Interesting crystals. I believe I have seen a few trainers around here with those, or something like them. I am not yet fully familiar with them or their effects, but I believe they are color-coded based on either a single type. That, or the primary typing of an associated Pokemon. I am not certain how you would differentiate between a "typed" crystal and a "species" crystal, but it stands to reason that crystals associated with a type tend to be more common. Allow others to correct me if I am wrong, but I believe gray is often associated with the Normal Type, while that particular shade of pink is for the Fairy Type. The brown could be one of two, but it seems more likely to be a Rock Type crystal, with the red one being Fire Type. - Magolor (@magolor-pkmnirl)

I suppose it makes sense they’d be those types. I actually watched a video of these Z-Moves being used, and they’re very impressive! A little scary looking, but still impressive.

Let’s see… notice how it looks like there’s different symbols in each of those crystals? Well, based on looking at them, you’ve gotten a Z-Crystal for the types your (and Starwalker's) team is, those being Fire, Fairy, Normal, and Rock. As for what a Z-Move is, it’s a supercharged move powered by the strength a trainer and their Pokemon have with one another. They’re also only found in the Alola region, which is most likely where that other guy got the Drampa and Rockruff from. Though, I’d recommend getting more accustomed to things in this world first if you ever want to use Z-Moves in the future. Are you still looking for a goal or hobby with Paldea's gym leaders as inspirations, by the way?

[Pelipper mail! Well, as per usual to the mysterious sender of the handwritten booklets, it appears out of nowhere, with no Pelipper nor a Corviknight in sight. The booklet details Drampa care, including how to best respond to their gentle yet protective nature around those they befriend, and it's complete with a hand-drawn picture of the Pokemon. Moments after, six berries, which look similar to strawberry guavas, and a note marked by that signature red heart show up:] “Once again, glad to see that you’re back! If Starwalker wants to ask any questions regarding the Rockruff line, or even get a care booklet, they’re free to ask! Those berries I sent you by the way, they’re Haban berries, one for each of you to try! But maybe boil them down first if you don’t like bitter flavors, doing so helps bring the berry’s sweetness. Oh yeah! Did someone else give you Z-Crystals too? If you’d like, send a picture of them, and I could identify which ones were gifted.”

Thank you so much! I gave a berry to everyone and I think Sage liked it! Taffy made a bit of a face though. You were right about it being bitter, but it wasn’t bad!

Hmm… I thought of three! There's Sage, Dumpling, and Pitaya, let's see if Drampa likes any of those names! Oh, and would you and Starwalker want any care booklets for those Pokemon?

Oh wonderful! Lets see… I think he prefers Sage! Sage it is then :)

Care booklets would be nice! Drampa isn’t native to Paldea so I haven’t been able to find care books or guides in the library about it. And aside from a few barebones guides, I can’t find much online either. I think Starwalker is okay with their Rockruff, but some advice would still be nice!

Yes hello! So sorry I disappeared! We’re all doing good, the accident wasn’t anything major. Starwalker is adjusting much better than I am! I don’t think they need a name suggestion for their Rockruff (they have a different theme going on with their Pokémon’s names) but a suggestion for the Drampa would be nice :)

I’ve taken the two new Pokémon to my Pokémon center and given them a look over. They’re both healthy! I think Starwalker plans on training Rockruff? They said something about a sandstorm….

Anyways, now I just need to figure out what this band and these crystals are :)

*You see your Tinkatuff launching stones at a shiny Corviknight with a yellow flower on its head. The Corviknight is surprisingly agile but seems to be struggling. It soon drops a small package containing a Z-Ring and some Z-Crystals, along with a few Pokeballs containing Alolan Pokemon. It seems someone from the Alola Region was trying to send you a gift! A note, written in a fancy handwriting, falls from the lid of the box.* 'Thought you may need some help, so here- have all my stuff from a journey in another region!'

Yes, I did! They also caught me up on what happened after I fell. It sounds like it was pretty hectic. I’m sure it’s even more so now that Starwalker has disappeared too. They seem to like it here though!

Hello everyone! I’m so sorry for leaving without saying anything. I do hope I didn’t worry any of you.

My phone got broken in an accident a while ago. Of course it was a priority for me to get a new one and update all of you, but… things happened. Starwalker and I have been a little busy is all. That and it’s not exactly easy to get the money for a new phone. But I’m back now!
