I just love the scene where Lorsan almost died bc he was alone somewhere (no I'm not happy he almost died, I'm not done yet lol), but he was saved by Gavene, Lyca, Bryon and Eironn. Then, Lyca and Bryon were scolding him bc he had the audacity to joke around after that;

but Eironn — the stoic sword guy — smiled at him after he apologized for his joke.

I imagine it's a relieved kind of smile, mixed with amusement of Lorsan's antics. lol Oh, and Eironn quickly changed the topic when Lorsan pointed out his smile. ಠ⁠◡⁠ಠ

I told my friend, "It's hard not to ship them when they have an interesting dynamic and they also have cute moments like this." He laughed and said, "Why not ship Eironn with Lyca if you actually want to stop yourself from shipping them?" Well...

(For context, Florabelle was Lyca and Eironn's upperclassman back then.)

Even before talking to Florabelle, Lyca was already kinda flustered when she learned they (the group including Gavene) had to go to Jade Lake Academy. When Eironn mentioned about Florabelle being a teacher there, Lyca literally said: "R-Really? I don't remember..." Yeah, right, Lyca. XD

It's funny how some scenes after this, Bryon got hit on by a random Wilder woman. He's like the straight guy of the group who's popular with the ladies bc of his mature vibe and good looks despite the upper-half mask which only made him more attractive bc of the air of mystery it gives. lol

Если долго смотреть на Вселенную, то можно понять: человек и Вселенная не так уж и отличаются друг от друга...

Я не большой фанат аниме и смотрю его крайне редко. Но трейлер этой картины показался мне невероятно красивым и завораживающим, поэтому решила все таки увидеть полноценную работу.

Фильм расскажет нам историю, которая случилась одним летом с школьницей Рукой. В первый день летних каникул, в океанариуме, девочка знакомится с необычными братьями - Уми и Сору (Небо и Море). Когда то этих ребят нашли в море и с тех пор исследуют, т.к. мальчики обладают сверхъестественными способностями и всю свою жизнь прожили в море. Братьям осталось жить недолго, но и у них есть секрет. Зная о приближающемся конце братья решают передать свою тайну новой подруге - Руке.

Мы все светимся, чтобы нас нашли...

Параллельно знакомству и зарождению дружбы между тремя детьми нам показывают необычные изменения среди морских жителей...среди учёных и любителей-исследователей океанов ходят слухе о неком "празднике"...Одним словом, в фильме происходит одновременно все и ничего. Вот мы видим огромного кита в центре Лондона, а в следующем кадре - разбитая коленка Руки.

Картинка и история складывается настолько незаметно и плавно, что к концу фильма ты даже не понимаешь, что прошло 2 часа хочется смотреть ещё и ещё. Ведь помимо красивой истории в этой работе головокружительно красивая графика и цветовой ряд. Океан, океан и снова океан. Во всех его ипостасях. Глубокий, загадочный и ошеломляющий. И крайне метафорический...океан здесь и Вселенная и человек и море... Вообще в этой истории очень много метафор и аллегорий, причем они настолько органичны, что легко вплетаются в сюжет. Пожалуй они и сами сюжет, вот так. Решайте сами что я имела ввиду)

В свечении звёзд нет радости. есть только печаль. Они светят так ярко, но все равно погаснут...

Ради такой красивой и тщательно продуманной иллюстрации хочется чтобы фильм длился как можно дольше. Зритель вместе с героями погружается в море и влюбляется в него. Крепко и навсегда.

Но, мне бы не так понравилось, если в фильме не было какой то логической загадки. Обожаю когда кино заставляет зрителя думать, даёт нам пищу для размышлений. И эта история именно такая. Но, все философские вопросы поданы настолько легко и доступно, что при просмотре зритель не ощущает какой то тяжести или нравоучения. А вопрос довольно банальный, но в тоже время и сложный, ведь ответов на него бесконечно много.

- Кто мы? Откуда мы? И что дальше, за пределами наших знаний?

Что ж, может быть однажды мы найдем точные ответы на все свои вопросы, ну а пока давайте сидеть на берегу и размышлять о вечном, мечтать и осуществлять свои мечты. Может быть смыл именно в этом?

I watched this anime movie called Children of the sea, recently, and the character Sora, had an interesting, philosophical, point of view on life. It kind of pertains to Solipsism.

He said that the "life", the "Reality" we know rn, is just someone's memory. (And this would pertain to the ideology of god[s] if you're the spiritual / religious type.) And that all those ideas, are just fragments, until they connect with another, (like magnets.) Then another connects to those, and so on and so forth, until it gets so big, that it creates a whole galaxy, with planets and a sun, and all that, and then we humans come along. (This would pertain to the scientific [biological] process of evolution.)

And just like any star, those memories slowly die off. (like when ur telling someone a childhood story and you start forgetting details as u get older.) And those stars go supernova, and create a black hole.

This destroys everything in its path, and that's where the ideology of physical death comes from. (or human bodies, and animal bodies, die, but not our souls/energy.) (Which pertains to the spiritual belief / ideology, of reincarnation.)

That would restart the whole process over again. But the kicker, is that all of that, is just another memory.

Just thought I'd share, cause It resonates with me a lot.
