Summary : Hanako puts a “seal” on Lane’s cheek saying “mine” to tease/anger Kou and make yashiro jealous

Lane sat near the window next to Hanako in the girls bathroom with Nene and Kou. This was a regular thing, Nene cleaning the bathroom with Kou, Nene arguing with Hanako, Hanako teasing Kou… the usual.

Lane just, stared into space… this is not uncommon, they often get lost in thought.

Hanako decided to sneak up behind them, “hey, cutie~” he teasingly spoke, “what’s going on in that head of yours?~ you’ve been zoning out for a good hour now!”

“did you know that helium doesn’t get affected by gravity?” They started, “If you cool helium just a few degrees lower than its boiling point, it becomes superfluid, which means it can move without friction!!” They softly explained.

Hanako holds their face, “I see… do you always think about those science facts on a daily basis..?” He cooed, “like I mean I don’t mind it, but why think that when you could be thinking of me?~” he flirted.

“… what?” Lane softly tilts their head in confusion, Kou’s face turns red “HEY!! Quit messing with Lane like that!!” He shakes pointing at the two of them, Nene just sighed softly, getting used to all the arguing at this point.

Hanako clings onto Lane tighter, holding Lane’s chin still, “oh yeah, kid? What are you gonna do? Exorcise me?~” he taunted Kou more. “Don’t even test me on that!!” Kou argued back, Hanako laugh as he keeps teasing and taunting him as usual.

But then Hanako suddenly has an idea…

Hanako grabs a piece of paper and a red marker getting to work, Nene looks a bit confused “what are you doing, Hanako-Kun?” Hanako just giggles in response “you’ll see~”

He then puts the paper on Lane’s cheek right after, it was supposed to mimic the seal he used on Kou’s weapon to limit its power, except it wasn’t that seal at all, it just had the word “Mine” with a little heart on the bottom that Hanako made with red marker. Hanako grins widely at Lane, “see? Now everyone knows you’re mine~” he teasingly whispered, making Lane’s face turn as red as a tomato.

Kou became even more frustrated “HEY!! I saw what you did there!!” “Did what?” Hanako spoke, trying to play innocent.

“Why you little-“ Kou starts chairing after Hanako, as Hanako starts to cackle as he floated across the room.

Nene looks at Lane and just sighs “if only I had a boyfriend that could cling onto me…” she looks at the ground in defeat, Lane awkwardly tries to comfort her, and yaps about science facts the entire time…

It’s just an average day at Kamome Academy…

So basically here I was talking about my ship dynamic stuff, and oc backstory stuff I’m gonna write for my tbhk oc lane, and since Hanako is my (sort of) latest romantic f/o, I was thinking bout ideas of how to incorporate that into my oc’s backstory (I was discussing it with my pookie bear Ghost, hints the discord set up) and I thought about this concept (it makes it sadder since my oc is Yashiro’s cousin :( )
