hey so um i accidentally posted this twice so im tagging the ppl who liked it if they wanna save it to their likes again

so. i missed hivemind’s birthday. whatever. go my hivemind headcanons

-that beekeeper suit he wears? he sleep in it. i don’t make the rules

-names the queen bees in his hives after his coworkers at zoraxis. not exactly their names, just one that’s slightly off that makes them question wether they’re being talked to. it amuses him

-has hEDS and uses a rollator. he keeps a pompom bee keychain attached to it and has it painted black and yellow. why? because i’m projecting that’s why

-autistic(what im not projecting again wdym), had mediocre grades in school due to overstimulation and lack of communication and understanding from teachers (not to mention with classmates)

-^but passed with flying colors in biology/ecology/etc classes

-^only really became aware that he’s autistic a bit before the events of the games (due to the boom in disability advocacy from the us civil rights movement in the 1950s-1960s)

-most often hangs out with charlie or solaris. him and solaris hated each other bc of the personality clash but they eventually had to work together and the two started to get along. now they visit each other every now and again to joke around and hang out and such

-bi + aroace (obvi didn’t have a proper term for it, he would usually describe it as wanting to date someone but in a friendly way (aka, platonic attraction and would be in a qpr if in modern day)

ok fine ill elaborate. some of you cant see a feminine man at all without instantly assuming he MUST secretly be gay or trans or “less” of a man somehow. and i dont feel super safe in a space where our immediate reaction to even the slightest hint of femininity is omgggg i knew he was fruity hes such a fruity boytoy fruitcake twink. like idm hcing him as queer i like hcing him as queer cuz im queer and i relate to him. but idk i dont particularly like that our first and i do mean like self admitted FIRST thought upon seeing someone with a feminine interest is to go omggggg hes so fruity what a boy kisser i cant possibly even fathom him with a woman like not every feminine flamboyant man is gay and not every gay man is feminine and flamboyant. so idk ig what im asking is like… we all took a moment to ask why we considered jj transfem with that other ask right?? so now can we take a sec to address the biases present in how quickly we decide that hes gay please. and then maybe take another sec to question why we all got so comfy with calling other people fruity like it wasnt also a derogatory term.

tldr; lot of you guys are way too quick to call someone whos even sorta feminine a historically derogatory term for gay men just like. off the bat. why are we doing that
