i’m kidding (kind of), mostly i was interested in the classical clean feel of it, even when it’s messy and scattered. i’ve always had a keen interest in novels and knowledge, in old buildings and history. i guess it was a good way for me to enjoy that in a more aesthetic way, romanticise when i have to study and do assignments, or learn different declensions from an ancient language. it also has heavy themes of humanity, death, morality, history and literature, all of which i enjoy. it’s just fun hahah
