if there’s another rescue that involves two kids where the big brother is worried about his little brother i want chimney to comfort the big brother by pointing to buck who’s maybe a bit further away doing stuff and going ‘you see? that’s my little brother. he may be all big and strong but i still worry, every day. that’s what big brothers do.’

because that’s as much his baby brother as maddie’s and i stand by that 🙂‍↔️

(maybe eddie overhears that little convo and tells buck later who then gives chimney another one of his cuddly hugs and calls it the little brother special)

8x14 and 8x15 have finally aired in Australia and I'm watching sick day and I genuinely dont think I can cope with this stress.

I love rewatching episodes but I dont think I'll ever watch these again. A part of me is glad I know what happens I dont think I could have watched this in real time. I am as stressed as Buck right now.

“Buck, you get checked out?” Hen asks. Something she always asks him, even if he didn't run into a burning kitchen that collapsed.

Buck leans against the truck casually, giving her what he thinks is his winning smile. He's been told it's very winning - and he's also been told it's on the side of cheeky. But a wins a win in his book. The tip of his tongue is ready to tell her that he's all good. He is all good, it's probably just a bruise. Nothing to cry about- nor worry anyone over when they've almost made it to the end of shift.

Before he can, a voice behind him speaks up.

“No he hasn't.”

Buck does not jump a foot in the air at the probie's voice.
