Void Bois Finding Out Partner Is Pregnant

HO! I had this in the back burner for a bit but literally side-tracked and life shit made me constantly forget about this.

Honestly I wanted to make Vel'Koz' bit a fic, main inspo and the thought of him mentally shutting down amused me a lot X'D

Anyway- sorry for the absence, fixation had been elsewhere so I did not have any creative ideas/juices for the blog. Still kinda don't right now, but I did have this at least to share

I will say, this was written as gender neutral but AFAB focus.

Cho'Gath

By the time either of you realize you're carrying the Terror of The Void's offspring is when your belly was growing in size.

He thought at first you were simply sick, so he would carry you around and assist in getting you meals. Keep an eye out while you 'recover'.

The mood shifts were unusual for him, your mood swings were never this severe or frequent when you were sick or on a menstrual cycle.

Speaking of such, he noticed you were too late because of the lack of copper in the air- this is when he actually got serious for your health. Its one thing to be delayed in the month, its another to completely miss it.

Was not hard to find a doctor to diagnose you quickly

Does help when a gigantic monster threatens the area, and "promises" to let them live if they assist you.

Unfortunately he has to actually keep that promise for a few months because someone needs to help delivering the damn thing.

But finding out you were simply pregnant with his offspring, he couldn't help but laugh at the news. It was...adorable almost.

Despite how risky it was for others to be aware you were carrying his kid, there wasn't any concern as the problem would be dealt with once you delivered.

It was clear any harm to you would result in their immediate painful death.

And I mean- if he knows his lil Terror, its gonna be a very hungry baby once it comes out.

Kha'Zix

Kha'Zix quickly noticed the change of your hormones and behavior before you ever did.

Thanks to his own change of behavior you didn't notice anything until your stomach started to become rounder.

Suddenly you being allowed out of your shared "nest" was prohibited- and he would absolutely know if you left for five minutes

He was regularly bringing in dead creatures, animals, fruits and veggies for you to eat- since you weren't allowed to go gather food or hunt anymore.

God have mercy and pray for literally anybody who said hi to you, because that will be the last time you ever see them.

When you came to the realization you were pregnant, suddenly this change of behavior made so much more sense.

Telling Kha'Zix you were pregnant, you'd at least hope for some kind of surprised reaction or joy for the news.

"Did you not know you were pregnant this entire time?"

Apparently, it was so obvious to him, he thought the times before when you questioned his behavior was from the hormones.

Though he can't understand how someone would not notice they were, especially with the morning sickness and being severely late for mensuration.

You could tell that he wanted this for a while- I mean it wasn't entirely a secret.

While a part of it came from his evolution- the creatures and animals he's consumed, his scythes over you like a warning to unseen threats as he takes in your scent. Talks about lil 'Zixs running around and becoming lil hunters makes his usual sadistic smile soft.

Vel'Koz

As observant Vel'Koz is to any subtle changes to your behavior and physical well-being. He did not consider for a moment that it was a result of pregnancy.

To be fair, he hasn't conducted enough research into specimens in the pregnancy process, he's just very well aware species and your kind reproduce sexually.

And to give him some credit- he was fully convinced the two of you were incapable of reproduction. As Voidborns are made through very orthodox ways in comparison, and always with a purpose.

He wasn't far off though when he concluded your symptoms were from a "parasite" that's infesting your body, and insisted you get medical assistance to remove it (as much as he wishes he could- its out of his realm of capabilities.)

But for you to come back and inform him that you were pregnant- with HIS offspring for that matter-

God damn Eyeball short circuited like you tried to show "undeniable proof" that the world was actually flat

For both of your safeties he quickly got away from you to resist the instinctual desire to disintegrate you to understand how THAT happened (He did shout on his departure that it was for your safety- for reassurance.)

Eventually he returns after a couple of hours, now equipped with more in-depth knowledge of pregnancy and child development (both full and hybrid children- you don't wanna know how he got the knowledge.)

Despite his analytical and aloof behavior, he's been taking care of you extremely well and ensuring a safe and survivable delivery. Can't help but notice he also seems a tad more "emotional" than usual, like a bit of pride and excitement for this unexpected development.

Void Headcanons: Dere Types

So I had this idea while trying to sleep last night and thought it might be fun, plus a lil exercise for myself to do.

I'm mainly just going for the main 4 Dere types, and which ones they'd somewhat fit in my personal opinion.

Kuudere

Vel'Koz is a very analytical and logical Voidborn with a very specific interest in acquiring as much knowledge as possible, with him serving the Watchers as a very close second/almost first place with this directive. Naturally any interest he shows in anyone is met with the same treatment as with all the rest, just the special case being not immediate disintegration.

When it becomes a romantic interest- while it doesn't seem much different to how he normally acts- its very apparent if you've been with him for a long enough time. Because he has taken time to know your love language(s), your personal interest, quirks, habits and the like. For him- as someone who was made for a specific purpose of learning by destroying it for his creators, this is very "dere" of him.

Kuu-Yandere

Cho'Gath is in the same vein as Vel'Koz is in terms he's primarily focused on his goal and his goal alone- which happens to be just fucking eating. He's a sadist, as part of what makes the tiny meat-snacks taste so good is their futile efforts to stop him. He cares little for anyone, much less for his own kind out of the prospect of them taking his food instead. If you're in his way you're on the dinner platter all the same.

This shifts when he takes a romantic interest, encapsulating the "dere" part into the "yandere" instead. What better way to make sure you're safe than to keep you close to him at all times. He's good at watching where he steps, you'll understand how good the flesh of those who are afraid tastes. Only you have the privilege of sharing a meal with him.

Tsun-Yandere

Kha'Zix is the first, and perhaps the fastest to take a special interest in anyone outside of just hunting them, after all he changes with the prey he consumes. It would come with denial, and justifying any interest as just a worthy prey to consume. A unique trait of yours to provoke undivided attention from him, to learn your routine, to isolate you where you can't escape- wouldn't that be a useful trait to adapt into himself for future hunts? It causes a weakness in them anyway- it caused him to develop one with you, and whatever weaknesses he has needs to be remedied with the DNA of that prey who made it in the first place.

When he inevitably accepts the fact this interest in you is a romantic one, and that he now desires a mate. You are his and his alone. Sometimes he'll still play the "tsun", but just to play with you. Watch you squirm to get his affections again, just to switch it up as a "yan" and make you squirm a whole other way underneath him. Its adorable and delectable to him how he gets those reactions out of you, and that he's the only. one. to.

Yandere

Bel'Veth is a confident and powerful woman, she's aware of who and what she is, and knows what she has to do in order to achieve her goals. No matter how long it takes, no matter the amount of webs she needs to weave to achieve the desired outcome, it all falls into place exactly where she wants it to be. She has no use for those who seek to stop her, she has no use for those who choose to follow blindly the creators who made themselves obsolete. There's nothing she wouldn't do to get the world she craves out of its carcass.

This Voidborn hands down would embody the term "yandere", she's aware how fragile and how easily manipulated humans can be. If you do not accept her the first time around, she will simply make you accept her and disguise it as your choice all along. She's not worried about the what ifs, because there is no what ifs with her.

Yan-Deredere

Rek'Sai has mostly removed herself from her original directive as to be a mother of the Xer'Sai, and she is a dedicated mother in protecting her children and her nest that is the desert. Her priorities are her children, and regardless of what she feels towards someone, if her children don't accept them neither will she. This is a double-edge sword when the children do accept someone, as now that person has no choice but to be pulled into the burrows and to be the secondary parent.

She isn't heartless though, while at first it may be more necessity to show you're her mate and a parent of the Xer'Sai. As she quickly develops romantic interest she becomes far more affectionate and loving to you than previously- to a slight suffocating degree. She wouldn't want to do anything to upset you however, and within reason will provide you space- just not freedom.

Be My Little Nightmare Eater

God I genuinely love Dream Raider Kha'Zix- might be my new favorite outside of all of his skins now.

Like on a top 5 list not counting the OG, Dream Raider is easily #2 behind Dark Star Kha'Zix (#1) and above Death Blossom Kha'Zix (#3). Counting OG still #2

Beautiful and deadly, I would still think his "antennas" would be sensitive as hell, and has a mouth just under the wraps. As far as I know, no official description of his skin is out yet, so his "storyline"/role in the Dreamscape is entirely headcanoned based off of his OG story.

By all tense and purposes, you would be considered a "Psychic Detective".

Only reason for this technicality is because you had no interest to be part of the organization, much less use your powers for "the greater good".

Mainly for the sole reason being- you'd be facing far worse things than just your own personal, troubled Dreamscape, and above all else you would just be a liability to the cause.

You only "became" one after a incident in the Dreamscape that left you with the ability to transverse the realm and manipulate it.

You didn't know that your choice ultimately meant nothing, as you were hunted all the same for your ability.

The dreadful pressure against your lucid form felt indistinguishable from the waking world stress, the nightmares, and an actual threat.

It wasn't until one of the Dream Raiders had made his presence known to you that you realized which one it was.

Kha'Zix had every intention on devouring your mental state, the things you've conjured within your dreams were something divine to him.

And with every one of "your kind" he devours, the closer he gets to breaking the veil between the two realms and tasting real flesh.

He was cocky, overly confident, no one escaped his scythes yet- until you that is.

Honestly you didn't think you had it in you, and yet here you are awake and alive by the end of it, and whatever injuries you suffered were left within the dream you awoke from.

You were the first victim to be recorded to have survived Kha'Zix- and it did not help with you being requested to join the Detectives.

If not for your skills, just to ensure your safety for the next time.

But whatever happened during those hours where you were asleep- the life flash before your eyes, the realization you could actually fight back against your own demons, or even curiosity over the Dream Raider that invaded your 'scape.

You felt confident with your abilities.

Whether or not you'd join the agency was a different topic, but you would be looking forward to another tango with Kha'Zix if he so much as chose to go after you again.

And he very much would go after you again, your his Prey after all. Your survival only just enticed his interest in you further, to the point he just has to have you in his jaws.

He proved to you that you're the one in control of your mind, and you proved to him you're worthy of his attention.

I feel like out of all the others, Gentleman Cho has to be the most wholesome in terms of having a relationship with- sure he still eats people and shit but at least he's civil about it.

A Date With A Gentleman

Unless you had a specific date in mind, nine times out of ten will it be a fancy dinner date between the two of you at a expensive restaurant.

Just make sure there is something for him to nibble on at some point, dude has a big appetite.

I do mean it when I say those dinners are fancy ones.

Like if you came from a poor background, you're gonna feel out of place at these establishments with how refined and elegant everything looks.

Even the food looks like its got 20k more than you, and its a piece of meat.

At least the portions aren't exaggeratedly small, or played for aesthetics or could hardly fill a bird's stomach- possibly because of your date being present.

There were a few times you had to ask where he gets the money for these 5-star gourmet meals in the most expensive establishments- much less how he's even allowed in.

"I may have to have pulled a limb or two for such arrangements. Don't fret my dear!"

It's most likely not a joke when he says that, and its definitely an understatement for what he actually did.

At least the two of you don't have to deal with anyone potentially ruining said dates, at least not by anyone who's smart enough that is.

The one time it isn't a dinner date between the two of you, is a ballroom dance.

Usually whenever he suggests a dance is either when you're not particularly hungry, or he just wants to be alone with you in a silence that's only broken by your voices and the vinyl player.

Neither of you can dance properly, especially with the height difference between you both.

At least you two get to laugh about it.

Man I should have done this sooner cuz your ask literally hit me with inspiration! (Also I love the fact Kha'Zix was the first one, very fitting I'd say)

I was thinking over what soulmate trope I wanted to do, and I just got stuck on the idea of sharing each other's aspirations. Which would be cute in hindsight but given who the soulmate is might raise some problems down the line X'D

Hope I explained it decent enough, and sorry if it is rather vague. I want it to be so its easier for anyone to insert themselves (OCs, self-inserts or personas) into these things, if anything I would like for these to inspire you guys to take the ideas and run with them if they hit a cord in you. So, hope I accomplished that

Aspirations

In this world, your soulmates are determined by aspirations.

Everyone has things they inspire to be, what they wish to accomplish for themselves, what pushes them forward and so forth.

You have your own aspirations, as well as your Soulmate. You just share a similar drive in accomplishing each other's aspirations with each other.

Often times the aspirations compliment each other, like an artist and an architect.

Sometimes they are completely opposite to each other, like a fisher and a scholar.

You were...different to say the least.

At first things were relatively normal when you were a child, the only thing that stood out was the fact you didn't seem to be trying to follow another aspiration alongside the one you developed.

It was eventually ruled out by your parents and peers, you might be one of the very few who never get a soulmate.

It wasn't until you've gotten a bit older, and you (alongside the town bullies) got locked up until everyone's parents arrive did this other aspiration kicked in.

One day this drive to become stronger manifested in you, you wanted to become better than who you were currently. Not just at your craft/talent, but physically too

You also wanted to learn how to hunt suddenly as well, not just to provide for yourself- but just for the thrill of it and to prove you could do it.

It was quickly deduced to be the aspiration of your Soulmate that pushed you to be a hunter obsessed with self-improvement- which was a unique aspiration for where you grew up (the obsession part anyway).

While your parents were thrilled with you finally having a soulmate, they were concern with the aspirations of them considering how it affected you.

You still had your original aspiration, if anything it was magnified by your soulmates. Your skills improved significantly with it just because you wanted to be The Best.

Your techniques and methods changed a lot too, making it hard for people to follow how you even accomplished what you did.

You were considered a prodigy, given how others with your aspiration would be well in their late adult years, you far surpassed them with just becoming a young adult.

But your soulmate's certainly overpowered yours to a degree. You wouldn't be where you are now if not for their tenacity of change.

After a point, either you yourself, your soulmate, or the both of you had the drive of seeking each other out.

Even with his aspiration fueling you to be a hunter, you were leagues behind him and you wouldn't have found him if he didn't want you to.

You were pinned and subdued before you even realized what happened, with a sadistic laugh soft at your ear.

It was fortunate for the both of you at least, he preferred to play with his food, or else by the time Kha'Zix had realized you were his supposed soulmate was when he diced you up, and the faulty directive he had inside him faded with you.

Void Gals Dating Aroace Partner

Bing bong the gals are finally here.

Rek'Sai took a lot more effort to think about than I thought she would. Like on one hand it should be easier because she speaks nothing but growls and roars and is just mother, but on the other she is far more animalistic than the other Voidborns so she wouldn't behave like they do. Aside from that, Bel is further just making herself more of a wife at this point for me.

Rek'Sai

She's already a bit of a deviant from her species, as she wasn't created to be the protective mother she is to her offspring.

More so once you came into the picture and took on the parental role as well.

She follows her instincts, so in terms of loving you its what you'd expect from a giant scorpion-worm thing.

Gives you gifts, overly protects you, does acts or gestures akin to kisses, hugs and more, and when spring rolls around its all magnified along with wanting to be even more intimate with you.

You know she doesn't mean it, but you can't help but feel inadequate when she actively shows how much she loves you and wants you.

She isn't oblivious, just because she can't see your body language doesn't mean she can't hear it in your voice you're upset with something.

So she'll pester you about it, wanting to make sure you were okay and nothing was troubling you.

She'll give a stern growl when you lie, she won't let her mate wallow in self misery.

When you do tell her what has you troubled and how you feel like you're not properly showing you care for her, she feels guilty a bit.

It takes a bit of talking to figure out how to proceed with the relationship, just know that she isn't going to settle for anyone else but you as her mate.

It'll take her some time to break some of those instincts on how she treats you as her mate, if you mention any of it makes you feel uncomfortable. But she's willing.

Otherwise, she will try her best to not make it seem like she demands you to act as she does. Because you being with her is enough.

Bel'Veth

Bel'Veth does have a very strict view on love, but its more or less these five traits she demands in a partner.

Devotion, sacrifice, compromise, loyalty and obedience.

As long as you are willing to be loyal to her and her goals, devote yourself to her, be willing to compromise on differences, sacrifice your humanity to become one with the Void, and obey her when necessary.

She adores how you are, loves who you are, craves your individuality. She's happy to let you have free will and do what you wish, as long as you know when to park it and listen to your Empress.

So, when it came to you and your insecurities as a partner she simply asked if you were unable to follow those traits she desires.

When you answered no, then what is there to be concerned about? You fit the criteria of what she wanted and that was that.

You had to explain that you felt different in terms of romantic feelings or sexual desires. That because you felt different, you worried you weren't a suitable partner for her.

She gave you a choice, would you choose to be with her regardless of how you felt, or would you choose to leave because you felt so called 'nothing'?

Your frantic answer that you'd want to be with her, the tone of fear that you possibly upset or offended her and that she'd leave you was all she needed.

"Then what else do you need? Isn't that proof enough?"

She could care less if you felt romantic attraction to her, or if you wanted to have intimate actions with her. As long as you wanted her and you followed those traits. That's all she could want.

Void Bois Dating Aroace Partner

So this was random inspiration.

I kinda wanted to dedicate a post to people that are Aroace, Aromantic, Asexual or just in the spectrum in general. I did my best to make it vague so you could insert your identity into it more easily.

Honestly it took me a very long time to realize I was aroace, mostly because of the environment I grew up in (more or else hypersexualized) where at some point in my life I was expected to get a boyfriend, fuck, see how great sex is, and have kids. It took me a while to learn about the LGBT community, and longer to learn that I fell into the aroace category.

So, more or less to honor those to feel somewhat similar to how I feel. I made this, I'll make the gals soon enough! Honestly, I'm not sure if I even properly described the feelings or thoughts being on the spectrum, but I guess its something you have to feel for yourself to know.

Cho'Gath

Cho'Gath isn't exactly what you'd call romantic to begin with.

Falling in love with you just kinda- happened for him because you stuck around him.

He was positive he could never feel love, and yet you proved him wrong.

So how you act with him in terms of a romantic partner or a relationship in general he didn't question it.

He also didn't socialize or cared about this world enough to try and learn the customs or "traditions" of your species to get that you're not "normal".

Honestly it wasn't normal that you wanted to be with him when he stated you were going to be his mate, and you accepted without fuss.

But that's about the extent of what he knew and cared about.

So when you suddenly brought up your insecurities about making him feel unloved, he was fucking confused.

Apparently, times when you aren't with him and around members of your species you've grown self-conscience of how you choose to love him.

That you don't experience the feelings they feel when talking about their partners, or do things that couples are "supposed" to do.

That you feel guilty for...not properly loving him, that you feel broken for it.

If he didn't care about you as much as he does, he would have left you just to devour that entire region that instilled those doubts into you immediately.

If its the norm that mates are supposed to feel this particular emotion always, that they must do these rituals to show their devotion always. Consider him just as "broken" as you are.

All the proof he needs that you love him, and that he loves you. Is the fact you both choose to be together, and you both define it as being mates. Nothing else.

Kha'Zix

Kha'Zix never expected himself to get a mate, even as he evolved and changed from his original programming as a Voidborn.

He was dedicated- borderline obsessive over becoming the apex predator he didn't think about it.

You basically changed that for him, to the point he's also obsessed with you.

He made an effort to learn your species' customs for relationships just so he'd make it work, and to be a better partner to you.

Even if much of it didn't entirely make much sense, like having holidays to specifically get gifts for your partner. Wouldn't that be an every day occurrence?

But if its something expected and it'll make you happy, he'll go along with it in his own way.

He didn't exactly realize this was making you feel guilty and self-conscience of your feelings towards him.

He was following examples he's observed and learned from your kind, as well as things you like or usually do.

So when you eventually opened up to him, saying that you feel undeserving of him and guilty for not being able to reciprocate the feelings and effort he does- it surprised him.

It kinda hurt that he ended up doing the opposite for you.

Apparently, you're considered an outlier of your species, that you don't get these attractions or feelings of romance or sex. You didn't understand why your own species does these things, what classifies it as romantic or platonic.

Feeling scared that you won't satisfy his desires, or return those feelings he has for you because you're broken.

He'll comfort, keeping you close as he reassures you that you are not.

You're his first mate, and hopefully the last he will ever have. He just wanted to make sure he was doing things right. Because you're everything he wants and needs.

Even if you don't feel the exact things he feels for you, the fact you want to be with him despite it is enough. You shouldn't have to force yourself to satisfy him.

Vel'Koz

Honestly, Vel'Koz might be considered the same as you are.

Perhaps it has to do with how he was specifically made that he feels very little to no romantic or sexual attraction to others.

And probably because of that, you didn't really feel self-conscience with him about your feelings towards him.

The relationship did start off purely out of curiosity and wanting to study your species further passed the biological understandings.

But he grew attached to you, and frankly he can't imagine his life without you there now.

He can't say its romantic, much less sexual attraction to you. He has nothing that would provide that would benefit your species' in terms of a 'relationship'.

Its genuinely hard for him to explain or describe what he feels towards you other than he just...wants you with him. More than just a friend.

If anything, he is the one to bring up the topic. Because he felt out of place with your dynamic.

Even if you struggled to explain it properly yourself, you both understood each other when you expressed the same feelings.

You confessed to feeling some insecurities with it as well, but not as significant as others because you felt like he'd understand- to which you were right about.

Your relationship isn't normal to begin with, a minority would actually wish to be with a Voidborn or someone outside of their species in general.

So why should it be confined to the majority's standards of a relationship, when it should only matter to those in said relationship?

But that doesn't mean he isn't oppose to trying anything relating to couples, especially in the mating department. Much like you.

Though for him, it'll always be accompanied with studying and learning more about you, your species and the emotions behind it.

Void Gals During Shark Week

Void gals as promised for the shark week! Another AFAB focus post too.

Might be a bit before I make another headcanon post because I don't have much else for ideas right now. Been thinking over Odyssey Kha'Zix though but that might be it for now. Anyway enjoy the gals~

Rek'Sai

She's the least prepared one, mainly for the fact that female Voidborns don't have that cycle.

While its an absolute blessing that she doesn't have to deal with the emotional aspects of it, or the pain and annoyances of it either. She didn't expect you to be dealing with it instead.

Saying she was concerned when she smelled blood from you was an understatement.

Some uninvolved village was about to have their entire history wiped if you didn't get her to stop and listen, because she assumed the absolute worse.

Honestly really bad timing that you went out into a nearby village for heating pads and sanitary items, because she was fully convinced they did something to you.

Hearing that its completely normal for your species to go through, and that it basically meant you're flushing unfertilized eggs from your body- she calmed down.

She had more questions about it, more or less the whys of it.

She came out of it slightly upset, because she wouldn't mind having more children with you- but both your biologies make it difficult. She can do it asexually and she doesn't have the equipment to fertilize you.

But she's happy to hear you're happy enough to be the parent of her children, and new ones she pops out.

Though from now on, she'll have her older children go out and grab what you need instead of you going to a village to get it. Because like hell she'd let something else do what she can't to you.

Bel'Veth

Despite everything she's gathered in human history and DNA for her birth, she wasn't prepared for this either.

She noticed your behavior change slightly, things got you irritable faster and you got upset easier. She wanted to know what was the cause of it and she was going to get it one way or another.

When you couldn't give a satisfactory answer, she went in search of other means of figuring out what was causing this for you.

Though if you happen to know what she is referring too, and you tell her what it is she's glad its not something dire for you.

If not, it just takes her a bit to figure out and she's more or less annoyed she couldn't get the answer as fast as she wanted it, considering its time sensitive material.

If you were already prepared for the week, she would be less worried about your condition. You've got appliances and medicines to ease the pain, have products to use and food to satisfy your cravings.

If not, she will go out of her way to get those things for you. Its easier for her to get into human settlements due to her camouflage...for the most part.

She will question afterwards if that is an organ you don't need, because when she converts you for her new world she wasn't planning on leaving functional reproductive organs for you.

If you don't, that's fine she'll go as originally planned.

If you do, and even mention about future offspring. She will be a bit taken back, but rework her plans to suit your wishes.

Its not something she considered, but its not something she's against.
