"just a kid."
I felt the cool blade
run against my damaged skin
the words of others
including myself
leak down my weak legs
my eyes water
my vision blurred
but the pleasure
and satisfaction
filled my brain
the victory
of proving everyone i could do it
filled my head
as the oxygen ran out
no one believed me
“you’re just a kid” they said
“you don’t know what life is really like” they said
but only if they knew
the feeling i had
when that man took me
took my life
the breath
out of my body
my childness
my playfulness
everything
then they would know
that i knew what life is really like
i heard the steps
the yelling
but it was to late
i was to far gone
the blade was far to deep
i waited
and waited
to be taken away
smiling as i felt the warm embrace
of the gates

i hate hate HATE people acting like they're better than you just because they're older. i know teenagers who are more wise than 80% of adults combined. living more does not make you smarter. it's about the experience that comes with living.
