ABOUT LOVE... 💛💜💙 . When I first arrived in this city I fell in love with it. The charm, the beauty, the energy, the vibrancy, the history... All of it makes Cartagena be a city that makes you wanna live here. . I felt like home the moment I arrived. I made new friends that felt like a lifetime of resonances. I ate in so many beautiful and delicious restaurants and still have just seen the tip of the iceberg. The ocean and the skyline landscape, along with and the island diversity makes this city be... A match made in heaven. . This is how I felt when I chose to follow my intuition and stay a little longer, and a little longer, until all of a sudden, I am literally locked here... . That is right! Lockdown it is. Here I am living in Cartagena during the most unique times of our historic timeline. We are here experiencing a different world than we were used to. The population in this island depends on tourism to generate income. Colombia has been on lockdown for over 30 days already. Airports are shutdown and businesses are closed. . We must now look into new systems, new ways of living, new ways of generating resources. It is time to wake up and question our current situation! Where do we draw the line? 🌎🤔 We are not allowed to relax at the beach in the open air. We are not allowed to go camping. We are not allowed to go surfing. We are not allowed to sit in a park / forest enjoying nature. We are not allowed to go for a leisurely drive if it is 'not essential'. We are not allowed to visit our close family and friends (even if we maintain ‘social distancing’). Yet hundreds of people can go shopping at Kmart & David Jones at the same time to buy crap they don’t need? Neighbors are dobbing in people who leave their home without "appropriate reason". Suddenly mandatory vaccination is on the agenda as a "solution" & were made to beleive that were being “rescued” by our government (aka bill gates) Tracking of our location and our movements are happening. 5G is rolling out as speak (or sleep) And suddenly every living cell will be affected overnight by its radiation, including our bee’s. ABOUT THE SUN... 💛💜💙 . During my incredible 5 months in Maui, Hawaii, I was inspired to begin an ancient ritual of contemplating the sun. . As a lover of sunset photography, I naturally spent my afternoons by the lanai capturing photos of the gorgeous spectacle sunsets of Hawaii. . During that time I began to observe the sunsets in a more conscious way. And that is when sungazing became a major component on my awakening process. . There is a lot be be said about sungazing and the power of staring at the sun during the last 8 minutes before it merges with the ocean, down into the horizon line. . The golden light, pure prana energy, source of life force, when it goes through your eyes while in a perfect angle to ignite your pineal gland and activate the connection with your intuition. . One of the most ancient tribes in the world lives in the area, far up in the mountains and in complete seclusion from civilization. . Sorria você esta em Caraíva... means: Smile, you are in Caraíva! . And that is definitely a great reason to smile. This little fisherman's village is covered with unique characteristics that are hard to find anywhere else in the world. . First you walk on fluffy sand streets and the only transportation other than your feet is by "Juber" a jegue (donkey). . Caraíva is a small strip of sand bathed by a river on the left and the ocean on the right. You can only arrive by crossing the river with a canoe. . The village maintain is tradition and is pretty much governed by the rules of the indian reserve in which Caraíva is a pretty much a part of. . Here you will find a lot of dancing until the sun rise, a rustic but charming environment, amazing dining, and one of the most gorgeous skies filled with stars... Since Caraíva has barely any street lights. . The pousadas (bed & breakfast) are so charming and serves a delicious and rich Brazilian breakfast that will make you want to wake up, despite the fact you were dancing forró (the traditional dance of Brazil) until 5am. . The crowd vibe is hip and trendy but also chill and cool and the most interesting part is that the locals, natives and indians all mesh together in the same environment... Making this melting pot of culture and tradition a very enriching experience. . Caraíva is above all a sacred land, a vortex of energy and a magical site, attracting a conscious community and very interesting people from all over the world. . If you would like to go visit this magical land and experience the most gorgeous sunrises on the beach and sunsets on the river, you must be up for an adventure. .
