Funniest dnd moment I ever had, was a conversation between my warlock and a friend’s Paladin who had been part of a cult. They had assumed that my character had sold their soul and had to do his patron’s bidding. In reality, he was basically a contractor who job was to get magic items for his archefey patron.

So do to Al the stuff going on with ai I was thinking about androids and how the laws of robotics say that the robot is not allowed to hurt humans. So I thought if an android or ai was given the task of protecting humans, what emotions would develop first.

I thought about it and first was empathy. However, I was thinking about it more and the thought of affection, like that of a dog or an animal might have for their family, (no and you guys, Tesla and me).

But then I imagine it learns about the affection that comes from human relationship and develops a way to form those feelings knowing that if the human develops those feelings back that it be strong and helpful like that of the human relationship. And of course being new to the idea of emotions doesn't think it has the problem that humans have with relationships because they don't have things like jealousy, annoyance and anger.

And then it starts to realize that any romantic relationship that it's human has with other humans, that fails ends in depressions, an emotion it sees as harmful for their human. So it works on making sure those never get started and that the human stays in a relationship with itself (the android)

And then it realizes that even the non-romantic relationships can cause anger and sadness, once again feelings the android feels are bad for the human.

-And thus we end up with a yandere android gf
