glitchy helped with the techy stuff!! “ Painter giggled, his hands flapping as his stimmed and spun around. Obviously excited to finally be able to move.

“ Definitely an upgrade, how does it feel? “

“ It feels great! I just ran down through like 50 doors on the way here— and I saw Astrid and Caldy on the way! It’s so easy to run around, why did I have a body before?! I LOVE IT SO MUCH! “ Painter rambled, his screen glitching slightly out of pure excitement as he spun around and stimmed, his hands flapping.

Sebastian watched, tilting his head slightly as he gently smiled. It’s been awhile since he’s seen his brother this happy, or.. even moving. It felt nice to experience it again.

“ Guess what you can do now, too. “

“ What? “ Painter asked, pausing his movement as he looked towards Sebastian.

Sebastian soon opened his arms in a hug motion, a smile on his face as he waited for the other to realize.

Painter stared, a bit confused before realizing and let out a big gasp. “ I CAN HUG YOU!! “ he exclaimed as he ran and quite literally jumped into his brothers arms.

“ There you go, silly. “ Sebastian chuckled as he held the other close. He wouldn’t admit it, but he always imagined when he’d be able to hug his brother, or.. if it would even happen.

Now it can, and he was happy Painter could do more too.

Painter backed away, a big grin painted on his screen as he started rambling about all of the stuff he could do now, all the people he could see and visit and check in on and hug. Just everything.

And Sebastian sat there, his hands folded infront of him as he listened. A small, gentle smile on his lips.

He was content,

He was happy.

Alright, some (quick?) things about FTSM because yes.

In this world, dragons are sentient creatures somewhat working with humans and stuff. When the dragons who willingly work with humans, the humans are called Dragonriders. When the dragons who do not willingly work with humans, the humans are called Dragonravagers. Dragonravagers are the main problem with them collecting hatchlings (preferably) and training them up to be weapons or workers or just straight up tools. The older dragons all understand why they're doing this.

Dragonriders are actively fighting against Dragonravagers to try and free the dragons and hatchlings from their chains. But, there are groups of non-dragonriders who despise dragons for the destruction they've caused and some have even created weapons made to slay dragons. There are also some who just don't care, as long as things become good in the end.

Sun, Moon and Y/N all have separate perspectives on the matter, but are all fighting against the Dragonravagers. Eclipse is a special case, <3
