claire being played by an autistic woman contextualizes her characterization in such a DELICIOUS way. because it’s like: from the start claire has been interpreted through an autistic point of view. her way of moving, speaking, and behaving has always been informed by an autistic voice. the way her character developed was informed by autistic storytelling.

there was no audition process for her character. the director, trevorrow, contacted someone he felt would understand the character instinctively. and that person happened to be an autistic woman.

hey. i just had to come here and tell you how much i love your stories — especially anhedinia, seriously, that plot changed my life.

i remember watching jurassic world sometime after reading it, and for a good chunk of the movie, my brain just made your plot canon.

anyway. i love the jurassic world, i love claire and owen, even though straight couples aren't usually my thing.

Jurassic June Day 17: Raptor squad. So I didn't want to draw them all alone because that is too many days and I got more dinos to do. But I didn't want to do just blue. So this was my in-between for myself. Blue is in the center because she is best girl. And her friends behind her. Would have LOVED for them to be more fleshed out. It seems like in pre-production they were. Echo's scar was from when she tried to challenge Blue once. And Charlie had more bird-DNA, hence the pupils and looking a bit more like the Sorna pack. Any way, I think they are all cool.
