Dani is very comfortable with speaking her mind, doesn’t really like to talk around stuff. Truth hurts, but it’s better being lied to that will only protect you for a moment in time and just hurt you in the end anyways. She’ll never be mean about it though, unless they ask for it.

Nope not at all, she hates liars the most. Dani had been lied too many times and after a while she just got tired, and will not take that stuff lightly.

Dani is the opposite, and considered the chill type. While at work they expect a lot of her, it already takes enough energy to be running around, catching bad guys, that she rather just wear her pyjama’s and watch Netflix on TV with a glass of red wine.

“hey, hey, unnie-“ jisoo whispers as she pulls up the white stockings to her sailor mars costume. she was never a huge anime fan, however, it was always easier to go with a popular and recognizible costume than have people constantly ask you what you were. the infamous quote from mean girls about im a mouse… duh, coming to mind and it almost made her shiver.

“was it a good idea to have that bottle of wine before we came here?“ the younger asks, brows furrowing as she looks up at dani. it definitely was fun, but they were also walking around tipsy in a haunted house inside an university… “is this even legal now?“ jisoo ads as she purses her lips tightly in a thin line. she knew it wasn’t exactly illegal, but she didn’t want to chill in the police station because of anything a tad bit over reactive on her side. then again, she has seen worse stuff as a few memories come to mind as she lets her gaze go over the different 

Dani loved Halloween, loved dressing up and decorating the house into her own personal haunted house. Of course, she had to give Hideji the puppy eyes before he even let her put anything related to pumpkins on the walls. Horror movies were even better, as she was planning to watch all of the good classics through the rest of October.

“It is always a good idea to have a bottle of wine before going anywhere.” Her cheeks were pink, partly by the blush she had put on and the rest of the amount of alcohol she had before putting on her sailor Jupiter costume, complimentary to the sailor mars outfit that Jisoo was wearing. --- “I mean we can be drunk, we just can’t bring bottles, which is a bummer.” If it were her, they would’ve brought one of those with them, while being in the haunted house. If it was too scary, they could always throw wine at the monsters. “They told me that this was is like really realistic and made a few people piss their pants.” She was snickering about it as she said it, rubbing her hands as she was eager to get inside.

Maybe a little too much? It probably helps with her being a cop and being inclined to help people, but she was always heartwarming enough, caring enough to put herself out there for others. Sometimes people don’t want it from her, but she still tends to put it out there and will try to help you anyways.

Can he trust Dani?

Once upon a time, the answer would have been of course. Now, he wasn’t so sure. They both changed - if he did, then she might have as well. These dealings with Phoenix, what were they?

“Stay away from the other gangs. Go back to Seoul, Dani, and be with your family.”

She didn’t break into pieces, tears didn’t appear in her eyes. There should be joy, acceptance, the ease of the heart, but all in all, she just felt exhausted. Kyungsoo had been on her mind ever since he left, she had been in love with him, confessed it to him with the simplicity of words before they parted, without actually saying it as it was meant to, but she was, and with how they came to be in this situation, it was clear something had changed, but it was hard for her to figure out what actually had.

Deep down, it was a relief that all the bad she thought about her best friend was nothing real, or she hoped it wasn’t. It did make sense that he was undercover, it made way more sense of him turning his back on everyone and joining a gang, especially his sister. That wound wasn’t even her own, and it had nearly killed her.

Did he trust her, though? He seemed uncertain, almost careful. It was easy to read in his eyes, something they could only do to each other when it came to emotions and feelings, it’s what made them realize it was more to them than just a simple friendship.

It was hard to be mad still when there was an apparent reason he had ignored you for a full year and more.

Her eyes narrowed, back when she was younger, she would’ve listened to him. “You know I can’t, so long you’re here. I’m not going.” Dani was also still extremely stubborn; that didn’t change, he should know by now, telling her to do things didn’t actually work. “I--- They murdered my brother, K. I can’t leave after that.”

Besides suffering from a hero complex, Dani has never had the urge to act mean to anyone or would leave anyone behind (she’s aggressive, but that’s something else) . She cared for her roommates and cares for her roommate now, her colleagues are considered family and would do anything for them. She’s the type that worries, little bit like the mom friend, but acts more like your dad. 

28. is your muse disrespectful?

As in casually and being part of her personality than no. Totally when it comes to her job it’s a given that you have to learn how to be respectful of people and be a decent human being among others. I mean she will punch you if you’re being a smart ass, but that’s more like people being disrespectful against her and not the other way around.

79. is your muse selfish?

No not at all, at least not where it’s troublesome. She got some things that she would be selfish about, but it’s always someone else first and then her second. it’s also obvious in her lifestyle. Doesn’t care much about ‘things’, and would do anything to help. If she had to be selfish it be for @hunterxmi because he’s just someone she can’t let go of.

He had intended to feed her another lie, one that was much more believable and held a grain of truth. The words maybe I just want revenge was on his tongue but her next few sentences made him change his plans.

“What do you mean, buddying up with Phoenix?” Kyungsoo asked, eyes narrowing darkly. “You should not get yourself involved with gangs,” he said, knowing it was pointless, coming from him. In fact, she was probably ready to retort the second she heard him speak. 

Though the way she spoke suggested her involvement with the gang was due to her brother, Kyungsoo also felt like he was partly to blame. If he was still in the police force, there would be no way she’d embrace chaotic energy like this. Though his cover must remain intact, if he didn’t try to stop her from continuing down this path and something was to happen to Dani, Kyungsoo knew he would never be able to forgive himself.

“Does the chief know?” He asked, drawing her eyes towards the table with two light taps of his finger before writing because I will tell her. He looked up after he wrote the line, using his other hand as a shield in an attempt to ensure the words would be for her eyes alone. He waited to see if that would be enough of a hint, or if he needed to give her more. This situation was getting dangerous and Kyungsoo really hoped he wasn’t making the biggest mistake of his career. 

It was probably her fault; with both of the gangs on her trail. So far, she was sure that Hydrus didn’t know anything or that they were just getting more suspicious. Phoenix was a whole other story, and then there were all the pictures of her in that storage room, documents of people disappearing because they were after her. Her brother brought in trouble, and now she probably had to clean it all up.

“It’s a long story.” She answered him with a defeated sigh, it was also too much information to dwell on, a sore moment in her life right now. Also, no matter their history, he was still part of that gang right now ---How much was he going to eventually share if she actually told him what was going on?

But she froze completely, at first she was confused why he suddenly made the decision to start drawing... until she followed his fingers, how the shapes formed into letters, and then became words until the words became a sentence. Dani’s gaze doesn’t leave his fingers for a while, the sentence going around in her head as her brows furrowed thoroughly. “I don’t understand...” She was muttering it, didn’t mean to say it out loud, confused, but also it all started to make so much sense. So she writes --- Are you .... yes or no?

“is there anything i can do - do to help? with all this?”

A piece of glass crunched beneath her heavy combat boot as she walked through the large now broken window of the front door. They really did a number on this one, left nothing behind, just broken glass, and crying flowers as their petals fell from their heads. If it weren’t for the fact that they were only plants, it would’ve reminded her of a massacre.

The man in front of her looked distressed, glassy eyes, but it was more angry than sad, frustration coming off him like steam. She couldn’t blame him. They really went in there to leave nothing behind for him. It made her question if it were kids who did this or someone else entirely.

“We’ll have to see if there are any kind of fingerprints or evidence that will tell us who these people are,” Dani explained to the victim gently, letting the other officers continue to look around.

It wasn’t exactly her job, but they were low on officers again and apparently she was qualified to solve cases like people breaking into flower shops.

“Hmm, do you have any idea who might do this? Like got some enemies, maybe? Gang activity is no joke on the island.”

yeah, no. pretty good until it came to police. the young hacker rubbed his neck in an awkward motion. “uh. and i was running because i wanted to exercise- uh, i didn’t hear you calling after me, thought you meant someone different, ya know?” an awkward smile curled around taeyong’s lips.

Her hand smashes against the wooden panel behind him, forcing the blue-haired male to take a step back again, let the wall dig into his back, caging him in. Dani’s eyes were narrowed entirely, suspicion clouding her features, her gaze taking in the tips of blue on the crown of the person’s head to the shuffling of his feet.

She really gave him credit for trying to talk himself out of this one. Any typical officer would’ve fallen for it. The kind citizen act was a good lie as of any to get yourself out of possible jail time, but sadly enough, she was none of that and have been in situations sufficient to know the difference. “Everyone feels unsafe here.” Was her first dry reply, her face came closer, hoping that he would sweat a little, get nervous.

“Doesn’t explain you lurking through halls that no authority has a passage for. I also know for sure that you’re not a relative either.”

Then he continued, and she couldn’t help but laugh, shaking her head. “Look, if you just tell me what you were actually doing there. I might let you go? It’s easier, hmm?”

Was she lying? Maybe? He did broke in, and if he stole something, that could cause a lot of trouble. Files being sent out into the public or taken into the wrong hands was the last thing they needed from this.

“What did you steal?”
