I entered the Film Supply Editing Competition this year. If I win (which is a long shot), it would be a really big deal for my career. It’s been incredibly hard for me to break into the industry, and this could possibly give me more of a leg up as people from the industry will be watching the submissions.

It’s been a dream of mine to edit trailers for movies and tv and eventually see one on the big screen. The fan art I’ve made over the years has been a small way I’ve tried to quench that dream while working toward something bigger.

This is probably one of my favorite edits I have done. I was fortunate enough to collaborate with Singer/Songwriter Charlie Couvillion, who sampled the Severance theme song and transformed it into an amazing cover. It's a banger. I hope you all enjoy this little passion project. Praise Kier.

I had an idea of turning Bridgerton season 3 into a horror film after watching the "Bridgerton Buzzfeed Puppy Interview" where Luke Thompson stated that he would be scared of being in a horror film. I wasn't sure if many people would enjoy it. I told a couple of friends about the idea and they all said it would be fun. So I thank them for this even existing.

I’ve done a similar edit like this in the past, but I really wanted to enhance the concept this time. This video came about because my friend Becca wanted to see Penelope and Colin’s wedding and their wedding dance to the song "Dandelions." I centered this edit around their wedding and incorporated their whole love story through double exposure.

All the video clips with folders in them each have a smaller individual timeline inside called precomps. This project had over 30 different rotoscoped shots and took over 40 hours to make.

The Art and The Timeline (Part 1/2)

It's been a fun year of editing fan videos for Bridgerton. It started last year in December. I was on two 15-hour flights (SLC to Italy). I thought, "We have been waiting for 2 years for a trailer. I might as well make my own....?" This became the first edit I did for the show. A conceptual trailer for season three.

I had the idea of using a show's sound effects as a musical instrument on the back burner for a while. After hearing the song "Sword Sparring" by Ghostwriter I knew Bridgerton would be the show to choose. This edit was super fun but it took a lot of research. The end result was worth it though.

Every year I like to work with a composer friend of mine to create an inspired cover/original song for an edit. This year's choice was for season three. Specifically Colin and Penelope's relationship. This video took about four months to put together and I had many wonderful people help me with it. From musicians, artists, colorists, and friends who translated it into five other languages. It was a big team effort.

Put a finger down if you worked with a composer friend for several months to create a Bridgerton-inspired cover of "That Way." Then you hired musicians to play it for you. Then you spent another month doing research, asked several friends to help you translate, designed some 3D audio, and hired your colorist friend so your neurodivergent brain could "feel" the character's emotions more... And you did this all for an edit. Because you are insane and can't ever make anything simple..... Oh just me..... Damn.

This edit was created before S3 PT2. So it is Polin's story up until S3 PT1.
