I still think the most devastating enshittification I've ever seen has been picrew. One of the few dress-up game websites left that's not flash-based and it's become DRENCHED in ads. You can't open the home screen without being blasted by at least three or four ads. You can't open two picrews in a row without watching a video ad first. When you have a picrew open the ads cover up the different options and sometimes even stack on each other so you have to hit like 2 or 3 different x buttons to get it to go away, only for more to appear seconds later. Evil world

Oh then its 100% just fishing for money. And even if it's a real person cold calling is a sin that deserves divine punishment. Being a little meanie is the least they deserve - signed an introvert

has anyone else been getting twitter dms from people asking for you to commission them. they are old accounts that seem real but %90 of their posts are replies to other artists fishing for interaction. i thought they were just advanced bots but i was sending mean messages to them and the replies were too human and now i feel bad 😭

This is NOT for capnsoapy since as they've said "personally I don't want to have my" so on so forth but often we see people assign themselves to predefined terms as way of expressing the inexpressible. Sure youre a creative person, but what that means hold different definitions to different people. Now saying you identify with Mabel from gravity falls reveals youre gay. If anyone needs help understanding what their identification mean don't hesitate to reach out, the answer may shock you.

This here is a major cry for help. I'm actually in shambles right now, I've just noticed a dearly beloved spirk fanfiction has been deleted from my bookmarks and i don't know how to find it again. I have bad memories so i dont actually know the name which makes it hard so let me describe it. Its a tarsus V fic. the fic starts off on tarsus with jim being kind of a trouble maker/slack off. then spock shows up and he doesn't speak a lick of english, depsite that him and jim are fast friends. They learn each others languages together, spend every moment together, and race up to this great big tree that is their offically unoffical hang out spot. Then the plague starts and jim, like everyone else, doesn't think much of it. Probably just going to be short on food for a while but thats all. Then it gets worse. Jim notices something is off and goes to find spock. He in their classroom all lone in the dark. Spock through his broken english tries to get jim to understand that the governer is planning to kill half the people, and that that includes jim. que all the yelling and shooting of guns and spock and jim and half a dozen kids run into the woods, over the river they played in and past the tree who used to shade them. This is occompanied by an image the author drew, i think i remember it being kind of abstract with lots of orange to represent fire.

This fic was incredibly special to me, i even wrote about it for a number of papers in highschool/college but i cant for the life of me find them. I'm emotionally ruined by its absence, why would the author ever delete it? It was beautiful. If anyone recognizes the fic im talking about and has a copy or at least a name or old link please share. i just need something, i keep losing so many good fics i can't lose this one too please.
